When I saw this post I thought these shadows are gorgeous then I realized silver is the colour I own the least of..think I need to get some soon:)

I don’t know if you’re still looking for ideas for these, but what about gunmetal? It’s one of my favorite colors for makeup, but it doesn’t fall into silver in my opinion.

Greys & silvers are my 2nd favorite eyeshadow shade after purples/eggplants! For pure silvers, I’d choose Chanel’s Smoky Eye Quad (which also has a lovely gunmetal grey).  For unusual silvers, Melusine I which is a silvery lilac.  I really, *really* wanted to get UD’s Strip and S&M (esp. Strip which is simply gorgeous) but the day I went to get them from Sephora, they were sold out and that afternoon was UD’s China announcement, so…..  <mournful sigh>

As someone who is pretty much indifferent to silver eyeshadow, I can’t really say that I have a “favorite”. I happen to have *alot*, ranging from silvery-white (KvD Holy Bible) to deep gunmetal (UD Barracuda), but I don’t wear any of them often. If I do chhose a silver-like shadow, I opt for something like the lighter side of NARS Melusine, which is more of a “warmed-over”, lilac-silver. I also like the two shades of NARS Tzarine mixed together, as the gold side lightens & warms up the gunmetal side.

Have you tried the silver shadow from Tarte’s “True Blood” palette? It’s the most amazing silver I’ve ever seen.
