5 More Positively Electric Eyeshadows
I couldn’t resist–there are too many fabulous bright shades to highlight! If you’re after a lot of brights, Make Up For Ever has a spectacular selection.
- Make Up For Ever #75 — dark pink with a matte finish
- Sugarpill Velocity — violet blue with a matte finish
- Make Up For Ever #171 — frosted chartreuse
- Illamasqua Hype — bright yellow with a matte finish
- Make Up For Ever #26 — magenta-purple with a matte finish
My NARS Caravaggio duo; that counts as one, right?
Yes it does! 🙂
It’s really odd what MUFE has done with the numbering on that chartreuse colour. I have it but it’s numbered as 57. Now, however, 57 is a totally different eyeshadow so um.. huh?? As for your question regarding keeping only one bright eyeshadow, hm… that’s a hard one. I love MUFE #26 (the Aqua Cream purple, not the powder magenta listed here) or the even more iridescently purple Sephora 24 hr waterproof eyeshadow pencil in Violet but I also *frequently* use the bright pink with gold shimmer Aqua Cream #6. I lurrrve that one. Then again, there is NARS Daphne, so….. Gah, please don’t make me choose just one! I won’t, I won’t, I won’t! ;P lol
I was going to go with Daphne, as well, but then I realized (for my “justification”, anyway) purple is a neutral, as well as red.
My Nars Outremer eyeshadow even if it’s hard to apply on my lids, I love Klein blue it’s just great.
Love all of those <3
Definitely Make Up For Ever #171 — frosted chartreuse!!! Such a beautiful, unique color! I would love to use this either on the inner portion of my eyelid, or as a unique inner corner highlight. All of the colors are gorgeous though, for sure!
Those are all great, especially the MUFE one. I’d probably go for green too, if I could only keep one bright eyeshadow.
