Sisley Paris Mango (3) Phyto-Blush Eclat Review, Photos, Swatches
Sisley Paris Mango (3) Phyto-Blush Eclat
Sisley Paris Mango (3) Phyto-Blush Eclat ($85.00 for 0.24 oz.) is a light-medium peach with a satiny, golden sheen. Hourglass Dim Infusion (P, $35.00) is darker. NARS Sex Appeal (P, $29.00) is pinker. MAC Cream Soda (LE, $21.00) is more matte, darker. Le Metier de Beaute Whisper (P, $30.00) is more beige, more shimmery. See comparison swatches.
The formula is supposed to be an “ultra-fine powder texture [that] allows for customized makeup application that is appropriate for all skin shades,” while also being long-wearing. The brand also includes skin softening ingredients in the formula (it’s a very skin care driven brand), but short of wearing this for weeks on end, I won’t be weighing in on that aspect. It’s not all that practical to use the shades individually, as each section isn’t large enough to accommodate a blush brush, though you could try to concentrate your blush in the lighter/darker sides. When swirled, the lighter, peachy color dominated whereas the pinky-coral hue darkened it slightly and gave it additional warmth. It’s a blush that is going to work best on lighter complexions; I’m about medium and at its most buildable, it’s a subtle blush on me–it adds warmth, a little color, and a subtle sheen. It gives more of a glowing effect than overt shimmer, so there’s no fear of emphasizing pores or skin imperfections. The texture is soft, finely-milled, though it felt a little thin–not quite as buttery as I expected or as smooth. The color wears eight hours on me before starting to fade. The included brush was somewhat scratchy and prone to shedding.

That looks really pretty on you!
Thanks, Judith!
85 freaking bucks and it comes with a crappy brush and a rather… cheap-looking case, I must say.
I prefer the look of Dim Infusion on you, Christine.
I’ve heard a lot of people really like the case in the past, but it’s definitely a pattern I can some loving and others leaving!
I think the packaging is cute, but with an $85 product, I don’t want “cute”. I would expect something more sophisticated, and cohesive with the target demographic, which at that pricepoint, would be a bit older. Also, it does look a bit flimsy…
All kind of a subjective thing, so I can’t really say, but it’s definitely not flimsy!
It’s cute, but it’s the sort of pattern that looks like it belongs more to a trendy, youth-focused brand than to a super high-end luxury brand.
I also agree with Rigor_Mortis that including a cheap, scratchy brush is inexcusable at this price point. If you’re paying $85 for a product, everything about it should feel rich and luxurious. If they couldn’t make a brush that lived up to that, it would have been better to leave the brush out entirely.
Oooooh this looks pretty! Love the zebra print by the way 🙂 Sisley blushes always do well with me.
What’s your favorite one?
This is gorgeous on you!
Thanks, Fancie!
The makeup look in this post is stunning. I can’t wait to see more sisley products!
Thanks a lot, Alexandria!
Again, not a colour for me (peach and coral are not flattering for me) but WHEW, I’m glad since the price for this is more than bit “OTT”.
Ahh, you’re safe 🙂
It’s a pretty look, and it looks great on you, as everything does! But I don’t get why Sisley is so darn expensive. It doesn’t seem like it’s better quality than other brands.
I know that part of it is that their makeup is designed to have skincare benefits/use ingredients designed to improve the skin etc. Whether it’s true or not, it’s supposed to “do more” in a sense.
You look great! The cheek with that lip..perfect!
Thanks, Wendy!
The case reminds me of a wet n wild blush haha.
I could see that!
wow this is so pretty i gasped and almost cried. that’s healthy right?
Aww!
I love the packaging, I love that it’s a “skin care driven brand”, and it looks really good on you!
Thank you!!
oh my goodness! you look even more gorgeous than usual. this blush is so pretty on you!
Thanks a lot, Beka! 🙂
Wow, $85! For that price it better turn me into Miranda Kerr! It does look nice on you, though 🙂
It would be nice!
I cannot with the price tag, omg.
It is definitely expensive!
It’a a lovely sophisticated color and finish, but not sure it’s worth that much!
It’s nice, but since it’s not 100% perfect for me, that’s what I’d want at this price point!
This color looks so pretty and sweet on you, Christine!
I personally love this blush formula, it is very finely milled and truly transforms your cheeks having “glow from within” finish. I also find it very pigmented and truly long lasting. It stays put on me the whole day without fading or changing its original color which is very important for me. I was at first devastated with the price range, but given their performance these blushes are totally worth the money.
Happy to hear you’re really loving the formula, Jangsty! Do you have this shade or another one? Which is your favorite?
I have 2 Pinky Berry which is the most beautiful berry blush that I’ve come across. It is my must have staple for any autumn season. You should definitely check this out, it would look gorgeous on your skin tone, Christine!
This is such a beautiful colour and looks like it goes on really smoothly.
It is very nice on the skin!
This blush looks ah-may-zing on you, Christine! Wow! 🙂
Does it make me a silly person that I want to buy pretty much anything with mango in the name? I love mango so much…mmm…mango… *drools*
I love me some mango, too 😉
If I was the type of person that would be happy with one coral blush and one berry colored blush, I could see freely spending that amount for it.
But the joys of beauty is, there are blushes out there for everyone and at every price point.
I could probably wear Tom Ford Lovelust every day and be happy… and so I would never feel bad about paying the price. Though it’s unlikely I would ever choose to do so, knowing I like my options, LOL!
This looks just as gorgeous in the pan as it does on! I just wish that the packaging looked like the product cost $85.
Aww!
That looks so lovely on you. I might have to check it out. I try to stay away from these kinds of blushes because they make my face look warmer, but this is just too pretty!
It’s quite subtle – not too warm, and more peachy, which I think often works well on those who don’t like super warm blushes.
It looks amazing on you! Anyways, the packaging reminds me of wet and wild. And for $85 i wouldnt even buy a geurlain blush
