Haul: Nothing beauty related this week. I am waiting on the Sephora sale next week and I plan to have a huge haul to report next Fri!!!! x) I did order a new bathing suit from VS- but it is backordered, so I wont have it for another few weeks. Since it’s snowing in Spring where I live (NJ), I am ok with the backorder! LOL.
Weekend plans: Going away tonight just to get away, and am throwing a baby shower for a friend of mine on Sunday. Here’s hoping it goes as well as we hope!!
Last movie: Most likely Wreck it Ralph… it’s my go to movie when I need a pick me up, or if I just want to watch something cheerful!!! I love it… my husband and I dressed up as the characters last yr!!!

Weekend plans: My father-in-law is visiting! Today I’m making a Texan-inspired bean and sausage dish with cornbread and a side salad… and his favorite, carrot cake for dessert. And I have to watch Hannibal because I can’t deal without watching that show every week. Tomorrow we’re planning on touring a local distillery (with delicious tastings included) and being a tourist in our hometown by checking out the archaeologic museum at the university. We’re also going out to a Chilean restaurant for dinner. Should be really fun!
What was the last movie you watched?: … Actually, it might be Frozen for me, too! But we’re planning on seeing Noah and Captain America: The Winter Soldier next.

Carrot cake – one of my all-time favorite desserts.
I ordered and am eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Tom Ford Traceless Stick Foundation and the Sunday Riley Effortless Breathable Primer. I agonized for weeks over whether to purchase the TF foundation and cannot wait to try it.

Haul: A few items from the Revlon Electric Chrome Spider Man collection – Super Lustrous glosses in Sparks Fly and Electro-Shock, nail polishes in Superpowered and Spidey Sense. I wish I could I say that I wasn’t such a big dork that I practically had a nerdgasm in store when I saw Revlon had done a comic book movie collection, but that would be deceitful.
Weekend Plans: Getting hair dyed, shopping wedding makeup with mom, and working. Ugh.
What was the last movie you watched? Hmm, I boycott the majority of Hollywood films, so it’s been awhile…I think it was probably the Hunger Games: Catching Fire film.

Haul: I got two of those new spring Maybelline color tattoos in caramel cool and sleek and spice, two Color show nail polishes in gilded rose and deep in violet, a vaseline spray & go in cocoa butter (love this stuff), and a terrible revlon just bitten lip stain and balm in beloved. I wish i had seen the reviews for the lip stains before I got them. They were 50% off at walgreens so I just picked one up. And I just bought the too faced chocolate bar palette with shadow insurance primer off HSN because they had a $20 off coupon for new customers. I’m so excited to get it!
Weekend Plans: I have my yoga class tomorrow and my best friend is coming over to play some video games, probably uncharted 2, and we’re making baked ziti! So excited! 😀

I got the Voluminous Butterfly mascara in blackest black! I was going to get the Telescopic one, but the VB one was already on sale plus I had my coupon, so I figured I’d try it out. I also sneaked a tube of Maybelline Age Rewind under eye concealer into my basket 😉

Haul: I got two more Chanel polishes: Taboo and Blue Satin (love them both) and a new set of the L’Oreak gel system (base and top coat) – I use these with all my polishes and they work great.

Haul: Nail polish remover and cuticle remover (i keep losing or misplacing the bottles i buy, good thing they’re not expensive!) from my local beauty supply store. Givenchy Noir Couture Waterproof Mascara and a mini Smashbox Photofinish Light primer from Sephora. Two candles from the BBW two for $22 Candle Sale (London Calling – an earl grey and lemon scent and Cheers to Capri – a limoncello scent), a mason jar soap dispenser from BBW, and the Market Peach soap to go in it. Then I got a shirt at F21 (a long sleep shirt that i’ll wear as a regular shirt that says “I need coffee” in big letters), and a canvas tote bag that says “Totes Magotes” in smallish black lettering on the bottom of the bag, also from F21. Last, I also got the basic bamboo jersey top from Angl in grey and a dusty rose color.
Weekend Plans: Homework (grad school life, ugh), mystery date night on Sunday evening, and then the Walking Dead season finale Sunday night!
Last Movie You Watched: Perks of Being a Wallflower. I think it might be one of my favorite movies of all time. Such a beautifully done story, and beautifully written script.

