The Summer Season: VS Makeup Be Mine Lipstick
VS Makeup Be Mine Perfect Lipstick ($12.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a creamy, brightened watermelon pink. It’s totally opaque, and it wears well–a nice three to four hours before it starts to fade. It has a soft, glossy sheen but no shimmer. VS Makeup Lipsticks are sleeper hits, in my opinion, because they really have amazing texture, color pay off, and wear.

Pictures can be deceiving so would you say this is a warm or cool toned pink in person?

Did VS repackage their lipsticks? I just bought Be Mine today and I noticed yours is in a silver tube and mine's in a black plastic one. The packaging seems kinda flimsy to me, but oh well. Be Mine is a gorgeous color and I wouldn't have ventured out into VS makeup if it weren't for your blog. Thanks, Christine!
Mine was a sample, so maybe that is why it looks different!

I have been lusting after this lipstick since this particular post showing it first went up...and still haven't gotten it. I'd like to go get it this weekend, but don't really know how well it would work with my coloring. I'm quite fair with warm undertones, I just don't know if this would look garish. Guess there is only one real way to find out!

sooo cute!! i normally don't opt for such strong shades as this, but since it's summer, i say bringg it on! xP i'd pair these lippies with a bold stroke of a waterproof liquid eyeliner and i'm so ready for summer!

Nah, Show Orchid is wayyy more fuchsia/purple!

VS makeup is totally underappreciated. I am a big fan of their glosses and their lip pencils are great too! I need to branch out and try a lipstick. Their eyeshadows have great pigment too!
I just wish their testers didn't look like hell on earth in-store :( I'm totally icked out by them, lol!

I agree, VS Lipsticks are wonderful. The colors are gorgeous (Scrumptious, a soft peach, is a fave) and I love the way they feel on the lips. Bonus: no scent or taste whatsoever!

Giulette is a lil' redder in its pink and has more of the gold sheen/shimmer - they are close!

So pretty! How would you say it compares to Laura Mercier's Hydrangea? The photos look very similar to me, and Hydrangea has been hard for me to get a hold of!
Hydrangea is darker, deeper. They are similar, but Hydrangea is definitely deeper and glossier!
