Mellan just enjoying the sunny weather we had yesterday!
Haul: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow in Chocolate (love love LOVE), Tarte Maracuja Oil, Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hr Blush in Blissful… not sure how I feel about this formula, actually; I’ve been meaning to try out a Tarte blush but held back because they swatch terribly in-store and that indicated to me that they dried out fast. Tarte LipSurgence in Tipsy.
Weekend plans: Going outside on Saturday because it’s supposed to be gorgeous! Other than that, I’m taking it by ear.
Favorite pair of shoes?: My prize pair of sparkly Jimmy Choos that I originally bought for my wedding.
I keep hearing great things about Dipbrow!
It’s worth it! Just… build up the color really slowly and lightly and it’s all good. 🙂
Also I should probably add to my haul since I picked a couple of things up today: Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer and Le Creme Blush de Chanel in 69 Intonation.
Haul: Just a great big bottle of See Eau Fraiche by Chloe. I absolutely LOVE it.
Weekend plans: nothing at all, which feels wonderful! I’m going to read, go to the gym, go to yoga and let hubby take me out for dinners (he’s going away next week so I guess he feels he should spoil me a bit!)
Favourite pair of shoes? Oh dear…this is a tough one but probably the black satin dress pumps with big chiffon bows on the front that I got for dressy occasions. They are gorgeous AND comfortable (I had knee surgery a few years ago and have to be really careful with heel height; these are absolutely perfect)

Weekend plans: Going for a drink with my friend tonight, then tomorrow and Sunday will be with the boyfriend spending lots of time in the garden as its going to be a sunny one again woo!

in Playful, Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer and Glamoflauge Lite Duo Concealer in Ultra Light (my pale oliver shade match. *__* ).
Weekend plans: O__o wig styling!!!
Favorite pair of shoes?: Women’s Claire Scrunch Flat from the dexflex comfort line of Payless, I own the black ones. We only get 4 shade up here in Canada and I want more. lol Their the only flat that work with my “weird” foot shape as well (wide forefoot and tiny heel).
It’s so strange to see lush grass right now in another part of the world, because for me we are buried under 4′-6′ of snow still up here in Ontario. lol

Haul: My Suqqu cheek brush arrived! It is everything I hoped it would be.
Weekend plans: My wife will be out of town this weekend, so I’m going to relax, sleep a lot, maybe go play with makeup at Sephora 🙂
Favorite shoes: My wedding shoes are my favorite too! Cole Haan pumps in a champagne color.

shoes-an old pair of Reef flip flops that I wear everywhere around the house. They aren’t pretty ,but it’s like being barefoot because they are so comfortable. I love all of my designer sandals and boots, but I wouldn’t say any of them are my favorites.
Sometimes the best shoes are the most comfy 🙂

Haul: Estee Lauder pure color envy sculpting lipstick in 5 different shades. So the rave reviews were spot on and I am just so freaking ecstatic with these lipsticks! I grabbed a few nudes, but I love the brighter shades in this formula: Dominant, Infamous and Defiant Coral are my top picks from my haul.
Weekend Plans: tackle my closet. It’s time for me to seriously purge again. I hate clutter, but I have very distinct collecting/hoarding tendencies and have a tough time parting with my belongings..especially any good quality pieces of clothing/accessories even if I am not wearing or using them.
Favourite pair of shoes: I rarely wear shoes and gravitate to booties/shoeties. My Rag and Bone Harrow booties in light grey with natural stacked heel.

Haul: I received my Ipsy bag earlier this week. It was a bunch of very colorful eyeshadows and a pink lipstick, so I’ll probably be gifting most of it to my daughter.
■Weekend plans: we had sheetrock work done to the house, so we’ll be cleaning up all of the silt tomorrow at least.
■Favorite pair of shoes?: I love my Merrell clogs – boring, but very comfortable!

