  1. I don’t even know if I want it.

This palette is like VICE2 to me. The colours separately are nice, but together, it just doesn’t “go”.

I agree with you! I think I’ll pass.I don’t know if this palette is going to be as popular as the original PRO palette

    • zainab

I found that to be the case- for some reason I never feel as inclined to pick up Vice 2 as other palettes, and I thought it would be a favourite.

    • layla

The laura mercier palette from christmas is better than this palette and if u have it like i do you dont need this….overall the pro 1 is better pick than this one and on tan skin it looks muddy because of the gray cast on some colors.

So excited! I love how it complements the original so well. A truer purple, navy blue, awesome matte grays, jade olive, and a ton of interesting browns. Can’t wait :)

  3. This is really exciting news! I have heard so much about the Lorac palette and this one does not look like will disappoint! :-)

Christine! Will you be getting this one early to review? I really want to see swatches before its released!

    • Sorry, Jenny! LORAC said they might be able to send me something at the end of June, but I don’t have anything at this time.

      • Min

How did Mrslolalyn on youtube get it before you?? You have such a bigger following than her! ughh!

        • I buy about 60-80% of what’s featured on the blog (just depends on the month, lol! some months are more expensive than others), so I can confidently tell you that it’s not just traffic or size that brands look for when they consider who to work with :)

  5. The first Lorac Pro palette is honestly my favourite of all time. I will use every single shadow in that palette until they are all gone. The pigmentation is phenomenal. I will definitely be buying this!

  6. Emma M

OH. EM. GEE!!!!!! First the Givenchy Le Rouges and now Lorac 2????? My wallet’s totally gonna hate me.

    • Emma M

Another question… Will this also be available at Nordstrom or Nordstrom.com? I hate cheating on my relationship with Nordstrom.

      • Hi Emma,

LORAC said it “officially launches exclusively on Ulta.com June 15th and retails for $42.” I don’t know if Ulta just has an early launch or if it is really exclusive.

Yay!! I will def be getting this! So many goodies lately across all brands. My poor wallet…

  8. I would love to own both of the LORAC Pro Palettes!

  9. Why me? I don’t need anymore eyeshadow. I really don’t, but my collection will feel so incomplete without this. Okay okay, seriously after this one more thing, no more makeup shopping! I love your blog but seriously Christine why do you do this to me? :D :P

  10. Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of A A

I would love to know if this is also coming out in the store in June. I’ve called three Ultas and none of them even know there’s a second Pro Palette coming out!

    • Isn’t that sad?? You must live in my city if your Ulta people are that informed! ;)

    • I work at an Ulta and while we know it launched today online we don’t know when we’ll have it in store just yet(at least at our store!). I wish it was here now! Usually these come out online before they’re available in stores. boo. :(

  11. Bella

SO EXCITED!!!! the first one is the best!!!!!!

  12. Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Urfa StrangeOne

I still don’t have a neutral eye palette and the nakeds are a bit too glittery for me so I had finally decided on the nudetude and now you’re showing me this. Back to the drawing board..

  13. Hmm the colors look pretty decent. I’m curious to see some swatches soon. I have more than enough palettes and I already adore my original Pro Palette so I’m not sure if I need it. Things may change though

Just saw some swatches. Not too impressed but I might have to see them in person in order to decide.
I love the first one so I may skip the second.

  15. Miss J

    I. Can’t. Even. Gimmie NOW!!!

  16. Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Veronica Veronica

This looks more encouraging than the first palette in terms of shade balance, but it’s still looks like it leans warm to my eye. The only true cool-toned neutral palette I’ve come across was NYX Butt Naked, and that was only LE…and the face product section of the palette was bafflingly warm compared to the rest of it. I long for the day of permanent cool-toned collections. :P

    • Carrie

Amen to that. So often it’s “ooh pretty, but too warm…”

    • Dany

I think Too Faced Naked Eye is a cool toned neutral palette, is it not? I love the quality and color selection!

      • Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Veronica Veronica

Whoops, you’re right! I even own that palette, so I should know better. TF is probably the only brand I know of who regularly releases cool-toned palettes. (Not the same story for their face products, though. *sigh*)

  17. One of the things I like about the Lorac Pro Palette(s) is that the names of the shadows are simple and tell you pretty much what the colour is. I mean, honestly, that is SO refreshing instead of reading names like “Freak Rainstorm” or “Fairy’s Wish” – what the heck do names like those even MEAN???? Light Brown, Cool Grey, Mocha, Navy – I so much prefer those sorts of names.

