Looks – Starflash Made Soft

I did this look for yesterday’s outing with the relatives :) Pretty simple, but I liked it nonetheless!
How’s everyone doing? What’s on your to-do list today?

You will need the following…
- Eyes: Soft Ochre paint pot (creamy neutral base), Dreammaker eyeshadow (white-gold), Go! eyeshadow (dark shimmery brown), Ricepaper eyeshadow (soft neutral highlight), Rich Ground fluidline (coppery brown gel liner), Blacktrack fluidline (black gel liner), Plushlash mascara (black)
- Cheeks: Suncentered colour forms powder (soft peachy)
- Lips: Mari-sheeno lipstick (coral-pink), Cle de Peau #2 Gloss (pink duochrome)
- Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
- Substitutes: Dreammaker = Nylon; Go = Tempting; Suncentered = Cantaloupe; Mari-sheeno = Skew
Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Soft Ochre paint pot all over the lid as the base with the 249. All over the lid, apply Dreammaker using the 239. Apply Go! eyeshadow to the outer edge of the lid, overlaying it with Dreammaker. Darken crease with Go! eyeshadow by dragging it into the crease area with the 239. Sweep Ricepaper underneath the brow bone to highlight. Finish with Blacktrack fluidline on lower lash line, Rich Ground fluidline on upper lash line, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with Suncentered using the 129. Apply Mari-sheeno lipstick to lips, and then top with Cle de Peau #2 Gloss for color and shine.

Glad you liked it, Ariele :D
Headbands are my savior!
Thursday, August 7, 2008
I love the liner you used – a softer alternative that still makes your eyes pop.
And I also love the happy photo shots – a smile upgrades all makeup creations!
Friday, August 8, 2008
Thanks, Melinda :)
Thursday, August 7, 2008
you always make lipstick look good!
Friday, August 8, 2008
LOL! Well, thank you ;P
Thursday, August 7, 2008
The rich ground fluidline looks excellent on you! I know how you very seldom use eyeliner on your upper lash line but having a light colored one really makes the eyes pop. very sweet!
Friday, August 8, 2008
Thanks a bunch, Connie :)
Thursday, August 7, 2008
I love Rich Ground! I love it more on you than me. Maybe I should try tightlining with blacktrack on the lashline.
Friday, August 8, 2008
It’s really pretty, you should try using it more often :) You’ll find a way to make it work and love it!
Thursday, August 7, 2008
This is a really pretty look! I don’t usually go for neutrals, but this looks so good can’t wait to try it. Didn’t think I wanted/needed any fluidlines, but now I definitely do :)
Friday, August 8, 2008
Thanks, Lingping! I hope you try it, this is one of my favorite looks ever :)
Thursday, August 7, 2008
Another lovely look!
I do wish they had a permanent fluidline just a tick darker than Rich Ground though.
Friday, August 8, 2008
Thanks, Nartian! Oh, I agree. I wish they’d make more permanent fluidilnes, period!
Thursday, August 7, 2008
The lips are AMAZING! I think that the Cle de Peau gloss was well worth it–that shimmer is so pretty.
Friday, August 8, 2008
Thanks, Nicky! I love it a lot, it was definitely a good color to purchase :) Probably won’t repurchase (will opt for NARS Orgasm, most likely), but good for now!
Thursday, August 7, 2008
another great neutral look for me to try at work! you should DEF do more looks with Marisheeno! i LOVE it, but i’m never sure what to pair it with!
today…….work and work and work and go home and sleep. that’s about it. debating whether or not i want to shell out $150 for a haircut at Bumble & Bumble……….shall I??
Friday, August 8, 2008
OMG, Mari-sheeno goes with everything, I swear! I use it with blues, greens, neutrals… LOVE IT.
Oh, wow $150! Well… if they can give you that hairstyle that suits you so well… then yes!
Thursday, August 7, 2008
I totally agree with prev comments. You look more beautiful, it’s the different poses or different makeup or both or something else altogether. Please share :)
Friday, August 8, 2008
Thanks, Pia! Just the makeup, LOL. It’s been a terrible week for me!
Thursday, August 7, 2008
Rich Ground is one of my favourite fluidlines and it’s so pretty on you Christine!
Friday, August 8, 2008
What do you wear it with most often, Márcia?
Thanks!
Thursday, August 7, 2008
Very pretty, you look so sweet in these photos. I also like the fluidline.
You know what could be a possible dupe for your 50$ gloss? Chanel Glosimer in Twinkle (No.11), it is not that expensive and I think real similar!
Friday, August 8, 2008
Thanks, Nell! Interesting – will have to take a peek at it. NARS Orgasm is similar to it!
Thursday, August 7, 2008
your perfection christine!!!!!!!!!!!! <333
Friday, August 8, 2008
Thanks, Lala :D
Thursday, August 7, 2008

Friday, August 8, 2008
Thanks, Amanda! I love neutrals these days :D
Thursday, August 7, 2008
i purchased dream maker, smoke and diamonds, go, and grand entrance today. i absolutely LOVE the texture and how pigmented they are…much much better than the mineralize eyeshadows. im debating going back for mink and sable and bold and brazen…are they worth it?
Friday, August 8, 2008
Nice! I loveee Mink & Sable for sure. Bold and Brazen is pretty, but you could probably pass on that!
Thursday, August 7, 2008
a very very nice and gentle look indeed!
am so loving the lip colour and the brown liner on the upper lash line!!
Friday, August 8, 2008
Thanks a ton, Theresa :D

Friday, August 8, 2008
Love it Christine…I actually think I could pull this one off. lol As for my things to do today…taking my 16 yr old for her drivers permit today. Shes a good driver, but I’m not a good passenger (with a teen with a permit behind the wheel) That goes in the Daddy dept. here. Have a great day ladies :o)
Friday, August 8, 2008
You definitely could!! Ohh, good luck! Driving with my sister when she had her permit always made ne nervous, I can only imagine for you!

Wednesday, August 20, 2008
Hi there! I was just wondering, whats a nice colour that would go with bold and brazen (preferably in the browns family)… I bought glamour check but I am not sure if I love it because of the red in it and it looks similar to sketch on my skintone. Please let me know :D Thank you!!!
Monday, August 25, 2008
Really any brown, Jamie! It’s great with other warm copper or gold-toned browns for sure.
Wednesday, August 20, 2008
Actually, never mind :P lol I just tried skecth and glamaour check on my eye PROPERLY with bold and brazen and sketch is WAYYY darker. Do you think woodwinked/bronze/GO/Tempting might be a better substitute?? Which one do you prefer?? Thanks again :P
Monday, August 25, 2008
Go or Bronze would be great!
Friday, August 22, 2008
I totally LOVE this look!
Quick question tho – did you use the 266 brush to line both the top and bottom of your lids?
thanks!
Kayla
Monday, August 25, 2008
Thanks, Kayla! I use the 210 actually!
