Philosophy Red Velvet Cake Lip Shine is a Fat-Free Treat!
Wednesday, November 19th, 2008

Philosophy’s Red Velvet Cake Lip Shine ($12.00) is one of Philosophy’s flavors for the holiday season. It smells very chocolaty, but almost like a spicy chocolate (though not too spicy!). It gives a smidgen of color (it deepens your natural pigmentation), lots of gloss (duh), and it’s a great way to keep your pucker look kissable without sticky gloss or rich lipstick. I find that the lip shines just work really well when I have down time or I’m just running errands. I mean, you just can’t kiss your boyfriend with lipstick and lipglass on–for one, mine doesn’t want all that on his lips; and second, it’ll still mess up my perfect color combination anyway!
Anyone with some brand new lip shines hanging around who doesn’t want them? Let me take them off your hands!

Oh my gosh! I am already a lip gloss freak and now I see red velvet cake, my favorite, lip gloss? Dying to buy this no matter the price!
For some mysterious reason, I keep reading the title as: "... is a Cat-Free Treat!" WELL, I should hope it is.
I would love it if you took some pics of you using some or one of these on your lips! I'm kind of curious to see how the Spicy Pear Cobbler looks worn. I don't believe I've ever had a lip gloss that strayed away from the norms (pinks, reds, browns, or clear).
Sounds delicious. I used to use Philosophy's lipgosses all the time, but I kind of forgot about them... until now. I'll have to go and pick this one up.
MAN!!I almost bought this at Sephora a few weeks ago but got Korres Pomegranate Lip Butter instead..TOTALLY regret that decision after the swatch!
