5 Beautiful Teal Eyeliners I Love

You’ve probably noticed that I like to wear teal eyeliner–it’s the perfect pop of color on the lower lash line that brightens and still works whether it’s a minimal makeup day or not (or so I believe, at least). Here are the five that are my most-used!

  1. Sephora Good Mood — a green-teal with a pearly sheen
  2. Marc Jacobs Beauty Intro(vert) — a brightened green-teal with sparkle
  3. Marc Jacobs Beauty Ody(sea) — a pop of blue-teal
  4. Tarina Tarantino Spark of Envy — a true shimmery teal
  5. Sephora Fairytale — a deepened blue-teal with gold and green shimmer

Spark of envy seems like a great shade, I’ll wait when Hautelook or Nordstrom Rack has them in. I had my Mac Blue Noon stolen 🙁 so I had to use Tarte’s Aqualillies Amazonian Clay Liner in splash. Kinda does the job… I like teals too, for me with large almond eyes and brown eyes, it brings out the brown and it makes my eyes pop and look larger. Take note brown eyed girls!

I love teal eyeliners. Great as you say for a pop of colour. Admired Tarina Tarantinos’ on you many times but sadly cannot find them here in UK. I do like my UD Deep End though 🙂

Kelly, check out Sephora’s Surfer Babe. I was going to buy that LE pencil from MUFE, because I’d seen Christine’s review and fell in love but when I tried it last summer and then swatched Surfer Babe next to it, I couldn’t find a reason to pay twice as much for basically the same colour. So once you run out of 52L, do consider trying Surfer Babe….it is really close!

Thanks, I am definitely going to check that out. I’ve been meaning to check out Sephora’s pencils anyway so that would be a great start. Time to break out the #52L again!

Good Mood and Surfer Babe (both Sephora) are my go to’s. I was looking for a more affordable dupe for (O)vert and found one in Sephora’s Matte Moss Retractable Liner. You wouldn’t think it from the name but swatched it is exactly like (O)vert!

I have both of the Marc Jacobs liners. I adore them both and reach for one or the other almost every day. They are great with brown eyes. Like you I use them on the lower lid. Always get compliments.

I just checked my stash and I don’t! I have a few other TT liners and like them though! I’ve been in such a liner rut, pretty much only applying black gel liner on the upper waterline, since my allergies suck and I feel like anything else is gonna smear on me.

Oooh, I can do five, too! 😀

– UD 24/7 Liquid Liner in Siren – The first shade in the line I bought, I still think it’s great, and I ended up loving the formula/applicator.
– NYX Glam Aqua Luxe in Lagoon – About as green as you can get and still be Teal, I think the formula is about as nice as UD’s, also has a nice brush applicator, and it’s super sparkly.
– Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen in True Teal – Despite the name, actually a pencil. I think Pixi might have the best pencil formula, and I’ve sharpened down a noticeable length of this pencil. It’s very creamy and super deep. Very easy to apply.
– Styli-Style Line & Seal in Marine – So, awhile back, Sears discontinued their beauty departments and marked things down crazy amounts, and I picked this up on a whim. (My brain goes: Want to try a new formula? Buy the teal.) I think the formula’s superb, and the color’s great. Don’t know where I’ll ever find the brand again, though. Haven’t seen it before or since.
– L’Oreal HIP Kohl in Teal Kohl – Kohl powder’s the only thing that stays on my waterline for longer than about five seconds. L’Oreal made a Teal, and it’s a good one. It’s a shame these got discontinued, but the way they were packaged in the stores was pretty sketchy (no safety seals for a product that goes in the eye area, way to go, L’Oreal), so I would not be surprised if they sold terribly because of that. I got most of mine via ordering online.

The Marc Jacobs and Tarantino eyeliners look so pretty. Its such a shame you can’t get them in NZ. May have to do an in depth search elsewhere on the internet!

Dont laugh but I got one off Avon last year! I quite like Ysl dessin du regard waterproof eyeliners but I haven’t yet checked if they have a teal.

NYX’s retractable waterproof eyeliner in Aqua Green! Applies so smoothly and lasts all day! I actually have you to thank for inspiring me to try that shade and technique (I usually don’t line my lower lash line), Christine! I wore it a few times during the summer on weekend and while on vacation.

Hieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee 🙂 missedddd commenting here 🙁 🙁
my fav part “five ways” and tealssss you are enabler and i thank you for that 🙂
have 3 out of 5 listed here .. yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa isnt it awesome ?
love spark of envy and intro vert and can you guess even non makeup lovers complimented me for intro vert 🙂 and thats a huge thing for anyone 😀 😀
i also love MAC undercurrent and UD covet 🙂 was able to pick that before it was discontinued 😀

Jade Avatar

MAC Undercurrent is just about my favourite thing ever at the moment. The gold sparkle seals it for me, I think, it prevents it from being too cool toned. I think I’ll break it out tomorrow!

I still do not understand to this day why Estee Lauder didn’t keep Electric Teal permanent. My mom tells me she’s going to cry when that’s finished!

I love Spark of Envy. I find that teal looks better on me now that I have blonde hair – cools down the brown in my eyes to work better with it!

*flails* NEVER STOP DOING THESE 😀 <3 Teal eyeliner lineups are like my makeup pr0n…

*cough* sorry. Where was I?

Hm, I wonder if I can justify owning Fairytale if I already have UD Junkie… your swatch comparison tells me that Fairytale is a little greener in the shimmer, but as a true teal eyeliner connoisseur, I think I owe it to myself to try and make my collection as comprehensive as possible, no? 😉
