Milani Delizioso Pink (10) Baked Powder Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
Milani Delizioso Pink (10) Baked Powder Blush
Milani Delizioso Pink (10) Baked Powder Blush ($7.99 for 0.12 oz.) is a cool-toned, light-medium pink with strong blue undertones and a mostly matte finish. Tarte Dollface (P, $26.00) is lighter, less blue-based. Urban Decay Quickie (LE) is brighter. MAC Pure Femininity (LE, $20.00) is pinker. MAC Peony Petal (LE, $21.00) is darker. See comparison swatches.
This is one of two (the second I will be reviewing shortly!) new, matte blushes for spring. It’s intensely pigmented, so you’ll want to reach for less dense brushes and use a lighter hand if you tend to be heavy handed with blush and/or you have a fairer complexion. On my medium skin tone, just knowing not to go full-force with the blush brush yielded a soft, natural application that was just enough to show up on my skin tone. I would expect this to show up more blue-based if you have naturally cooler undertones, but even my warmer complexion didn’t completely swallow up the undertones of this one (which I like!). The texture is incredibly soft and finely-milled, and the blush blends fairly well, though it’s not the most blendable formula. I would make sure to go with a softer application, then build up the color, rather than rely on blending it away. It wore well for eight hours, which was a surprise, given it is a baked formula, before it showed signs of fading.

Looks really fresh on your complexion! 😀
I’m always fascinated by closeups of products – like especially the surfaces of blushes and eyeshadows and things… *stares at closeup photo* 🙂
Haha! As long as you don’t tell me it looks like food, I’m okay.
This looks so pretty and spring-like! I wish they’d expand the shade range to include more matte or satin shades, as those are certainly easy to wear.
Plus, it would just make the range more diverse!
Fingers crossed they would, especially since the first two seem to get an overwhelmingly positive feedback so far! 😀
So pretty!!
What lipstick are you wearing here Christine? Looks lovely on you!
Xx
Hi Amayah!
Thank you! It’s listed right below the last photo in the post — here it is:

On face: Guerlain Parure de Lumiere Foundation, Kevyn Aucoin The Celestial Liquid Highlighter (mixed with foundation), Urban Decay Naked Loose Finishing Powder. On lips: Revlon Elusive Matte Balm.
Oh my gosh, I love the whole look, the whole pink vibe! =D sooo good, Sooo fresh! ;p as Sylirael put it! 😉
That blush really suits your colouring.
Thanks!
Beautiful blush! May I ask you what is on your lips?

Thank you!!!:)
I’ve realllllly been enjoying Milani’s drugstore offerings so far – the Color Statement Lipsticks completely blew my mind and I wear one almost everyday. These new blushes look equally lovely and I’m quite excited for the other one – Bella Rosa – as I think that that one may have more of an impact on my darker skintone. Eagerly awaiting your review Christine!
What are your top… five favorite Color Statement shades?
Definitely Sangria, Uptown Mauve, Naturally Chic, High Voltage and Teddy Bare! (Not forgetting Violet Volt for a little something-something extra when I’m feeling courageous!) 😀
Thank you!! I will have to make sure to try these 🙂
How does this compare with Kevin Aucoin’s Shadore?
Sorry, I don’t have that!
Wow! What a steal! This looks great on you Christine! Especially with that lipstick. Would you say this is comparable at all to MAC Briar Rose?
Briar Rose is lighter, less blue-based.
I love how these are such wonderful options at a drugstore price. I will definitely be checking this one out.
It’s a great option for anyone who’s looking to save a little on their blush!
Very cute! I’m always drawn to these shades, but I don’t reach for them as much. Maybe I should dig out my MAC Peony Petal blush for the spring!
You totally should, Danielle!
I like this one too! I think the other one i like a touch more, but they’re both really nice shades.
Bolder blush for you, eh? 🙂
Hyyyesss we need more matte blushes like this, I like it!
Woohoo!
Very pretty!
Such a fun spring shade!
Now, to actually *find* this one in stores…
I don’t have anything quite so “pink”, and at this pricepoint, I think it’s worth a try. Not that I need any more blush, but it’s different enough to justify picking it up, yet it still falls in within my preferred range. Plus, I like that it doesn’t seem like more “traditional” matte finishes, which can look a bit flat.
Yes, the finding may be harder given it is Milani if you’re looking in-store!
Since Target replaced Milani with NYX, it’s been a bit HTF. However, my local Walgreen’s appears to be revamping the cosmetics section, and getying more stuff, so fingers crossed!
My gosh! It looks like a cream product in the swatches! I need this in my life…
Hope you can find it locally!
This is so pretty and did last longer than the usual baked formulas. Pleasant surprise indeed!!!
So true 😀
Christine, because this is “baked”, does it tend to dry your skin like MAC’s Mineralize line?
MAC’s Mineralize Blushes/Skinfinishes don’t dry out my skin, though they tend to emphasize pores and fade faster on me. I think this blush is a lot smoother, and it definitely wears better on me – plus, no pigmentation problems! Hope that helps! xo
Got it, thank you! And sorry about that-thought you found Mineralize drying like I do sometimes! I must give this a try! 🙂
No worries! The MSF Natural seemed to have given me milia back in the day, and it’s possible the others did too, but MSFN was the only product I wore long enough to be sure. I don’t have problems with milia any more (and haven’t for some years), so it’s equally possible that no products did it!
Please do tell how you got rid of the milia! Pretty please! Not a concern at this time, but who knows! 😉
Hey Abigail!
My doctor prescribed Differin (also available in generic, which is what I use), and that took care of it for me!
I’m surprised how cool that is and yet it looks amazing on you!
Thank you!
Oh, I just love your reviews! I picked up Bella Rosa a couple of hours ago. It is beautiful! It took a fair amount of restraint not to wash off all my current makeup in order to try it on right away. 😉 I would have brought this one home with me too if it had been in stock. It looks so pretty on you, Christine.
Aww, thanks so much, Portia! Hope you love it.
When/where are these available? I need both! Thanks! x
Some readers have found them locally already, but I don’t have an official release date!
Oh my goodness. This blush is so on my to-buy list! I would love to see more shades in the matte range and something more in the coral family/warmer shades as opposed to this extreme end of pink. It’s such a beautiful colour though and looks amazing on you!
So far, just two shades, but hopefully they’ll release more!
This looks like a slightly less blue version of Chanel’s very famous and long-gone Turbulent Joues Contraste, Lisa Eldridge’s favourite blush ever. (Also supposedly similar to Bobbi Brown Pale Pink.)
I need it.
That’s so great to know! Thanks for sharing, Adriana!
Would Clinique’s Plum Pop be a good alternative for this on neutral/warm skin?
Either one would work, really, but plum can be easier to wear than cool pink!
You look radiant as ever in this pic! 🙂
Thanks, Maddie!
Christine, does this look anything like Down Boy from theBalm?
Down Boy is more muted, slightly darker!
