5 Polish Picks for the Holidays

5 Polish Picks for the Holidays

I tried to pick five various shades, rather than five of one color, to show off the variety of holiday-esque polishes! 🙂

  1. China Glaze Cranberry Splash — brilliant bright red
  2. Illamasqua Swinger — antique gold
  3. Zoya Song — sparkling blue
  4. Butter London British Racing Green — deep, dark green
  5. Chanel Malice — deep, dark red

What’s your favorite polish for the holiday season?

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Oh wow perfect timing I have Zoya Song up for my next manicure! But how did I miss that Butter London polish, its GORG! Is it new for Holiday 2012?

I’m loving 2, 3, and 5. One of my favorites for this time of year is a CG polish from last year, Lorelai’s Tiara, because it makes me think of sparkling snow flakes, haha.

Beautiful choices! I just painted on Julep Sienna, a shimmery light gold, very similar to Illamasqua Swinger. This time of year, I also love RBL’s Poppy, Essie’s Beyond Cozy and Butter London’s Wallis. Trying to decide which one to wear to my hubby’s holiday party next weekend!

I’ve suddenly become obsessed with dark green nail polish (well, all nail polish, really-I took a hiatus of nearly 7 years, LOL), so ATM I’m loving Revlon Rain Forest, and Sinful Colors Winter Wonder & Nova.

The dark green you have here is sooo tempting, too!

I have Malice but I prefer Rouge Carat I think ( so much brighter and a true Holiday polish ), but among the 5 you chose Malice and Zoya Song which is really very pretty.

My top five for the holidays would be:

1. China Glaze Ruby Pumps (sparkling red)
2. Misa Red Pumps at the Nordstrom (amazing metallic red)
3. China Glaze Emerald Sparkle (sparkling emerald green)
4. OPI Glitzerland (a neutral gold foil that works great on fair skin)
5. China Glaze Tinsel Town (pretty dark silver with lots of glitter)

For gel polish, the last mani I had was a gorgeous solid gold sparkle, and I did an accent nail of ruby red sparkle. I’m thinking of doing it in reverse next time 🙂 Currently I have Hanukkah nails – bright royal blue, and then a silver accent nail with some multi-colored sparkle on top.
