MAC Port Red Lipstick ($14.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a gorgeous ruby red with gold sheen. I really love this shade, and it’s neck-and-neck with Queen’s Sin as one of MAC’s better red lipsticks. They aren’t identical, as Queen’s Sin is a little deeper, with more berry as an undertone and doesn’t have the same gold shimmer. I love the gold flecks that you see in this lipstick. Port Red isn’t too orange or too blue, it’s just that right shade of true red. Surprisingly, it was launched in May of 2008 (so you may have to do some hunting to find it, e.g. on eBay), but it’s an amazing shade of red for the holiday season as well.

Great color that I don’t have yet
this is my absolute favorite red! i love it by itself and sometimes layered with cult of cherry lipglass.
I love that shade but I have such a hard time wearing lipstick. I don’t think it works on me.
I love Port red! The only thing, is I’ve noticed it’s necessary to wear it with a liner, or it smudges a little.

This colour is nice and I remember it from Naughty Naucticals but i like Queens Sin better.
I have both Queens Sin and Port Red and I love Port Red the most. I just had it on today. It’s not too deep for my fair complexion and I like that it’s a true red. I would love if they would bring it back so I can buy a back-up.

I love red lipstick but think it looks better with brown eyes (like you). As I have blue/green eyes, more orange type reds look better like corals. But I love this on you!
