Me too! I LOVE wearing coral lip shades in the winter. Totally cheers me up and makes me look alive when everythings casting a gray shadow on my skin

It is really cool! I seen one of the pixiwoo sisters on youtube use it in a video…I don’t know how they got it so early but it’s really bright and almost looks chartreuse. I can’t wait for this collection

This is too bright for what I would wear for Fall.
It isn’t Fall everywhere in the world though; in the Southern Hemisphere it’s being released in Spring, which is perfect for us

This winter is all about happy plums and red-oranges.

OH MY GOD! I dont know who this person is but this seems like the coolest collection MAC has done since I have been using them. Everything looks amazing, especially the eyeshadows!!!
This truly reminds me of MAC collections of old, where you could clearly see the concept behind the collection and each product within the collection van be threaded together.
It reminds me a bit of the Temptalia for MAC collection!
I still think they should do that.

Oh! Lanscape is comming back. I like Porcelain Pink but it’s just a pink tint version of By Candlelight.
Lip Erase … terrible product for longevity. Use a flesh tone pencil on your lips instead.

CINDY SHERMAN! OMG! I never would’ve expected this. She is this really interesting visual artist–I love her “self portraits” where she does insane things to herself and her image…she has been really influential to me as an artist in thinking about self-representation. This is such an awesome collaboration! (assuming this is *the* Cindy Sherman they’re referring to)

The lady at the pro store in London told me that Neaon Orange was going to be discontinued – is this how they sell their lines through, or was I told porkies!? It is a little disappointing that there are so many pro products included, but I suppose that is good for the wallet. May still buy Show Orchid and Fusion Pink as they are on my ‘one day’ list and will save a trip to the pro store!

I LOVE CINDY SHERMAN!! I teach film and art theory and visual culture and love to discuss her work in depth. I have read many a college paper devoted to her untitled film stills. i love that she’s collaborating with MAC. She also did a print ad with marc jacobs some time ago which I used in my lecture. Can’t wait for this collection!
I agree! She was one of my favorites when I used to do Visual Arts in high school, her work is amazing so I’m really excited for this collection!

I don’t have any product from Glamglass, so I can’t review anything, sorry! I don’t know if it will be – nobody has confirmed it is, but nobody is saying it is officially delayed. I’ve been waiting for confirmation from MAC on the delay and new release date for 2 weeks now. Sorry, I can’t do anything else

Eeee! I love Cindy Sherman! This is so exciting. I wouldn’t have expected her collaborating with any fashion/beauty brands honestly. She’s a makeup anarchist, haha! I do love the bold colors though.
Lightscapade MSF is supposed to debut in this collection as well as Porcelain Pink MSF. Also Jungle Juice is coming back in this collection. There’s going to be 2 Quads (Parlor Smokey and Angel Flame) and 4 lipglasses and a jumbo penultimate liner.
WOOOOO! Too bright for me! And there have been times I have had fun with a bright pink eye shadow. But this one just looks garish.

What a beautiful collection! I am very excited about this & a bunch of the other collections coming out for the Fall. MAC is back!!!!! I can’t wait to find out the color names. So far, I want all four lipsticks and maybe an eyeliner & lipliner.

Hmmm, I vaguely remember reading this on Specktra. I guess it’s a good thing in that I can spend less money because many of these will be repromotes, but bad in that…hey, no new products (or not many anyway)! In any case, I’ve always wanted Show Orchid and now have my eye on Fusion Pink. This collection should give those of us nowhere near a PRO store access to those colors. So yay on that.
Don’t forget Cross-Cultural, Lightscapade and Porcelain Pink MSFs, to say nothing of Feline. Why don’t they just make that permanent, since they repromote it every 5 minutes?
I love it. I do more with my makeup in the Fall/Winter anyways. It’s just too hot and humid where I live to spend a lot of time on my makeup when it’s just going to get all melted off anyway even with primers. But in the winter I love to do more detailed and “full face” makeup.
wow. this is why I love MAC – their collaborations are always the most interesting and refreshing. Cindy Sherman is such a dynamic artist and I’m excited to see what comes out of this!

