Lancome Untamed Plum La Laque Fever
Sugar Plum Fairy Lips with Lancome
Lancome Untamed Plum La Laque Fever Lip Shine ($26.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a darkened plum with a little wine in it and gold shimmer. It’s really a beautiful color on the lips, because it’s just dark enough to be dark, but it’s not so dark it’s too bold. You could even wear it alone, just running errands, which is really nice. The La Laque Fever is an interesting gloss formula (“lip shine” in Lancome-speak), because it has the glossiness of a gloss but the color is more like that of a lipstick. I find the glossy part wears off after an hour or two, but the color remains for six or longer and does make it (mostly) through a meal, as well. Some of the shades run more opaque than others, with this one being more semi-sheer/semi-opaque–it gives my lips a very nice, plummy tint, but it’s not opaque.

I love this shade and everything, but when I actually tried it on I found that it leaves sort of big lined creases on my lips... It defines every little crease tenfold.
Hi, I'm a skier, and I was wondering if you'd think this would stay put while I rocked the slopes. I'm going skiing with a gorgeous boy soon, and I gotta look my best ;)
This reminds me a lot of LM's stickgloss in Black Orchid so I won't be picking this up myself. I do love these kinds of colors though. =)
How do you like the wand Christine? I don't think I've ever used a lipgloss with that sort of foot/brush on the end. Did you find the product easy to apply without a mirror with the brush?
I have no problems with it - it's a little big, even on my lips (which I don't consider small or thin) - but I'd say I'm just indifferent to it!
