Wow that quad just screams my name! And they say this formula is even better than the regular TF shadows, you had reviewed before,I’ll try everything to track it down this far away from Turkey! lol
It looks like the same formula as the Enchanted quad, and if that is the case, that formula was fantastic.
Hm. On the one hand, my first thought was ‘zzzz’. But that’s not fair. So on the other hand, it’s always interesting to see new complexion stuff, even if I’m more into colour makeup! 🙂
I love those blush/highlighter duos!
I don’t think I’ve ever stalked Nordies/Neimans/Saks like I have been since August 1st hoping to see this collection appear for sale! I’m obsessed lol! There is usually one fall collex I go crazy on…I believe Tom Ford Fall and Giorgio Armani’s Fade to Grey collection will make 2 this year! Oh dear…I think I just heard my wallet groan in pain! ;D. Gorgeous post…thank you for this! 😀
I am very worried the quad + contour blushes will sell out VERY quickly!
I think you are right about the quad and cheek duos, but I think the other item that will probably be a sellout that people may not expect is the nail lacquer. I am hearing stores will be receiving VERY small quantities of Black Cherry, with some counters only getting 10!
Saks is now allowing pre-orders of both the eye quad and the nail lacquer. We’ll see how many they allow…
The polish and the lippie in photo three—wow.
If you plan on buying the polish you may want to contact your closest TF counter and pre-order 🙂
When is the exact release date? I’m looking forward to the sculpting powders.
They didn’t provide an exact date. Saks changed the image of the Eye Color Quads to what looks like the one from fall, but it’s not in the drop down – but soon I think.
I’ve been debating over this foundation and concealer for a couple of days now. I have such a huge stash and I do really like TF stick foundation in the winter, but I was never a fan of the liquid. The shades are not consistent across finishes and it is too expensive to screw up and order the wrong shade. TF is a label that is extremely difficult for me to get my hands on and the doors keep closing there as well which completely pisses me off. The label is carried by one..ONE.. retailer in Canada (if someone knows more..please inform me). This goes to my rant on the previous post about which label you would choose to participate in a collection. Rarely do I get exasperated or care about the ‘politics’ of a label, but this week, TF has seriously annoyed the hell out of me and I’m not sure I want to be a customer going forward. Tom Ford BITE THIS. Right, but this is the type of label that wouldn’t give a crap about losing a customer. Had to vent.
I’m surprised it’s so limited – frankly, I didn’t think TF would sell as well as it has (it is very pricey), but it appears to here in the states, so I don’t know why they don’t increase distribution vs. limit it.
I share your pain. I was so sad when I realized that Burberry was discontinued at Holt Renfrew. That means that Burberry makeup can no longer be found in Canada! 🙁
I so know, Gen 🙁
Plus, many will not ship to shipment forwarding addresses in the USA either. I don’t get it. Are they all making that much money they can turn business away? The economy says otherwise. You know things are really messed up when you can’t spend your money.
I believe Burberry is now exclusive to the Vancouver Holts location, Gen. You may be able to do phone orders for products, but I concur – was bummed to see the Burberry counter disappear, too 🙁
I actually pre-ordered a few things from this collection. Tom Ford has been on my “too expensive to ever consider list” forever. But, I liked that this collection seemed very wearable for everyday and just decided to try to brand. Love the scents…but never tried the makeup. We shall see…. (hope to see your reviews before I open them…not expecting them until late August/early September).
Interested to see how the contouring cheek color duo and shadows swatch and perform…from the photos the darker contouring color looks very interesting…a bit red based, not as orange as many other contour/bronzer products.
I’m so excited for this launch. I am definitely getting the eye shadow, contouring duo, the Negligee lipstick, and maybe the mascara.
That foundation sounds nice, but $80? Ouch! 🙁
The model is beautiful.
The model is Gigi Hadid, the daughter of Yolanda Foster. I think she is absolutely gorgeous!
Fortunately, those LE contour/highlight duos do absolutely *nothing* for me, LOL, so I don’t have tonworry about tracking those down (besides, I did quite a bit of damage over the weekend with several other sculpting products…). The quad looks nice, but I’m not loving the upper right-hand shade, so atbthis price, I’ll pass. I am interested in the primer & foundation, though, so I’ll havebto check those out!
I do like the overall look of this collection, though, and find it well thought out & cohesive.
So excited for this, I will most likely get the quad. Did you receive any of these items to review?
I love that top contour/highlight duo!
Beautiful… Not that I could afford any of it! But I can’t wait for the reviews to pretend I know about Tom Ford money..lol. But i love the idea behind this release. It actually puts in to words the look I usually go for (with added sparkle of course). Nudes/contour/natural beauty but better:)
I’ve been hearing not so good things about the foundation and color selection for it is downright awful. Holding out for the eye palette and lippies.
That’s interesting. The only complaints that I’ve read are the shades are mostly warm, and the 3 cool shades are all pale (NW20 and below).
There are only two darker shades. One is too orange and another too red. I think at that price point TF could’ve done a far better job.
I’d have to see the quad swatched and the nail lacquer looks great!
so beautiful and so far outside my budget!!
I wouldn’t buy an make up so expensive without swatching it first, and as TF isn’t available here, as far as I know, there will be no TF for me.
I’m not superimpressed either to be honest, but that’s probably due to my loving things a bit more colourful.
Love looks like this on others though.
The lips and eyes and nail color in this Ad..! Flawless. And I need it!!
I can’t wait to try the foundations! And those lipcolors look stunning! Are you planning on trying and reviewing the foundations, Christine?
Why must everything look so beautiful?? I can’t wait to see swatches and reviews of everything. The foundations and lipsticks look so good!
Saving my pennies, because this is the fall collection I’ve been waiting for. I can’t buy every new collection from every line, but this is definitely the one I want.
I am so hoping the eye shadow quad swatches well on me. It will be a welcome addition to the Emerald Lust palette I have. Love me some Tom Ford!
All of that looks really beautiful. I think the eye quad is fabulous.
That blush looks like the same idea as Chanel’s Les Beiges Multi Colour with the three stripes that launched around spring time.
Tom Ford’s version of Urban Decay’s naked palette n the Naked line.
Sorry but meh. And I don’t get a campaign for makeup that you can barely make out the colors which are shrouded in shadows!
Talk about technology: “the skin-nourishing Tom Ford infusing complex.” Ummmmm. So now we can infuse Tom Ford directly into our faces? Sweet; I’ve kinda always wanted to micro-managing control freak to live in my skin, so this foundation is a total steal!
The eye shadows look beautiful, hope I can get hold of them (and the corrector pen – sounds wonderful), but the concealers pen isn’t as unique as they’re saying – it has the same applicator as a Maybelline concealer…