Haul – Let’s see, I just picked up a few things this week. I got some Fyrinnae samples in – Freya, Fireside Interlude, Sacred, Picture It: Sicily, Velvet Vampire, Lucky Charmed, and some Pixie Epoxy. I also picked up a few Sally Hansen Insta Gel nail strips. They work a lot better than I expected!
Weekend plans – Just hang out here! The kids will probably have friends over, and I need to do some sewing. Maybe figure out a lighting setup so I can work on makeup tutorials.
Favorite pair of shoes – Right now, my brown leather slouchy boots! I wear them EVERYWHERE – they are so cute and comfortable! Like Gypsy shoes!

I’m on a strict budget lately, so this week’s haul is NARS light reflecting pressed powder and POSSIBLY Mekong eyeshadow.
On Saturday I’m going to my local NARS counter for a one on one to play with their face products, then I have to stop in at the in-laws. After that, mostly video games and laundry. If the weather gets nice again, I’ll set up my archery range for the day.
My favourite shoes are a pair of slouchy tan suede mid calf boots with sort of a fringe whip at the outside top. Comfy as EFF and until recently the closest I have to cowboy boots. They’re close to the end unfortunately.

Haul: NARS Wicked, and I’m waiting on Night Fairy, Night Rider, & Mad Mad World. I’m also still waiting on my package from NARS… it’s been nearly 2 weeks! I also picked up some random SinfulmColors polishes, Revlon Elegant, Grey Suede (love!!!), & Gold Coin (which has been on my list since you reviewed it, LOL!), NYX Skintone & White eye bases, & a pale nude Maybelline lip gloss from the Summer collection (I can’t make out the name on the bottom). I also grabbed a bottle of Aussie Kids Detangler Spray for my daughter, and it is *literally* HG! We’ve tried just about everything on the market over the past 5+ years, from the cheapest to very expensive, kids & adult, but nothing was perfect, until imgrabbed this on a whim!
Plans: Going to the mall; my little one decided out of the blue that she wants her ears pierced, but we’ll see if she actually goes through with it… She’s backed out the last few times.
Favorite Shoes: A pair of jump boots I’ve had for over 20 years… They’re broken in just right, and have a great deal of sentimental value. I have a ton of memories attached to them!

Haul: Sephora- MUFE HD Foundation. Finally trying it out. I find it is very similar to UD Naked- my favorite foundation!! I needed a new foundation because we went on vacation and I got a few shades darker 🙂 so I decided to try out a new one this time! Loving it. Ulta- Too Faced Bonjour Soleil Summer Bronzing Wardrobe. Looks so pretty and I’ve wanted to try the TF bronzers for a while now. Mac: LS in Snapdragon and Sassy Moss Fluidline.
Weekend plans: Finish the NEVER ENDING laundry and rest- hopefully!
Favorite pair of shoes: Hmm… I’m not sure I have any ATM. Love my Uggs, but not because of how they look.. lol. They’re so cozy!!

Hi I used to use Olay and Estee Laudee but now I’m trying an Avon Anew Skinvincible lotion with spf 50 because of my tropical climate. Have to be so careful with my cystic acne.

Haul: Just a Smith’s Rosebud Salve to replace the one I lost. I usually wear it every night to bed, and now that I haven’t used it in a few days, I can definitely tell the difference.
Weekend Plans: Homework tomorrow, Knotts Berry Farm on Sunday for the boyf’s friend’s bday.
Favorite Pair of Shoes: Right now, its the Mossimo Vonetta Studded Smoker Flat in leopard (listed as “brown” on target website though).

Haul: I ordered a Ciate foil set that was on sale at Sephora, but when I got it Monday, the polish had leaked. I returned it to my closest store and reordered the set. I’m suppose to get it today. Fingers crossed! Also ordered Nails Inc. polish in Baker Street.
Plans: Same old, same old, but I love being with my son. He’s walking great now so we plan to let him loose at Ikea. That should interesting!
Shoes: Um, my houndstooth slip-ons? I’m not a shoe girl. I own more now than I ever did COMBINED in my life, but they are all Converse and slip-ons.

