I can’t wait to see how they compare to regular paint pots. I do wish there were some less shimmery/frosty shades, though.

  2. Nikki

Finally, FINALLY I will get my hands on vintage selection and antique diamond! AND it’s released just in time for my birthday! Hurray!

  3. Valerie C.

I wish they did more pearl and less frosted. Buy I’ll buy Let’s Skate for sure.

  4. Virginia

These are already available on the MAC website!

  5. April

I can’t wait for a review of these! I’m really curious to see if there are any differences between these formulations and the originals. I also am really interested in the Violet shade… crossing my fingers that it’s a winner!

  7. I love the promo image with the big fluffy persian cat.

    • Bridget

I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed. My reaction was “meh paint pots… Ooooooh kittahs!!!!”

  8. Cecilia

ohh.. I’ve always wanted dangerous cuvee. Yea!!

    • Mariella

You might like it more than I did but I found it disappointing…too much glitter and not enough pigment in the base to balance it out.

  9. Savannah

I’m only interested in the olive and purple one. Loving that these are permanent, hopefully the formula is the same if not better.

  10. kp

    Jeez…where are the matte ones!?

  11. Mariella

Wow, it’s cool that they’re repromoting some of the paint pots from the ChamPale collection (I got, sort of loved but ended up returning Dangerous Cuvee; I hope I can resist the urge to buy it again – it was a combo of a too sheer base and too coarse glitter). I might try Vintage Selection or Chilled on Ice but first I’ll want to compare them to the Benefit CCEs that I have.

  12. Hazel

Yum. These looks scrumptious. I totally agree that matte formulations would be very welcome, too.

  13. Krista

Oh boy! I can finally use my paint pots liberally because I can buy more when they’re gone. :)

  14. t_zwiggy

Unless they have changed the formula, I’ll pass on these. The previous release of these shades were pure crap.

  15. Ingrid

Great news! I’m really excited and can’t wait for the swatches!

  16. Lark

The Holiday 2011 ones look the same. Champale is hard to tell without swatching, but if they messed up the one I’ve been regretting for three years MAC gets another black mark on its Naughty or Nice tally. I hate it when they change stuff.

  17. Rachel

I want to hug those cats!

  18. Caty

these are virtually the same as the classic paint pots. The formula has NOT been changed, it has simply passed the required testing to be labeled “Pro Longwear” and you know MAC is all about Pro Longwear right now 😛 😛 the repromoted colors look the same as they did before. I’m excited for the re-launch of Let’s Skate, that was one of my favorite paint pots.

  19. missed out on lets skate last time, can’t wait to snatch it up!

  20. Ashley

THRILLED to see Let’s skate added to the perm line up!!! so beautiful and unique

  21. Maritza

I must have Frozen Violet and Antique Diamond!

  22. Steph

Hmm, if they were going to repromote some paint pots as perm items, I wish they’d added in the Posh Paradise ones or some of the other past limited shades (or even past perm shades). The glittery ones are not the best IMO and once you have one you probably don’t need the rest. Oh well, maybe more shades will be added on later- it’s good to see the paint pot range growing again at least! :)

  23. Im not liking that so many of these are frosted. I wish they came out with more matte colors.

  24. kylie

    wait so these are permanent?

  25. These are available online now and I’m very tempted. I want the purple and green one, but I’ll wait to see these in person. Mac has been too iffy to buy site unseen. I don’t think Frozen Violet can compare to Armani’s Purpura or Chanel’s Illusoire, which I have and love. I may break down and get Epatant instead.

  26. Let’s Skate is calling my name. So pretty and pink. Must…get…now! :O

  27. Caroline

Love the promo picture, Pussy looks very snug & comfortable :)

  28. divinem (Melissa)

These paint pots are already up. A bit early, eh? I got mines!

  29. Shelly Salzman

I bought five of these paint pots and to tell the truth I like the fact that they have a shimmer. My paint pots get used to death so I’m thrilled that I got to purchase new ones.

  30. Nicole

Oh no, I bought Dangerous Cuvee when it was previously released. And I was so disappointed, because it creased fast and I wasn’t able to apply an even layer on my lid.

I hope MAC worked on the formular and I am looking foreward to read the first reviews.

  31. Julia

I have Chilled on Ice from a past collection and even when it was new, it was pretty awful. It looks terrible on the lids- it’s just random flecks of gold glitter. It was always a good primer, but I eventually stopped using it because it was so ugly on my eyes and now it’s gone mushy.

  32. Courtney K

I could use a new Blackground, but I’ve been generally disappointed with Prolongwear products, so I’ll want to test it out first.

  33. i’m kind of intrigued by vintage selection… i think i’ll have to try these out at the store but i’m fairly certain i’ll end up with at least one of these bad boys! 😀

  34. Neta

ooh I missed out on “Let’s skate” from last year’s holiday collection and been thinking on ordering it on ebay or something, but now they’re gonna repromote it?? awesomes!!

  35. Amy

I’m glad that these are permanent, I love paint pots! Any word if these will be replacing the older colours? Sorry if I missed that!

  36. Giselle Ibarra

Love love love paint pots. Just bought Lets skate, vintage selection and one more i forgot. but they are so great. I love a product i can just use my fingers with. Now as for them being pro longwear i have to see their longevity.

  37. Steph

Blackground rather tickles my fancy :)

  38. Erin

These are the exact same formula. It’s just a name change. Nothing new, other than the two new colours. These aren’t replacing the current colours. They’re just an addition to the current permanent lineup.
