The Summer Season: Korres #45 Coral Lipstick

Korres #45 Coral Mango Butter Lipstick ($18.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a semi-sheer, glossy coral-orange lipstick with SPF 10 in it. It’s a soft, sheer shade, but it still gives lips enough color to pop. You can wear it alone or paired with heavier eye makeup, but it looks natural enough to be worn with little makeup as well. I also love how moisturizing and lightweight the lipstick feels on lips, and the SPF 10 in it is a nice little addition you don’t always find in lipstick!

Is this the right coral lipstick for you? Would you wear it?

The Summer Season is a series of posts featuring bright, vibrant shades of coral, orange, and pink lipsticks and lipglosses — all perfect for a summer of fun — that runs through July 2010.

AHH! I have to have this!
I’ve been into corals lately and the color is soo gorgeous, and I the shade looks beautiful on you!

  2. BAH! All the Mango Butter lipsticks you’ve featured so far look soooo, sooooooo gorgeous!! Sad I can’t wear any of them ’cause I’m allergic to the SPF. ;_;

Hey Christine, this is sooo pretty!! I cant find it on the sephora website, where can i buy it?

  4. Kathryn

I bought this lipstick last summer and it looks so much brighter on me because my lips are very pigmented and I have fair skin. I love the feel of Korres lipsticks!

How’s the lasting power of these?

  6. I love the look of this. Korres do really beautiful products. I like coral because it is a prettier version of a nude or pale lip and it is easier sometimes because the right shade illuminates the skin rather than making it wan like some nudes can.

  7. Gorgeous lipstick, it makes your lips look so juicy! :)

  8. Korres lipsticks look gorgeous but sadly this brand isn’t available in my country =(

Love Korres, and love this! The next time I head to Sephora, I wanna get this along with natural pink 😉 Most of my lip products are by MAC, but I need to explore more brands.

I really like that colour. Not sure if the SPF would be a problem though.. I find that lip products with chemical sunscreens can cause whiteheads around my lip line or can even sometimes cause my lips to feel really uncomfortable.
    I love the orangeness though!

This lipstick is featured in one of the Korres gift sets at Sephora. You get three lipsticks (full size!) for $21. I snagged this during the 15% sale.

This showed up as a much brighter color on me, but my lips are naturally more pigmented. I love all the colors in the set though.

I love this color. I just got it in the mail from Sephora and have been wearing it all weekend. It keeps my lips super moisturized as well.

this just might be the absolute perfect coral shade EVER! not too rich, not super sheer. LOVE!! if only it was a few bucks cheaper, i’d be running to sephora right now. 😛

  18. I have got one suggestion for your web page. It appears like right now there are a few cascading stylesheet problems while launching a selection of web pages within google chrome and firefox. It is operating okay in internet explorer. Probably you can double check this.
