5 Valentine's Day Makeup Looks

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Are you going with a special look for Valentine’s day this year? I tend to opt for Chanel Dragon as my go-to special occasion look, including Valentine’s Day.  I’m still undecided about this year, but here are five looks I’ve created that were inspired the holiday!

  1. Pinks & Purples
  2. Pinks & Browns
  3. Neutral Eyes & Red Lips
  4. Peach & Plum
  5. Neutral Eyes & Pink Lips

Would love for you to share your look in the comments!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Love these! Christine I noticed that you don’t use liner on your top lashes very often, is that to keep a more neutral/day look or just personal preference? I’ve been trying to find a lasting gel liner that doesn’t get thick and cakey after a while of use. Any suggestions?

I went for an Anti-Valentines day look of black smokey eyes with Lavender Whip on the lips. On my nails is OPI Houston We Have a Purple, which the husband says looks like deoxygenated blood. lol.

I love the Apollo 13 mission. Hell yes they have a problem! When my day is going bad I think of how I COULD be floating in space with oxygen leaking from the ship. Best of all everyone gets home safe.

I wore MUFE 75 (hot pink) in the out corner, stars and rockets on the middle third, and pink opal pigment on the inner third. There also black liner n my upper lid on maraca and I forget what I used to highlight but, its super pretty and I love it

Funny, I planned to wear neutral eye shadow with long black cat-eyed eyeliner, Margin on cheeks and Chanel Dragon on lips.
But since I just bought Chanel Ming, finally I wore Ming on lips, purple-plum on eyes and Cargo HD Blush/Highlighter (the pink one) on cheeks last night.

I ended up doing Peach and Plum today, with UD X all over the lid, MAC Star Violet on outer third and corner, MAC Sketch on crease just to deepen a little bit, MAC Ricepaper as highlight. I used MAC Gingerly as blush and MAC Captive + MAC Twig as lipsticks. How about that?