Weekend plans: Bathroom planning tomorrow morning, cinema (Saving Mr. Banks) in the lake afternoon and meeting with a carpenter on Sunday afternoon. Seems like a busy weekend.

■Haul: Three of the spring 2014 Maybelline Color Tattoos, yet another pair of Karmen pumps from Payless (turquoise, SO PUMPED! No pun intended :D), and some skirts from Forever 21.
■Weekend plans: A St. Paddy’s/Housewarming party tomorrow!
■Favorite pair of shoes?: Hmm… I’m not crazy about shoes, my obsession is with makeup… LOL! If I had to pick one, I’d say Payless’ Karmen pumps. They are cheap, not too high, sooo comfy, they make them in many colors and for wide feet and I have them in 7 colors (just bought the turquoise ones, as mentioned above!), so I guess that makes them a thing for me!

Favorite pair of shoes?: I LOVE THEM ALL, but my favorite is probably a pair of leopard print pumps from Aldo. Painful as hell but so pretty!

My haul and weekend plans revolve around my mum’s birthday. I know I’m getting her a perfume (the decision will be based on the last second sniff test) but trying to figure out what else to get her is driving me nutty. She never spends money on herself so I’m going to have to restock some basics with nicer stuff but I’m still clueless.

Haul: Been naughty again : I ordered two more Givenchy le rouge lipsticks which arrived on Thursday and I also bought a Bobbi Brown high shimmer lip gloss in bronzed heather (based on one of your reviews Christine) and am loving that. (Those lip glosses last a long time don’t they?!).
Weekend plans: Have all been cancelled. Here in NZ we have a tropical cyclone hitting the country with flooding and wind gusts up to 120km expected . Its already pretty wild out there and its only just started. Eep! So we are battening down the hatches. Poxy weather!
Favourite pair of shoes: Hmm, well I have two: Like one of your other readers, my reef flip-flops are just wonderful for schlepping around in. For dressier occasions, a pair of Manolo’s (brown, court shoe) that I bought in Hawaii on sale that was so reasonably priced that it would have been rude not to buy it. They look really nice and are actually really comfy.
Love the pic of Mellan, he looks so placid. My two boys (sheltie and a cavalier king charles) are curled up next to me having a snooze, they look so cute!
Yup! The Bobbi Brown glosses are 0.24 fl. oz. I believe, which is larger than the average gloss 🙂

Weekend plans…. Not much. I might to go to the gym with my friend for the second time this week/in my entire life. I get in for free with her deluxe package, so…why not? Hahaha.

Haul: Revlon Electric Chrome Polish (Spiderman) in the pinkish purplish color and the dark blue, Revlon Electric Chrome pink gloss (unsure about names);Revlon Rio Rush lipsticks in Sultry Samba and Carnival Spirit,and Rio Rush Exotique eyeshadow quad (I love every purchase from the collection); OPI Glitter Off; Physician’s Formula mascara; Essence Mascara; NYX under eye concealer; Urban Decay Electric Nail Polish Trio. Also, got a new comforter and TV stand.
Plans for the weekend: The husband and I are doing some big Spring cleaning tomorrow. I will hopefully get a mani/pedi done sometime this weekend. Also plan on finding some of Sally Hansen’s new collections.