  18. Vanessa

Stop it! I just put myself on a no-buy after getting some of Chanel and Mac’s LE’s for summer (and a few more MAC lipsticks) and LORAC has to do this to me! Pro 1 is my favorite palette at the moment and I think I will get this too. It’s my birthday this month anyway. Then no more Christine, you are killing me but I love it.

  19. Kirsten

These colors look like they’re too dark for my tastes, but it just might be the kick in the butt I need to go out and buy the first one.

    • Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of karen kjh

When I looked at the Pro Palettes side-by-side on the Ulta website, the #2 looked lighter, overall. I never got #1, and now think I want both. Isn’t that just the way with palettes? Now, after Chrysalis + cruising Christine’s dupes, just gotta get that Monarch, too. Oh, boy!

  20. Shelley

This palette is just not screaming out to me like the first one did. I’d have to see it in person to determine if its a must have in my collection.

  21. Too warm for me but I’m sure the quality will be great!

THe original is probably my most fave of all, and I have LOTS of eye palettes! Gray doesn’t get me too thrilled and some of these others might not either. I will check it out in person and see how similar or not to the original on the colors I look at that I do like- the warm tones, and see on the others. Thanks on the pic and names!

  23. LaDoshis

Oooh! This looks so much more appealing to me than he first one! I dot need new eyeshadow but if the swatches are good I think I will get this!

  24. Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Arielle Arielle

The ‘jade’ in this looks great here but I have the lorac ‘stylist’ palette and the similar moss green shade in that is disappointing. I’ll be picking this up but am a bit worried that it won’t appeal to me in the same way the original did

  25. Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Dee D Dee

Any idea where else this would be sold besides Ulta Christine? Anyplace us Canucks can get at it easily?

  26. Ulta only?! :( that is bad news for me since Ulta doesn’t ship to Canada! I missed out on the first Lorac Pro palette and now that Sephora doesn’t carry Lorac anymore… Looks like I may be out of luck!

    • Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Brenda Brenda

Agreed – I felt a big “UGH” when I read ULTA. So many great things show up there that aren’t available to us in Canada anywhere else!! (I’m in the GTA). It is a wee bit frustrating.

  27. jaz

I want this palette. I may just have to suck up my distaste for them to get this and the original pro palette

  28. Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Ayesha Ayesha

I cannot wait to get my hands on this! :)

  29. I love the look of the colours in this palette, it defiantly looks like something i’d be interested in trying out :)

  30. Plum, Navy, and Jade are calling my name.

  31. Annie

I might need this… I absolutely LOVE the original Pro Palette. I never even thought I needed it (another neutral palette) until I swatched it in the store one day and was amazed by the quality of the shadows, so smooth and buttery! This looks like a great new set of colors. I think the Pro Palette eyeshadows are way better quality than my original Naked palette. Glad it will be available at ULTA too – I love their rewards program… I earn $ off my purchases so quickly!

  32. I can’t wait to see the reviews and swatches on this one since I just recently got the first palette and I fell in love with it

  33. macy

Its up for grabs on the Ulta website RIGHT NOW. :) I just bought mine.
Supposed to be released tomorrow. But they put it up early.

    Hurry guys!!!

  34. Im excited ,colors are so pretty :)

  35. J

I’m gonna get this when it comes into my store and I’m super excited for it! I’ve held out on the first one for so long because I have so many shadows similar to those colors. I’m absolutely lusting after these colors though, esp navy and jade!

  36. Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Ellie Ellie

Ooops, it accidentally fell in my baskett… :P

  37. Profile wp-user-avatar wp-user-avatar-60 alignnone photo of Ashley Ashley

This palette does not look appealing to me…cool toned shades do not look good on me. I definitely want the first more than the second

  38. Hildegerd

    Looks great.

  39. Do I need it or care about it? No. Is it pretty and will it assumably work well? Yes. We shall see.. No thanks, says me.

  40. I want to get this palette even though 5 of the shades I wouldn’t personally use. Why is it only at Ulta? I looked on lorac’s website and it isn’t even for sale and same with sephora and Nordstrom : /
