There is fun in the sun, to be sure, but to the beach is more of a sensual state of mind – a pleasure we all feel near the sea. The girl and boy from Ipanema, from Cap D’Antibes to West Palm Beach…All around the world, the seaside has a romance, and a kind of golden, sexy alchemy we’re all drawn to. This collection encapsulates it, with a new, lapping-wave Lip-Pencil and High-Light Powder in coral shades, Nail Lacquer – A Scorcher! – Eye Shadow, Kohl, and Powder Blush to get away from it all effortlessly. OMG the packaging for this collection is absolutely adorable, its beyond perfect, and I thought the packaging for the Liberty to London collection was perfect, but this is too darn cute. I don’t think I want any of the blushes, didn’t like Hipness when it first came out and Get-Away Bronze doesn’t seem to be my kind of blush. But I will definitely be checking out the eyeshadow, the High-light Powder( really excited for that one)the lipstick and lipglass, soooooooooooo excited for this collection!!!!!

LoL I love seahorses!!! My whole room is beach themed….from teals, blues and greens to tons of sea shells and real sand from the Atlantic City beach lol I only wish the color of the packaging was different! I do like green and orange but with this theme I think a pretty blue and maybe a neutral to represent the sand may have went over better!

also, i have a question….what do you use lustredrops for? do you mix them w. liquid foundation or something?
you can use them for that.. but mostly people use them as a bronzer.. it only takes a little bit!!!! so they will last FOREVERRRRR!!!
I use them to highlight my cheekbones & and also use it after I’ve applied my foundation, I feel like you get a better glow by not mixing it with foundation.

WOW! This is the best packaging I’ve ever seen! I want it all just based on that, haha, but I REALLY want Sweet and Punchy, I am obsessed with green eyeshadow! I’m not loving that peach lipgloss but the other two look very promising. The high-light powder might be nice, too, as long as it’s not too orange on me. I will most likely end up getting things I wouldn’t otherwise based on that wicked packaging…dammit, MAC!

I love the seashells and seahorses motifs on the packaging. I know i want the In the Buff nailpolish and Float on By eye kohl because it is turquoise! The Marine Life Multi-Colour highlight powder is gorgeous!

As with many summer collections, I don’t see a lot to tempt me here (fair skin/ blue eyes/ black hair- not a really “beachy” combination). Firecracker sounds interesting and I love the Veluxe pearls as a rule. Maybe Marine Life. I have Hipness already and I love it. Might pick up that as a back-up for when mine runs out. Love the packaging.

I like the eye colors, but already own similar to most of it. Bronzy skin is not even an ideal I try to fake, so most of this theme goes right over my head. The packaging is adorable though!
