You poor woman. You’re a saint, keeping up with MAC’s near weekly launches.

  2. Miss J

I’m interested to know more about the cream contour and the contour brush! Please, MAC, come out with something worthwhile!

  3. I’m usually immune to MAC launches, as there are just SO many, but I’m actually really curious about those pressed pigments! And now that I’ve gotten more into bronzers, I’m really curious to try a cream bronzer/contour color. I like the Cremeblend blush formula enough, so I’m hoping that I’ll like the Sculpting Creams too! Definitely will check this collection out

I’ve been dying to try face and body and this might be my chance. I just don’t understand their numbering shade system. What does NW15 work out to be in Face and Body?
OMG and the pro scuplting cream….CAN’T WAIT!

    • Caty

      N1. N = NW, C = NC. I’m a NC15 and I wear C1

    • Miss J

I think N1 is the best match for NW15. I want to say it might be a little darker, but I can’t recall. Since it’s such a liquidy/sheer formula, I find that I can easily wear C1 or C2, and I’m about NC20-NC25. I hope this helps a little.

    • Mietta

I’m NW15-20 and I bought the N1 recently and found its too dark. You would have to get the white Face and Body from a Pro store and mix it. =C That’s what I’m planning to do soon! More money spent for us pale people to get our colour…sigh.

  5. Rae

The woman in the ad is still rail thin but it’s nice to see that she isn’t photoshoppeed to oblivion!!!

  6. Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Amy Amy

Disappointed that the shading/contouring shades don’t all Na e a grey undertone…shadows are grey damnit.

  7. Marsina

So happy to get Face and Body Foundation back at all locations. It is my all time favorite foundation. Best trick I’ve learned with this is to warm it between your hands until you feel it thicken up, then apply.
I can’t wait to get my hands on the Sculpting Creams, I played with them a few months ago and they were amazing.

  8. wow I am really excited for the 163 brush!

  9. Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Jessica Jessica M.

    YES. CREAM CONTOUR/BRONZER YAY.

  10. Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Shayna Shayna

That 163 brush is sexy. Excited for this!

  11. Camille

I’m confused. Are the pressed pigments eyeshadows?

  12. Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Laurence Laurence

Do you know if the normal size of Face&Body will still be available ? Because it’s 32$(CAD) for 1.5oz and 40$ for 4oz. Doesn’t make much sense. I’d like to know if they’re going to discontinue the big size so I can stock up ! Thanks :)

    • Helen

On the UK MAC website in the new description for the new size of F&B it says “Now available in two sizes, including the new 50ml” which suggests they will keep both sizes permanently.

  13. OMG, its only out in September 2013 in Asia? Whyyyyyy? Oh Why! :(

  14. I was quite puzzled and excited to see this appear on the MAC.co.uk website yesterday! I’m also both puzzled and excited by the pressed pigments…?

I wasn’t expecting this collection. I must have missed promos on this one!

  15. QIN

I’m wordering if numbering system of Face&Body 1.5oz is different from 4oz?C6 of 1.5oz seems to be darker than 4oz.

    • Caty

no, it’s not different. Face & Body oxidizes very quickly/easily in the bottle. I always tell people to ignore what the foundation looks like in the bottle and only go by on-the-skin color. We have people coming in with empty bottles of N1 to get a new one, and the residual foundation on the walls of the old N1 bottle makes it look like… N3 or N5.

  16. Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Tuss Tuss

Funny.. 50 ml for the same price as 120 ml before..

  17. Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Ana Ana G.

So far, the only collection I’m curious about. Specially cream contour and pressed pigments :-)

  18. That promo picture is just so so wrong… But I do like MAC’s face & body foundation. I use it a lot for photoshoots. Sucks that they’re made the bottle smaller, though…

  19. Kathleen

OMG… You don’t understand how excited I am about these sculpting creams and pressed pigments. (Luckily, I live 15 mins from a pro store so I’ve been using Face and Body in C3 for a while.) Love the 163 as well!

  20. sunny

OMG–I am psyched for this collection! The last one I was this excited for was Iris Apfel. I hope the products are worthwhile!

  21. Caty

I’m really excited about this, Face & Body is my all time favorite MAC foundation. We all wear it at the freestanding MAC store. If you can make it to a freestanding MAC store, the value in the larger sized bottles is a lot better. That’s the only thing I’m kind of disappointed with in this launch. However, the smaller bottles will still last you a very long time, and it’s a good chance to try before you commit to a full bottle – we’ve actually had several people specifically asking for smaller bottles.

  22. Sara

It’s already online in the UK, I’ve got my eye on the sculpting creams but I think I’m going to wait for swatches because I’m quite pale and I’m not sure if accentuate or naturally defined will be right for me. Are you going to swatch them when they come out? That would be really helpful if you could.

