  1. I adore the packaging but I’m not feeling much love for the products them selves this year. >_< MAYBE I'll change my mind after seeing swatches.

  2. nicole

omg finally the color stories !!!! thanks for much christine !!

  3. The pink lipgloss dazzlesphere looks awesome! I’m liking the looks of the nail kit too :)

  4. Raquel

Damn!! I was hoping for the regular pigment kits… I’m not a fan of the crushed metallic ones =/

  5. Bibi

    OHMYGOSH! PIGMENTS!

LOVE the packaging for these, will probably pick up some of the lip ones!

Is it just me or does the one of the Metallic Pigment sets look exactly like the purpley one we saw from Surf Baby?

    • Christine O

I had the exact same thought when I saw it too!

    • Rosa Napoleon

Yes it does…I thougt of that the instant I saw pictures. I have never tried MAC curshed metal pigments before are they anything like MAC regular pigments.

I have heard to are harder to work with and very messy.

      • Lark

Eye of the beholder. I find them much better! They’re like pigments used to be with lots of sticky already in them. No Urban Mythical Mixing Medium issues- if you really need mixing medium why isn’t it in the stores?
I love Crush Metals, only thing I see exciting here. My MAC Holiday is looking like the Pro Pans I want to round out my es collection … Maybe some full size Dazzleglass in the colors I use up.

        I’m disappointed.

  7. Lindsay

I love the colors and packaging on these! Definitely have to buy at least the Mini Gloss Kit’s.

Wow, I’m loving everything here – which I’m surprised about. I’m supposed to be on a makeup buying strike. Let’s see how long this lasts LOL

  9. Carrie Ann

I was wondering what the holiday collection would look like this year! I like that they’ve included mini Dazzleglasses and Cremesheens, but I’ll probably just get one of the Crushed Metallic Pigment sets. :)

  10. Alex

Wow, I’m actually kind of relieved that there are no new mini pigment sets I’m going to “need” for my collection, and that I’ll be skipping these pigment sets. Since the nail polish, Coral and Neutral lip sets are singing my name! And that’s a good $100.00 right there! XD I love Bare Necessity and now I have a good excuse to replace the one I used up! =D

one of the lipglosses appears to be on sale on beyondtherack lol..

  12. KC

The minis used to come in fives, now its fours. I have to wait until I see the swatches to make any decision.

  13. Layla

So it comes in the sphere?? that is SO COOL

  14. Betsy

OMG I love this collection,,,better start saving my money!!!

Those crushed pigments are gonna kill my wallet!

  16. Great work as always lovely. I thought these were embargoed but I know if I see it on Temptalia it is as good as go.

  17. Meh. The nail polishes are most interesting (but only for one of the shades).

  18. Stephanie

This is gonna kill my wallet! They all look to die for!

  19. Nic

It’s cool that they’re doing Dazzleglasses and Cremesheen glasses this year, but I’m curious how much product they’ll contain. The regular size ones are already mini…

  20. Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Theresa Reese

Must have ALL the creamsheen glasses…..better start saving now…

im going to buy everything in here! come to mama!!

  22. Jillian

this packaging is adorable! definitely adding this to my wishlist!

  23. Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Alana Alana

I am so excited for those pigment stacks, I’ve become such a sucker for those things!

  24. Loving the colors.Looking forward to the pigments and the glosses.

  25. Lindz

I’m bummed that they’re all repromotes of the dazzleglasses.

  26. Briar

I feel that M.A.C has failed us this year. I would much prefer 5 lipglasses to two cremesheens and a dazzleglass or vice versa.

And who thought bringing back the crushed metallic pigment stacks was a good idea? Many people had issues with theirs from Surf Baby. And the colors aren’t even nice.

And only three nail lacquers? Puh-lease..

  27. Elise

I love the crushed pigments, but these look similar to past releases. So kind of disappointed.

  28. noemi

    Ahhhh cant wait

  29. Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Jazmyn Jazmyn

So getting the mini pink lip gloss set! love the fact that they come with cremesheen glasses and dazzleglasses I love both those finishes more that lipglasses

  30. Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Luis luis

im probly goin to get everything. just too cute to pass up.

  31. ginger

I LOVE the colors this year. And the packageing is awesome. But i hate that they are stackables. I like the little glass bottles.

  32. Lark

Oooohh! Does MAC think we’re idiots?
I have been seen swatted. With Spring Color Forecast Stacked Two and Summer Stash stack from this year in hand and I was right! The two warm stax have ONE new color between them. A red/ orange/ saffron, very pretty but the thing is, if you love love stax and buy them the repeat is no fun!
If you never bothered with them grab all. Great stuff.

So the blue is iridescent Blue Storm pigment, purple/ blue duochrome and lovely! I could tell there were no dupes in the rest and at the rate I blow through silver pigment So What? But when MAC Holiday only offers me a lipstick and one pigment stack it’s like coal in my stocking. :-(
Give that purple a rest MAC? How about vivid chartreuse? Turquoise and periwinkle? You loved the four top half jars of pigment when I posted it at Spectra; puleeze? New colors? Or bring back Stacked I ?

  33. hazzell

I bought the pigments and went home and looked for the stacked 1! From a previous collction and found that its very very simular to light violet and grape. The actual grape pigment is different from the grape crush meta pigment in this collection but I would say if ure buying the purple sacks for this certain colors and you have stacked 1! U should skip it. Just a thought.

  34. Nay

I bought the dazlesphere…… and the lady gave me silver and white long packaging to put it in to gift to someone… but the problem is she didnt know how to tie it together…. its kinda long.. like a wine bottle bag? so I have this bag and have NO IDEA how to tie it up LOL