Didn’t haul anything this week, though I got an Ulta ad with all the beauty deals in it, so I am planning for the future… And there is only one BnBW foaming handsoap in my life: the gingerbread one.
I have a St Patrick’s Day party tomorrow. It’s supposed to be like 46 and raining, and then a high in the upper 20s on Sunday…and sadly, that’s an improvement from the past couple of months. Worst winter ever.
I like my silver ballet flats, though I’m not a big shoe person. I actually like my everyday kicks, they’re gray and hot pink Nikes.
You must stock up a lot during the holidays then 😉 The only one I keep repurchasing is Kitchen Lemon, because I like that scent for the kitchen, lol!
I bought four last december! I tend to get away with a bit of dish soap for my hands in the kitchen, since my skin’s not too dry and we’ve got a dishwasher for most of the washing.
Haul: I went back for Dior fusion mono Millenium (love!!) and I also got another lip glow in pink (I love this balm); Formula X in Orion’s Belt (it’s simply amazing, in the right light, it sparkles like diamonds on my tips); FAB lip therapy, FAB oatmeal mask; Laura Mercier secret camouflage SC2 (I decided to give it another try. I had it a few years ago, when I didn’t know much about matching myself and the MA recommended the wrong color for me SC3, too dark. I never used it because it looked terrible and it just dried out). I guess my big purchase was Tom Ford’s Cocoa Mirage quad… Yeah, I still think it’s way overpriced (no one needs that much eyeshadow, especially when they have a big collection), but since it comes with so many bells and whistles from everyone that owns it, I decided I’ll give it a try (it wasn’t delivered yet).
Weekend plans: Well, we just bought a 2005 Mustang convertible (red) and we’ll take it for a ride :). I’ve never had a convertible before. Last night we drive through downtown Atlanta with the top down and it was so much fun!
Favorite pair of shoes? Gosh… I have so many and I love them all… If I had to pick one, it would be my BCBGeneration gunmetal 4.5″ heels… They are the most comfortable heels I own and I got more compliments on them than on any of my other shoes. I’ve worn them so much, they had to be retired (still in my closet). Best thing about them, I bought them years ago at a Dillard’s Clearance Store in Florida for only $23 :).

Unfortunately, I struck out with the TF quad. I must have gotten one from a bad batch, because it is quite the opposite of everything I’ve heard about it: it’s powdery, almost chalky, the cream and darkest brown shade are the worst matte shadows I’ve ever swatched… I’m returning it tomorrow. Maybe I’ll order it from a different retailer (I got this one form Nordstrom) because I’ve never heard any complaints about it from anyone…
Haul, nothing!, Nothing! Hard to beleive, but true.
Plan for this weekend would be taking care of a budding cold.
My favourite shoes, now that is one hard question to answer… Right now when it’s wintery outside it’s my sturdy leather boots. They look a bit like toned down Doc Martens, works with everything and they are comfy.

I’ve ordered a ridiculous amount of stuff online this week, but none of it has arrived yet. 🙁 Waiting on a Lorac “The Stylist” palette, The Balm “Bon Jovi” palette, a few things from ELF, and a couple of Wet ‘n Wild palettes off of eBay. All of these–except for the ELF–are lines I’ve never tried before (ie. not easily found in Canada) so I’m anxious to try them all out! 🙂
Weekend plans: supposed to be rainy all weekend so just hanging out at home today with my boy. Tomorrow we’re going to Butchart Gardens for afternoon tea and hopefully a wander around the gardens for a bit if the weather isn’t too terrible. I’ll take the rain over the snow any day though!
Favourite shoes? Don’t really have any ATM. I prefer going barefoot whenever possible so shoes are more of a necessity than a pleasure for me anyways. If I had to choose, I suppose I’d say my red, mary jane Groundhogs–they’re comfy AND my favourite colour. Now, new handbags…that’s what floats my boat! 😉

Haul: a whole bunch of Nivea lip balm – can’t live without it when I have a cold!
Weekend plans: well, it was going to be ballet as usual, but now it’s ‘get over cold’ and ‘avoid going out because there is literally a cyclone going on!
Favourite Pair of Shoes: my wedding shoes 🙂 Which are silver filigree leather, I should mention. Either that or a pair of sapphire blue satin ballet flats with blue crystals all over them 🙂 High fives for blinging your shoes, Christine!

Haul: I got my Nars creamy concealer and Pressed powder on Thursday. I’m loving the concealer so far, looks natural and no creasing! The powder I’m not so sure about, it seems to have a film on it that I’m trying to buff away and as I buff it goes from matte to a slight sheen, we’ll see how it works after that!
Weekend plans: I’m having some friends over for drinks tonight so that should be fun!
