Round-up: NARS x Christopher Kane Overview & Thoughts
NARS x Christopher Kane Collection launches online on April 15th and consists of ten, limited edition products. I wish I could say I had a favorite, but I was unimpressed by the collection and its products. If you pressed me to pick “favorites,” then I would tell you the eyeshadows, as at least they’re workable over a tacky base and extra effort and are more unique compared to the other shades in the launch. For me, this collection was stunning grouped together in their pans and tubes, but in practice, they were under-performing.

I do love Nars but their LE collections usually don’t tempt me!
I find NARS so hit or miss 🙁
I’m a bit sad that there aren’t any real A-rated top products in this collection, but like I said, Nebulous did manage to seduce me 🙂

I probably would have bought half the collection if they had performed. I’ll probably still pick up the eyeshadow because I’m a lemming for colorful shadows, but the lipglosses are a big let down.

It’s a shame this collection was such a let down, I love Nars but their LE’s never seem to get my attention!

I know! That was my feeling. You know I meant the first Nars collection that I can remember, not in the history of Nars ever-right? I hope he gets the quality back on track soon.
lol, yes! I figured it was based on your recall and on however long you’ve been buying NARS! I’m getting to the point where I don’t even like to remember how long ago I started buying makeup, haha. It just makes me feel old!
haha! You’re silly. Your so young! Time flies though..just enjoy it! Wait until the things that were popular when you ere in Jr and Sr. high school come back! Then you know you are considered a “classic” (aka old) lol.

Breaks my heart when NARS fails to deliver. It’s so hard to find a high end cruelty free company as is, let alone one that consistently puts out quality products! Thanks for giving these a try for us, Christine. <3

I’m surprised that you didn’t like the lip glosses. I’m totally crazy for Nebulous at the moment and will probably stock up on it for the future. I love the color with my auburn hair–it’s just the right amount of pop. The texture isn’t too sticky and it stains my lips a lovely color that remains even when the gloss wears off. I also like Nucleus for layering over lipstick, though it’s not as unique a color.
