Givenchy Beige Plumetis (103) Le Rouge-a-Porter ($36.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a light, peachy-beige with warm undertones and a natural shine. It had semi-sheer to semi-opaque coverage, but for such a light shade, I was surprised it was really sheer! The texture was smooth when applying, but the lighter color seemed to cling a little more noticeably. On me, it lasted for three hours but settled into lip lines. It was neither hydrating nor drying. MAC Romantic Breakdown (LE, $16.00) is lighter. Chanel Catherine (410) (P, $36.00) is warmer. Chanel Satisfaction (89) (P, $35.00) is lighter. MAC Naked Bud (LE, $16.00) is less shimmery, less pigmented. Marc Jacobs Beauty Dizzy Spell (104) (P, $30.00) is lighter. MAC Real Redhead (LE, $16.00) is darker. MAC Pure Vanity (LE, $16.00) is darker. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

Givenchy Rose Fantaisie (202) Le Rouge-a-Porter ($36.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a light-medium, cotton candy pink with cool, blue undertones and a soft sheen. It had semi-sheer to semi-opaque pigmentation that had a tendency to pull into lip lines, and it looked a little streaky. The color stayed put for two and a half hours, and the color migrated more and more noticeably into lip lines over time. Urban Decay Sheer Obsessed (P, $20.00) is darker. MAC Light English Red (LE, $30.00) is warmer. NARS Roman Holiday (P, $26.00) is darker. Too Faced Razzle Dazzle Rose (P, $22.00) is darker. MAC Real Doll (LE, $16.00) is lighter, cooler. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

Givenchy Moka Imprime (304) Le Rouge-a-Porter ($36.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark plum with warm undertones and a soft sheen. It had semi-sheer color coverage that went on fairly evenly, though it could have applied better. The texture was lightweight, a little clingy but not drying. This shade wore for three and a half hours on me. Chanel Grace (P, $34.00) is more shimmery, darker. Tom Ford Beauty Bittersweet (03) (LE, $50.00) is brighter, warmer. Chanel Scenario (P, $35.00) is warmer. Chanel Suzanne (438) (P, $36.00) is more shimmery, cooler. Bite Beauty Rosewood (P, $28.00) is cooler. Guerlain Air Kiss (304) (P, $37.00) is more shimmery, glossier. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

Formula Summary: Givenchy Le Rouge-a-Porter ($36.00 for 0.07 oz.) is supposed to be a hydrating, sheer coverage lipstick packaged in a slim tube that’s a riff off of the original Le Rouge formula. This formula is significantly lighter in weight and look, as well as much sheerer (and that is by design). The texture has a very smooth, velvety feel to it, almost like a stiffer lip balm, but it doesn’t tug on the lips. The color tended to look more like a stain of color, and it felt a little clingy, even if it wasn’t actually drying. For me, the formula was lightly hydrating at most and tended to wear only a few hours. These have a floral scent that’s noticeable in the tube and once applied, though I didn’t notice any taste.

Wow, these are like tinted lip balms, pretty but pricey. I like Moka but already have the Guerlain dupe Air Kiss, which I love and is a little more pigmented

Beige Plumetis nd Rose Fantaisie are waaay too sheer for me! And while I do like the color of Moka Imprime, I would much rather go with a dupe for it instead. Like Guerlain Air Kiss, for instance!

I like Moka Imprime. It kind of reminds me of Too Faced Le Creme in Shimmering Spice, Spice Baby. (Which happens to be one of few lipsticks I’ve ever worn that my husband noticed and complimented me on.) Rose Fantasie looks like Maybelline Baby Lips Pink Punch. Beige Plumetis is way too sheer for my tastes, but it looks like it gives a pretty sheen.
