mac-pleasure-bomb-dupe-list

One shade that I routinely get asked for dupes is MAC Pleasure Bomb! It released in the last year, and it’s ultra matte finish makes it harder to dupe. I’ve pulled three possible dupes from our much longer list (you can check out the full list of dupes over at The Dupe List). I was torn between MAC Girl About Town and All Fired Up (both part of the permanent range), as neither is a perfect dupe (the first is cooler-toned, the latter too warm), but I think if you mix them, you can get really close for anyone looking to stay within MAC’s range.

how about Mac’s relentlessly red, i think it could be close.

  3. OCC Queen looks quite close. We are still waiting for MAC to launch the Riri Hearts Holiday Collection in India. :(

Mixing Ruby Woo and Candy Yum Yum gives an exact dupe of Pleasure Bomb

  6. Jilted is quite lovely! I’ll have to remember it!

  7. Hehe, you know what? Jilted is on my list of UD lipsticks to get, but I didn’t go for it first because I would have gotten it right around my wedding… :-P Seemed like an inappropriately named lipstick to wear around that time LOL!

It’s still on my list, though ;-)

  8. MAC Ruby Woo+Candy Yum Yum = Pleasure Bomb
The combination creates a pretty close dupe to the finish and color of Pleasure bomb and a lot of us already have the other two lippies.

  9. Danielle Chaplin

Mixing candy yum yum and Russian red makes pleasure bomb.

  10. definitely not all fired up or relentlessly red.How about a combo of ruby woo and candy yum yum?not one lippie but it’s the closest i’ve tried..and i have a lot of mac’s.

  11. I’d make a submission, but since I haven’t tested out Pleasure Bomb in person to see the comparison, I feel like I should just throw out a possible dupe here: Urban Decay Catfight. It has a satin finish, but it can easily be blotted so it’s matte.

Wet n Wild’s “Cherry Picking” is apparently the perfect dupe for it. Plus, at $2 I think it’s a great option to consider.

  13. I like girl about the town.. and looks very close dupe :)

  14. Girl About Town is so so close.. Thanks for the list dear.. :)

  15. Francesca

I don’t remember where I read it, but a possible dupe for PB can be the Mac Lipmix (pro-line) in Fuchsia. What do you think, Christine?

Yay! I missed out on Pleasure Bomb, but am now happy to see that it’s close to my beloved Girl About Town! :) Also, I really love these dupe posts; it makes me happy to find out that a shade I’ve been lemming is either already mine or available in nicer formulas (I Mac’s mattes a lot, but GAT is so much more comfy on the lips!)

  17. YESSSSSSSSSS! I missed out on Pleasure Bomb as it was a ready sold out, and they’re going for astronomical prices on eBay. Thanks Christine! ♡
