5 Very Berry Lipglosses
Finding a rich, deep pink or berry lipgloss that doesn’t settle into lip lines or look like a splotchy mess is harder than you’d think, but here are five of my top picks that won’t give you such a hard time! What are your favorite deep pink and berry lip glosses?
- Revlon Adorned — a bold, fuchsia-red
- Giorgio Armani #523 — a vivid, pink-red with cool undertones
- Marc Jacobs Beauty Studded Kiss — a shimmering, muted berry
- Illamasqua Belladonna — a muted, fuchsia pink
- NARS Mexican Rose — a soft, raspberry pink
I always thought berry pinks weren’t for me, but I discovered that the sheerer, warm ones work very well one me. Lovely selection, Christine!

Lollipops lipstick in Jolie Poupee is probably my favorite berry lipstick, it’s a cute raspberry color. And in lipgloss I really like this Revlon lipgloss in the color Berry Allure.

Hmm the only one I can think of for the moment is Guerlain Prune Zip! My gloss collection is pathetically small though, since I really only wear lipsticks (windy weather + hair pretty much all the way down my back and glosses are not a good combination)!
Totally understand! My hair is ridiculously long right now, so if it gets caught in gloss, it’s like a 20 foot long snake getting uncoiled from the gloss!
These are beautiful but Urban Decay Scandal is still my favorite!

I think the shade 186 Berry Persistant from L’oreal’s Colour Riche Wet Shine Stain line is a really nice berry!

Oh, you should. They’re so comparable to YSL glossy stains in terms of texture, application etc. Obviously, the YSL ones are more superior, especially in terms of ‘depth’ of colour, but I feel a lot less afraid of using my L’oreal stain than I do about my YSL one, haha. I just feel like the latter will finish too quickly even though it won’t.

I have to cast my vote for Clarins Raspberry Gloss Prodige. It’s a favourite and so pigmented that I often forego lipstick and just use the gloss.

I have Revlon Adorned, but I only wear it over pink or berry lipsticks. It’s a really pretty gloss!

I don’t think I actually own what I would call a ‘berry’ gloss, but I am very fond of my NYX butter gloss in Strawberry Parfait!
I own a lot less berry glosses than I anticipated!

1) Becca Ultimate Colour Gloss in Berry Twist
2) Burberry Lip Glow in Oxblood
3) Chanel Glossimer in Crushed Cherry, Jalousie, and Savage Grace

Belladonna is one of my all time favourite lip products! Illamasqua is not sold where I live, so I stocked up during the last sales on their website..I think I bought three of them!! 🙂

I’ve recently had great luck with Bite’s Honey Lip Laquer in Aurora- it’s a beautiful medium berry once applied. I had seen some bad reviews around about it, but tried it and found it to be really soothing and glossy, and it even tastes good.

Thanks, Christine! Now if you would only do a roundup of favorite coral lipsticks/glosses. I’m still searching for one that is not too light or too orange to suit my naturally pigmented lips and olive complexion.
I think I’ve done a couple, but I’ll definitely check to make sure! Otherwise, I recommend checking out the Swatch Gallery and browsing for corals that way 🙂
I have the same problem! I’m starting to think coral just isn’t going to work on my olive skin.
