5 Holiday Nail Polishes
5 Holiday Nail Polishes
Not sure what to do for your nails this season? These are five of my favorites across the color range for festive nails! And if you’re looking for glittery polishes specifically, check out part one and part two of my favorites 🙂
- Cult Nails Iconic — berry red with red glitter flakes
- China Glaze Blue Year’s Eve — intense blue with shimmer
- Chanel Graphite — shimmering, metallic pewter gold
- OCC Cruising — yellow gold glitter
- China Glaze Tinsel Town — black base with silver shimmer and glitter
OPI’s ‘Designer… De Better’ it my favourite for this holiday season, it’s just so special!
I have Iconic. It’s really beautiful. 🙂
ChG Ruby Pumps!
Bought Tinsel Town today, polished my nails with it and it is so pretty. I love it!
I am currently rocking Tinsel Town. I loooooove it. My only issue is that it chips really easily but I think that is more because I didn’t wear it with a base coat than the actual formula
Chanel Graphite is on my nails right now and I couldn’t love it more! There’s nothing else like this color out there. I highly recommend trying it!
OPI Merry Midnight! It’s flakey and PURPLE!!! What’s not to love about a good purple? 🙂
I’m also in love with China Glaze Tinsel Town. I think it’s my favorite from the collections this holiday season!
OPI’s Crimson Carol has been my favorite Holiday red or red in general for 2 years straight. I never wore red before that.
I just did a holiday mani that I’m really impressed with – one coat of Zoya Isla, one coat of China Glaze Ruby Pumps. I have accent nails of China Glaze Love Marilyn on my left ring finger and right index and pinky fingers.
I think I’m going to do a half moon mani with Zoya Holly and Richelle for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Tinsel Town for the week after that, and Blue Year’s Eve for New Years. 🙂
I have some Snow Globe that I’m dying to throw over something but can’t decide what!
I have Iconic, so pretty! And the more I see Chanel’s Graphite, the more I want it!
I think of red, green, silver & gold as being “typical” holiday colors, so it’s nice to see some coming out that step out of the box–I loved wearing the Nicole by OPI holiday quartet (ok so it had red and gold and did add a green polish). Anything that sparkles gets my vote!
China Glaze Ruby Pumps & Zoya Ivanka are my favorites for Christmas. I’ve been getting nail compliments all day for my combo of Zoya Ivanka + Wet n Wild Party of Five Glitters
I love Butter London Knees Up and Come to Bed Red. Lovely colors.
<3 Blue Year's Eve. I've worn it 4 times since I got it!
Right now, I’m wearing Essie’s Luxeffects top coat “Set in Stones” (sparkly silver glitter) on my fingertips over OPI’s The Color to Watch purple polish over my entire nail. I can’t help staring at my nails because the silver glitter from Essie catches the light so brilliantly! I was lucky to find one bottle left at an Ulta Store earlier this week. I put two layers of the Essie glitter top coat to get a really densely packed area of glitter just on the tips and faded it up to the middle of my nail. It’s so pretty! After learning how to remove glitter polish so easily with the “foil technique” I read from another nail blog – I will be sporting more glitter polishes in the future! What a great little pick me up for the holidays. I love love LOVE my Essie “set in stones” !!!
Blue Year’s Eve looks like somthing I would wear.
I love:
China Glaze – Ring in the Red
China Glaze – Twinkle Lights (most PERFECT Christmas color EVER!!)
China Glaze — Tinseltown (not usually a fan of silvers but once this is on your nails it is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!)
I lovee these polishes!(: And by the way, how do you paint your nails so incredibly perfect? I have to know!
Great picks!
I vouch especially for Cult Nails Iconic – it’s so rich and it has flakies. Plus, if you put a layer of Cult Nails Hypnotize Me over it, you get an awesome purple. (I did it a while ago and blogged about it. One of my favourite layering combinations.)
How do you easily remove glitter nail polish? It takes me forever and it’s so frustrating to remove because they just won’t budge.. but it’s so pretty when it is on your nail… 🙂
