Maybelline Pink Fever (20) Master Glaze Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
Maybelline Pink Fever (20) Master Glaze Blush
Maybelline Pink Fever (20) Master Glaze Blush ($8.99 for 0.24 oz.) is a cool-toned, light-medium pink with white shimmer. Too Faced Jingle All the Way Blush (LE) is a powder. Urban Decay Quickie (LE) is less shimmery, powder. NARS Gaiety (P, $29.00) is lighter, powder. MAC Peony Petal (P, $21.00) is a powder. MAC I’m the One (LE, $21.00) is a powder. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
The Master Glaze blush formula is supposed to give dewy, sheer color. It applies sheer in one layer, but I found it to also be buildable to light-medium coverage. The consistency is quite emollient with a high degree of slip, and it doesn’t fully set or dry down, so the finish is more luminous–which may look oily if your skin is already naturally dewy. It didn’t emphasize pores, and the shimmer seemed almost undetectable once applied. On my normal-to-dry skin, Pink Fever wore well for six hours, but it was faded and patchy after that.

Can I ask what you’re wearing on your lips? It’s such a lovely color!
Revlon Snow Peach!
Grrr those shade still have not shown up in Canada. lol
Okay… That’s not really what I’d label as subtle shimmer in the swatches! On your cheek it looks fine though!
It’s definitely a lot softer applied!
What a fresh youthful look, Christine! I wonder if we’re going to get this blush here…
Thank you!
The blush is pretty…but I need to know…what is on your lips, because whatever it is, I need to get it now!!!
Revlon Snow Peach!
Snow Peach is so pretty. I’m just starting to wear corals in my old age. I purchased Attrape-Coeur which I love, and over the weekend I got Revlon Coralberry. So pretty. I also ordered Dior Fluid Stick in Rieuse.
Icky poo. 🙂
Aw!
Too bad it fades patchy! I’m not somebody who retouches her make up the whole time!
Right on!
Great post! I’ve been thinking of trying out one of these glaze blushes. Do you think setting it with a bit of powder blush would help with the longevity and patchy-ness??
Meghan
It would help somewhat in regards to longevity, but I didn’t like the way the two mixed (the blush is just… too emollient).
Master Glaze is such an interesting sort of name, but I guess (given how it wears/applies) glaze is actually a really apt name for it!
I’m loving that lipstick you’re wearing in the full face pic!
Thank you!
Hi – What is on your lips in the last picture? thanks.
Revlon Snow Peach!
pretty shade!
It is!
Nice Christine! It’s really dewy and lovely on you. I’m on a no buy but hey for less than $10 my pockets can handle that!
Thank you!
Not a fan of cream blushes, although it is a pretty color.
What are you wearing on your lips in the swatch picture?
Revlon Snow Peach!
Very pretty and reasonably priced.
True! 😀
If it was less dewy it would be perfect for me!
Agreed!
This shade looks beautiful, especially with the eyeliner.
Glad you liked it, Abby!
Seems like this would work well with my dry skin! By the way, what is that beautiful lipstick you are wearing? 🙂
Revlon Snow Peach!
That looks really pretty on you! Also, what lip product are you wearing? I love it!
Revlon Snow Peach!
I was eyeing this blush but now I’m not so thrilled. I have oily-combination skin. Thanks for saving me from a so-so purchase, Christine! By the way, what are you wearing on your lips? It is super pretty
Revlon Snow Peach!
Woo… it works perfectly as a blush and look so even on the cheeks. I will be waiting for these to be launched in india.. 🙂
Hope they arrive soon!
I think this blush looks fantastic on you. What I want to know is where do you buy your ear rings? You have some of the nicest ear rings I have ever seen. I have been reading your blog for over 2 years now and I want just about every single pair of ear rings you own. They are EACTLY the type I love wearing.
Aww, thank you! Almost all of the ones I wear these days are from here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/bellaanelajewelry
I’m glad you reviewed this product because I keep seeing these in the drugstore! I think for the price it is definitely worth trying!
No problem!
That blush is just perfect for summer evenings! I love how sheer it is while still waking up your face!
Happy to hear you liked it, Erin!
Beautiful photos as always !
I appreciate all your hard work and dedication 😉
I must ask though what is that fabulous lipstick you are wearing ?
