You better keep Tango!

I’m strangely drawn to Orange Dare.

I will! Oh, wow! You, Orange Dare? That’s a bold lippie!

I know, it’s totally irrational. I won’t buy it but will admire it from afar, much like unrequited love.

I’m wearing Flattering right now, as a matter o’ fact!

Ahhhh, thank you so much for all of these swatches!! I can’t wait for these to come out…I really like Poise and Flattering. Can’t wait to see some looks you use with these lipsticks as well! :D

My pleasure, Noel! :D

Those are great neutral/subtler colors relative to a lot of the other colors that came out.

so which colour would you say is the one the model is wearing in the promo pic? i would’ve thought tango but going by the swatch i’m not so sure. any idea?

You know what, it’s either Tango or Orange Dare, I think. There’s always a good amount of Photoshop/photo editing/lighting that goes into a promotional photo, so it’s hard to really tell.

can’t wait to hear liner suggestions.. what’s your fave?

Christine

Sunday, September 30, 2007

Oh, man, I’m a very minimalist liner girl! I really only use Summerfruit, Pink Treat, and Cranapple. For all reds, I use the lipstick itself as a liner first, then apply it.

I really love Tango and Rougette :)

YOU KNOW. I HAVE REALLY {WIERD HAHA} LIPZ. MOST OF THE TIME. I HAVE TO USE LIPGLOSS. KUZ ITS MORE FLATTERING TO MY LIPS. AND IVE USED LIPSTICKS. AND THEY MAKE MY LIPS LOOK WORSE. BUT I USED A MATTE TYPE LIPSTICK ONCE. AND I WAS IN LOVE. IT REALLY WORKED FOR MY LIPS. SO FOR ANYONE WHO HAS THE SAME PROBLEM USE MATTE!! IT LOOKS GORGOUS!

Thanks for the tip, Kelly! I hope others find it helpful, too :)

Hey Christine, thanks for the great post- who can have too many lippies, anyway?! Do you know if rougette and rapturous look the same? I was considering buying both…

Christine

My pleasure, Sammie! They aren’t exactly the same, but they are quite similar… Rougette is more red, Rapturous is more purple.
