St. Tropez is a pale, warm-toned beige with golden sparkle over a satin finish. This shade is the least shimmery--applied--in the palette, as all of the sparkle sits on top of the actual eyeshadow, so it doesn't translate on the lid. If you want the sparkle to stay, you'll need to apply over a tacky base (cream eyeshadow, adhesive base, etc.). There's so little that actually seems to make it to the eye that I really didn't notice fall out during wear--you know, there was just... little to fall out. Divergent Serene Vanilla (LE) is more matte. bareMinerals Celebrate (LE) is more shimmery. Makeup Geek New Year’s Eve (P, $6.99) is slightly lighter. MAC Shroom (P, $15.00) is cooler-toned.