  23. Ericka

I don’t think that I am happy about the smaller sized face and body foundation. The 4oz size of F&B is $33 while the 1.7oz is $27. I will just continue to buy the bigger sizes until MAC stops making them. I understand that MAC is changing products but the quality is also getting worse. Check out their old pigments compared to the new pigments. Teal and Fuchsia are horrible now. I am sure that there are other products that I am not aware of that have lost their quality with their new package changes. There are other brands that raised the price on their products but at least the products got better. Urban Decay raised their prices but their products are better. I think that I am going to have to enjoy all of the old stuff from MAC that I have and look for a different brand that offers better quality products.

Sadly I agree, but with the notable exception of their matte l/s. I’m not sure where to turn to now though. I’ve been a mac addict for too long.

  24. Ester

Excited for cream contours and pressed pigments!

  25. Kathy

I’m not a huge fan of Face & Body makeup — it’s a little to liquid-y for me — but I’m very interested in the sculpting creams and the W10 pearl powder.

  26. Rae

i just picked these up couple days ago and i’ve fallen back in love with face and body! im a sucker for small packaging as i travel a lot and the bottle is really light.

the #163 brush felt weird though, wasn’t exactly soft.

  27. Honeybee

Christine, is the 163 brush LE?

  28. I haven’t been keeping up to date with MAC releases lately coz I’ve been busy but I went pass by the MAC stand today and saw this collection. I must say I was intrigued by the pressed pigment and the sculpting cream. I bought the pure sculpture sculpting cream!! It was such an impulse buy but I have been looking for a contouring cream so I got it!! I can’t wait to try it!

  29. Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Manisha Manisha

Does anybody know if the brushes will be permanent ?

  30. Sarah M

Does anybody know which two of the pro sculpting cream shades are permanent???

  31. Devyn

I just wanted to let you ladies know that Sonia Kashuk makes a dupe to the 163 Brush and it’s only $12.99. I now own both and I don’t see a noticeable difference!

    • Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Melinda Melinda

I know the 163 is synthetic and the SK Flat Top is goat hair. Is the MAC 163 easy to clean?

      • B

You should check out dustyohunter (youtube channel)he has done a detailed review on the brush and compared it to the SK brush and some of the products that are being released in this collection.
He did mention that the brush is hard to clean…

        • Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Melinda Melinda

Yes I saw, but I have the same issue with my Sigmax brushes. It’s because the bristle are very dense. I just got my 163 today and I love it. The brush is sold out on the website already.

          • lalakitty

Ok so I always buy MAC product I recently descoverd bh cosmetics their brushes r great and greatly price I will b receiving my1St eye color pallet fr them on Monday

        • Joan

It seems that review might have been more about him capitalizing on an opportunity to promote the product item that he designed. I too got the 163 brush. It did not smell like factory glue. I washed & conditioned it as I do all of my new bushes before using them. Because of its density, the brush did require a longer rinsing time. That said, this is a brush that I will clean with a commercial brush cleaner as I do with my extremely dense kabuki brushes. I used the 163 and I love it. It is a pragmatic tool for perfect application of contouring products. I was able to then clean it quite easily with brush cleaner.

  32. JoeJoe

Christine! What contour cream shade would be best for NC30?? Thanks for your time ;) have a great weekend!!

  33. Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Bari Brjsmom

I bought the pressed pigment and TRIED to use as an eyeshadow…..wow! Hot mess is all I can say. Chunks of glitter all over my face that took 2 days to come off. I use Mac pigments and crushed pigments with no problem. What is up with the pressed pigment????

  34. Celina

I am going to purchase the MAC Face and Body foundation, but I was wondering if the 120mL bottle will still be permanent if MAC is putting out the 50mL one as part of their permanent collection. I really hope I can still get my hands on the 120mL bottle because it’s so much more worth the money especially here in Canada. Funny how the 50mL version is almost the same price as the 120mL.

  35. MACArtistBoy

This foundation is comepletel UH-mazing!!! 8-hour wear, water-based, but water-resistant foundation that can be used on face and body! Gives a great natural/satin-finish with a sheer to buildable coverage. Super lightweight. it’s a great alternative to Mineralize Satinfinish Foundation (which is being discontinued) :(. I honestly find it best applied with my hands! Warming up this product makes a huge difference. Squeeze product into finger tips and rub both hands’ finger tips together warming up the product and then apply! Great for someone who wants sheer natural coverage! Mix it with the new P+P Beauty Balm to create a nice med/full coverage! look absolutely amazing!

  36. stephanie

Are you going to review the brushes. I wish there was more info online about the 215. I did buy one, but its always good to read how other people are using them.
