NARS Wrong Turn Nail Polish ($20.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a "graphite." It's a dark, slightly metallic gray with cool undertones and a pearly shimmer. It was nearly opaque after one coat, but two coats were still needed for full color coverage. The consistency wasn't too thick or too thin, so it flowed well across the nail and was easy to apply. It dried down faster than other shades in the collection, due to the more metallic-like finish. Once dry, it had almost no visible brush strokes. MAC Grey Friday (LE, $16.00) is darker. China Glaze Stone Cold (LE, $7.50) is darker, more matte. Zoya Tao (P, $9.00) is lighter. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