The information is very, very preliminary – I’m waiting for firmer information. When things are too preliminary, I get flooded with a lot of complaints when things change so the best course of action is to wait

What really makes no sense to me is that MAC puts out the brights (particularly in lipsticks) in the Fall & puts out dark colors in the spring & summer.
I agree. I’m very traditional about cosmetics colors. Wearing a coral lip in the dead of winter makes me depressed so does wearing burgundy lips in the summer.

Color is actually on trend for fall; mixing a pop of color with simple outfits is what is being seen on runways everywhere! So to everyone who is saying these colors are too bright or summery check the trends! (or be left behind)

This collection looks amazing!!! I thought jungle juice lipstick was going to be re-promoted with it? That was what I read in lots of other blogs. I was hoping it would be. Heard great things about it. Also, wasn’t there going to be a bunch of eyeshadow quads and blushes? I’m still excited. MAC is rocking with all these collections. My wallet is crying, but the addict in me is very very happy!!!

Ooh! Looks exciting. I know I want 2 of the lipglasses (Pink Fade and Orange Tempera are calling me! <3) and Lightscapade MSF (just watch this sell out!) and maybe a lipstick. Alot of the lipsticks seem too bright for my tasting though. And maybe an eyeshadow quad.

I thought the same thing! Beautiful, vibrant colors, but WTF is up with those pics?!
You should research the artist before saying such things. And maybe re-evaluate why you’re investing in MAC, if they are promoting such photos. Have you not hear of MAC’s mission statement? All ages, races and genders? Does that not equal acceptance of everyone, whether a “weird” performance artist, a drag queen, a home maker mom etc etc.

I feel the same but I guess it’s art. I can pass on this collection. Good thing too as I have WAY too much makeup from previous collections.
I rather like the 2nd quad and the Porcelain Pink MSF (though I don’t think it’s near as good as Petticoat) but I have to say, the woman in the first photo looks like some of the women my mom used to hang out with in the 50′s, who thought they were “glam” but who really looked like old tarts. Not one of the 3 looks has any validity for me.
The collection just seems to be a lot of repromotes and Pro stuff (apart from the quads and a few other bits), I think I’ll pass. Oh yeah, why do the women in the pictures look a little creepy, maybe it’s just me, I don’t know?!

She is a famous photographer and artist who is famous for taking on drastically different caricatures in her work.
You should check out the documentary that came out about Cindy in 2009 called “Guest of Cindy Sherman”. It’s a lot of fun and you learn a lot about her art!
i LOVE that movie. it’s really one of the best movies about an artist and their process. not to mention a very funny story about her nutty boyfriend.

Those lipglasses all look right up my alley, and I love the sound of some of those pigments (especially Emerald Dusk). Three Ring Yellow looks so much like the shadow (or was it a pigment?) in the sadly-not-actually-real Temptalia collection. And I want it.

Wow! Its like they’re trying to do the toxic collection from Illamasque, only they failed miserably and came off horrifically creepy. That’s just embarrassing.
I disagree. They are interesting and beautiful. Actually I hated the toxic nature photos. They were too literal and it showed the lack of creativity from illimasqua. These photos belong in a art gallary.

I love the colors that I’m seeing in this collection. Absolutely love them, especially the lipsticks.
The promotional images, however, are terrible! They look like they were done by a small child with a very large crayon.
Cindy Sherman is not a model or fashion makeup artist. She’s a performance artist and photographer. That’s her in all three photos as characters she has created. She is an artist who uses makeup to help personify her characters. Look her up on the internet for more info on her – she is *intensely* creative.
WOW. This is the most unappealing makeup ads I’ve seen in a long time. And people are “excited”? Excited for what? It’s a bunch of repromotes and permanents. MAC is getting desperate now; then again they have been for at least two years of coming out with multiple collections a month. How do people still buy this junk? ::confused::
Not everyone has access to a MAC PRO and while you could argue that you can purchase the products online if that was the case, a lot of people prefer to swatch and test the products out themselves before buying.
