I LOVE the look of this palette! I hope the colors perform well!
Okay, I need this in my life.
This is disappointing…
Agreed. Way too many browns/neutrals.
I’m digging this! It looks very nice, except Score (yikes!)
This looks promising! I’m looking forward towards your full review!
Seems decent, but not great, quality wise. Nothing very unique either. Sandbar looks kinda interesting, though.
I’m liking the look of the deeper and frosty/metallic shades in this palette! Oooo. 🙂
Wow, I want this more than I thought! The frosty colors are so preeetty!
Eh…I think I’ll pass…
This is the first The Balm palette to pique my interest. I’ll look forward to your full review later!
This palate is beautiful! I just wish it had more matte shades. Excited to see your review!
This is beautiful!
These swatches look pretty disappointing…this looks like it may be a skip too! Oh well, more money for everything else!
I like Big Kahuna and Pipeline a lot, but I’m think I’m going to pass on this one– too many shades similar to things I already own.
most underrated eyeshadow brand! i own a handful of pallets even that muppets one which i love!! they need to make a comeback or something.
True to that, The Balm has really nice products, the sizes they manage are huge and the prices are not so crazy expensive
It’s smaller than I expected it to be! It looks pretty too.
A few of these look pretty sheer. I’m curious to see how they perform. Especially Big Kahuna. That one is gorgeous!
I expected a little bit more pigmentation.
The first balm palette that really has me interested! They really chose colors that complement each other. I hope it goes on sale!
I want to see the rating you give it, but I want this palette!
Have not quite decided if I want this. I have Balm Voyage, and while the colors are beautifully pigmented and generous amounts, I rarely use it and most of the colors in Voyage and this ones tend to be neutral browns. I’m just not a neutral gal but Surf’s Up, Big Khauna, Pipeline, and Surfari are gorgeous. Those aloe would be why I get this palette.
Does anyone know if they have this at Kolhs yet?
Thank you, Christine! Thank you!
I have a major weakness for theBalm products and I love that they have a new palette out. Will definitely buy it as soon as I stop kicking myself for not owning their old Muppets and Balm and the Beautiful palettes 🙁
I am interested to see how the stencil guide things work! i love thebalm!
I love theBalm, so I am wanting this palette. But looking at the swatches, some seem to lack oomph. I’m looking forward to reading your review when you’ve had a chance to take ’em all out for a spin!
Looks like they have some good shades, but I really just dislike kitschy packaging like this.
I’ve kind of hit the highwater mark in general on palette. This one look like a nice nudes palette with a few pops of colour. I kind of wish the shades where permanent though for that reason!
Pretty colors, but I’m thinking nothing really unique. Score looks just awful.
Surf’s Up, Big Kahuna and Surfari look nice to me! Especially Surfari 😉 Pipeline is pretty, but the pigmentationleaves a bit to be desired and it does that thing where it’s actually a black shadow with blue shimmer, not a blue shadow. Clearly, Simbad’s Seas has spoiled me horribly 😉
I jUST FELL OUT OF MY CHAIR AT THE OFFICE!
I like that it seems like a good mix of finishes but I am worried about the pigmentation on some of the shades.
I’ve never been super excited about a balm palette until now! Usually there are too many shades I wouldn’t use, but I can see myself using most of these!
Wow, super shimmery shadows! I just read that metallic eye shadows are the ‘trend’ for this fall. I guess I’ll have to give in!
The colours look promising – I hope it delivers!
Hmmm…some shades swatch a lot lighter than I thought they would. It’d be nice if some of the vivid colors could be sold in smaller palettes or as singles. Can’t wait to read your review!
It reminded me of a lot of Urban Decay palettes: a bunch of dark/black shadows very similar, sometimes with glitter, which swatches almost exactly the same (and not impressive at all). A lot of similar beige tones too, most of the palette is very boring, and some cool ones seems to have weak pigmentation. Definitely a no for me.
I loved High Tide, Sandbar, Tubular, Surfari and Kawabunga though.
Now these look lovely – I really like most of the shades.
This palette is beautiful! Stoked does seem int he same vein as Naked 3’s blackheart though, black with pink/purple glitter.
I overall like this palette’s composition.. Definitely more wearable for me. I love the silver, I like how muted the blue is, the purple (of course) and I really like the shade Dig It ..that rosy brown.. gorgeous.
I love The Balm, the packaging, the sizes of the products and the quality/price, but this is the first time i see that the shadows look pretty sheer, although it might be on purpose due to the theme of the palette? Looking forward to see your in depth review Christine 😀
I’m very unsure about this one. Some of the shadows are gorgeous, some, not so.