Haul: I finally found a MLBB lipstick that doesn’t make me look like a corpse: Chantecaille Lip Chic in Tea Rose! Yesss! She shoots, she scores!! woohoo! Been looking for a long time and this is it, so pretty chuffed. Also got a Nars eyeshadow duo in kalahari and a Jo Malone perfume for winter (which we are on the cusp of in NZ) called Dark amber and ginger lily.
Weekend Plans: for the first time in weeks and weeks, we have no plans. Just ironing. Boo!
Last movie I watched: Thor: the dark world, which I got on DVD last week. (Am I weird for thinking that as gorgeous as Chris Hemsworth is, me likee Loki?!) Its been a while since I’ve actually been to the movies I must say.

Haul: Oooh, so much – had a shopping trip to Melbourne… NARS Kauai and Charade duos, BareMinerals quad (the purple one), 3 Marvelous Moxie lipsticks, Physicians Formula Happy Glow Booster Blushers in Natural and Rose, nearly the entire set of Rimmel Colour Rush Lasting Balm gloss pencil things, elf Long Lasting Lustrous eyeshadows in gold, berry and brown (I’ve ordered all the other shades as well, because they are AH-MAZING), a couple of mascaras from elf and Sleek that I have yet to try and… Guerlain Cruel Gardenia from the Melbourne airport duty free – I nearly DIED when I saw it and I;m pretty sure my credit card has scorch marks on it from how fast I whipped it out, LOL.
Weekend plans: Coffee with my mum then a BBQ dinner with friends on Saturday, Sunday is a quiet relaxing, stay-in-pajamas-all-day day for me 🙂

Haul: I bought the Real Techniques blush brush and stippling brush at my favorite drug store. They were unmarked and the Manager isn’t familiar with makeup brushes so she charged me $5.99 for each brush (ha ha)! Today I noticed they were marked up to $9.99. I also bought the Almay eyeshadows to try in Lilac and Hot Fudge for $2.49. Another steal, so I’ll try them out.
Lastly, I went to the Nordstrom triple point sale and bought some coral lipsticks at the MAC counter: Ravishing, Vegas Volt and the Mineralize lipstick in Style Surge. I’m ready for Spring!
No plans, just happy there are no snow storms in the NYC forecast!
Last movie I watched was a great documentary called “20 feet from Stardom” about unheralded and super talented backup singers, past to present. Fantastic documentary that won an Oscar this year. (The Oscars seem so long ago!). Singer extraordinaire Darlene Love is so pretty and awesome.
Haha! I took advantage of the triple points sale, too, though on a few dresses! 🙂

A hula hoop! I remember I bought a hula hoop to exercise with, and it was so painful to use, I gave up 🙁 Any advice?
The weighted hoops do cause bruising, but once your form is perfected and after you use it for awhile, you can start using Poly Pro hoops which are much lighter. Unfortunately, bruising is inevitable because of the weight of fitness hoops. 🙁
How long do you feel like the bruising period lasts? LOL! I am a big wuss when it comes to that type of pain for some reason.

Haul, MAC Cork, All that Glitters, repurchase of Brulée, Girl About town and Up the Amp. also an empty palette. Spent yesterday afternoon depotting older MAC eye shadows. Feels as if I had bought a new palette. My MACs have been in the bottom aof my eyeshadow pile with loads of palettes on top, so I kept forgetting about them.
I love the new shadows aI got, so versatile. I also love, love the lipsticks. I wear Girl About Town a lot, Up the Amp feels a bit more like a statement lip.
The weekend plans are celebrating the dog on his second birthday, on Saturday and just relaxing on Sunday.
Last film, not sure about this, I watch a lot on Netflix, and films I’ve TIVOed.It was a really long time since I went to the cinema to watch a film. I think it might have been the first Hobbit movie.
