If you’re allergic to any of MAC’s products do email them or write them because I think they do take things like that on board. About 10 years ago I along with some others used to be allergic to MAC’s lipstick and some people MUST have complained to MAC about this, because a year or so later their lipstick formulation changed and I could wear all of their lipsticks from then on! That must have been important to MAC considering their Viva Glam lipsticks. Who was gonna buy them and raise money for them if people were too allergic? LOL
I wonder what’s in them that causes an allergy. Bismuth, maybe?
I’ve been ok with the mineralized products, but I recall someone here mentioning they used to have problems with them until they started applying a thin layer of tea tree oil beforehand and that stopped the breakouts.

I’ve always wanted to try the MSF’s and the cremesheen lipsticks sound lovely! The mineralize eyeshadows sound interesting. My only pet peeve is why do mineralize products have so much glitter or shimmer to them?

I was always pretty leery of shimmer and glitter, but as my skin gets older, let me tell you – that shimmer takes years off LOL! I understand now
This set of Mineralize shadows and blushes are going to have a “satin” finish not that same frosty/sparkle they have in the past! These are going to be far easier to use!!!!

Seriously, it sucks that things go up in price, but they do. Postage stamps go up in price ALL THE TIME. Food is more expensive today at the grocery store than it was 5 years ago. When the cost of one thing goes up, everything that depends on that one thing rises as well. This is PRE-economics 101 stuff.
Again, I’m not saying it doesn’t suck. I’m also not saying that you shouldn’t complain – Rally EVERYONE you can and start writting letters to MAC. If you get enough people involved, they’ll listen.
Act intelligently and make a lot of noise – Two key ingredients to any revolution (I’m serious!).
But… Beyond that, it’s just inflation. Candy bars used to cost a nickle too.

So it is true then! (I posted a reply about this on the Friday haul post, but you haven’t approved it, but anyway, it’s nice to see a confirmation of the rumour.) I’ll definitely want all the mineralized eyeshadows and blushes, and will probably pick up a Stereo Rose as well.
For the record, I am one of those “idiots” who paid $$$’s (although nowhere near $100, more like $50-60) for a Stereo Rose, and I don’t regret it one bit. (I also paid $70 or so for a Pleasureflush.) You see, everyone else will have to wait until July to get their hands on it, whereas I’ll be able to use mine this morning, and tomorrow, and every day until July. ;P It is definitely worth the hype, it’s the prettiest coral-pink blush ever, way prettier than Nars Orgasm, and it has so glitter at all, not even much shimmer, it’s very very pretty.
um… so ignore my other comment on mineralize eyeshadows. lol! i think these were the ones i was talking about. hehe.

I’m the silly one who paid over $100 for a BNIB Stereo Rose, I’ve a weak mind and easily sway by hype unfortunately. My limited patience doesn’t help either so even if I know that MAC is repromoting, I will still go ahead and purchase it but perhaps not at that price since other bidders will give way lol.
It’s really a nice coral colour and I have a male colleague praising me when I wear Stereo Rose. We are working together for 5 years and I wear makeup everyday, he didn’t notice until I wore Stereo Rose? So I console myself that this justify the crazy amount I paid lol.
I told my friend that I’m going to buy 10 Stereo Rose this time and try to sell later to earn back my bucks.

If you have a good idea as to what you want, they usually have a free shipping code for each launch (I bet it will be GROOVE) and I think overnight or 2-day is only $5 or $10 after that! If I order online, I just pass the “free shipping” threshold and go for 2-day or overnight, ha! It helps since I’m in California, so if I go regular, it’ll take 7-10 days.

Hi Christine, what is the difference between cremesheen lipsticks & amplifieds? I am looking forward to this collection as well as the feline one in August.
Cremesheens aren’t as creamy or opaque as amplifieds – they are a bit drier and have more of a frost sheen.

Hi Christine, can you please tell me the difference between cremesheen & amplified creme lipsticks? I want about four from this collection and four from the feline collection.
Amplified Creme – Ultra-creamy. Quietly shiny. Colour-packed! Hi-res: hi-impact.
I don’t know what the official description is for Cremesheen, but it’s not nearly as creamy, usually not as opaque/pigmented.

I do not usually get promo images first, because U.S. bloggers have the images sent from PR about 1-2 weeks before the collection launches.

The Stereo Rose MSF is from the original cast of MSFs. Along with Pleasure Flush (highly Coveted), and a few others, it is a must have product. look it up on Ebay and expect to see it price at $100 or more. I expect to see a frenzy much like the Marine Life debacle so I would be sure to purchase 2, one for use and a backup.
