I have so many gorgeous powder blushes, so I’ve been reluctant to start buying cream blushes. However, my skin is on the dry side, and I’m close to being in my mid-thirties, so I’ve really been thinking about cream blushes. I’m afraid I will love them, and my whole collection of powder blushes will collect dust..lol. 😉

It does depend on skin tone for the idea of “natural,” since most cream blushes can be sheered out a lot, even deeper shades can look natural if applied lightly! Something that’s not too warm or cool will likely look the most natural (e.g. MAC Ladyblush). Chanel’s the longest wearing on me out of these, with Illamasqua’s coming in a little after.

I typically wear cream blush in winter until early spring. My choice would be Illamasqua Seduce.
I’ve been meaning to try Illamasqua’s Velvet Blusher, but I already own several dupes of both shades they have… 🙁

I love MAC Brit Wit for a natural flush, and NARS Multiple in Maldives for something more dramatic. I love the Multiple formula, and I’m looking at a few other shades to add to my collection. Between having drier skin, and being an avid user of sunscreen (which needs to be reapplied often), I’m finding cream blushes, highlighters, and contour products to be the most conducive.

Le Metier de Beaute Coral Nymph! Just to be fair though, I wear that one pretty much all year round 🙂 I’ve also been using Chanel Affinite so much that I managed to break the compact a little!

I’m not a big fan of cream blushes. I have 2 (both LE from Clarins) though oddly enough, I was looking at some “cheapies” from Joe Fresh and came close to buying one but couldn’t decide between Hydrangea and the other one, which was a bright pink but I forget the name. Perhaps I should break out the ones I have and give them a whirl in the next little while though, to be honest, I find powder blush so much easier and quicker.

I just got the Clinique cheek pop in ‘plum’. Its a creamier texture and is amazingly long lasting. I bought it purely because it was a pretty flower but its actually a great blush and I cant wait to use it more as spring approaches. Still looking for the perfect brush to apply it thought…

I bought it on an adventurous whim and wasn’t sure how it would look because it’s so ridiculous light-Barbie-pink in the pot, but YSL Creme de Blush 09 Babydoll is just the BEST. It applies more naturally than you’d think, and topping it off with a dusting of Hourglass Ethereal Glow is just the spring-iest!

These all look so pretty! I never seem to have the best luck with cream blushes. They either fade on me or look like circles on my cheeks by the end of the day.

I wasn’t a fan of cream blushes before, mainly because I have combination-oily skin, and was afraid that they will just slide of my cheeks.. But, ever since I discovered Chanel’s Le Blush Creme… Well, you know how that went, Christine. 😀

My favorites are:
1) Chamade
2) Fantastic
3) Intonation
4) Presage
5) Revelation

I love my Chanel Inspiration and sad they have now discontinued it. It’s such a lovely soft rosy pink color. Just a little will do to make a nice natural rose flush on the cheeks.

Is Chanel Inspiration perm? I haven’t seen it around for a while now. I just picked up Intonation last weekend and I’m loving it!

I was also a bit surprised at how much the foundation impacts blush wear. I was using GA Maestro and had problems with some of my favorite blushes fading away halfway through the day but now that I’ve switched to GA Lasting Silk I can still see a good amount of color when I get home from work at the end of the day, and I’m able to get away with more colors that used to emphasize my redness.

Last weekend I managed to get CHANEL PRESAGE and you know whyyy 😀
i have bookmarked your TOP 10 roundup and as and when I get a chance I pick few stuff 😀 and my goshhhhhh now i want to kill myself for not buying it earlier :d
it is so damn gorgeous 😀
from the list here I have ILLAMASQUA seduce and its so beautiful on Indian skin 😀
loveeeeee five ways and not at all sorry for repeating it 😀

now am in neutral phase …. you think I should buy CHAMADE ? any other color in cream formula

I generally prefer powder bronzers and blushes, especially where one product can do double duty as a bronzer and a blush, but I do like Illamasqua Lies, a light pink cream, used mostly as a highlighter.

I love cream blush. I bought The Balm’s cream blush (apples) since I figured it would last longer on my dry skin that it did on yours. So far I really like it and love all the options in one handy palette. I use my fingers and it just melts into my skin and looks very natural whereas some powder blushes just seem to sit on top of my skin. I am glad so many companies are making cream blushes.

Theres nothing i love more than cream blushes, or cream anything for that matter. And i really really want to get into the illamasqua ones, but i just cant. I’ve seen several rants and pictures of the illamasqua blushes having mold on them. It makes me cringe just thinking about it.
