Do you like your lipgloss flavored?

Do you like your lipgloss flavored? Does it matter? Any favorite/disliked flavors?

.

Nope, I don’t care either way. If pressed, I’d say I prefer not flavored, because I don’t have a tendency to lick my lips… except if they’re really, really sweet!

I like them to be pleasant smelling / tasting. I have a few of NYX’s lipglosses and I think they taste vile. The smell reminds me of citrus gone bad and it taste like I’m putting dishwashing liquid on my lips. Yuck! 🙁 So yes, taste matters to me!

I prefer it if they’re not flavoured, otherwise I just lick them off, lol. 🙂 Except of course if they’re disgusting flavoured, I especially dislike Urban Decay’s Pocket Rocket glosses, they taste vile. :S

Not flavoured, or perhaps with a horrid flavour that makes sure I do not lick my lips. I have full lips, and live in Norway. Cold winters, lips that are vulnerable to cold and tend to be dry do not work well with anything that induces me to lick

I’m not picky, but I can appreciate a good flavour. As long as it’s not tasting bad, I’m ok with it. I think with lip products, the smell is a bigger factor for me than the taste – L’Oreal lippies don’t really taste like anything, but the overpowering flowery smell just puts me off.

Whatever ingredient makeslipgloss minty causess my lips to crack and peel, so it’s an absolute no. But smell is far more important than flavor anyway. Unless you ARE a lip licker, you don’t really taste your lipgloss, but no matter what, you do smell it. Whether it’s vanilla (yum) or fruity, I’m fine, as long as it has some smell other than the raw lab ingredient smell some unscented brands (like Clinique) have.

I don’t WANT my lipgloss to be flavored but I don’t mind if it is. I’d prefer a mild fruity or vanilla taste to a sticky plastic taste. I think smell is more important than flavour, I love unscented lipglosses.

No. I’d be happy if all makeup was unscented, i’m sensitive to artificial smells. For example, i never use any Yves Saint Laurent products because of the horrible scent they use.

My ultimate preference would be scented but not taste like anything! I don’t mind either way (Sally Hansen’s unscented Lip Inflation and MAC’s delicious vanilla flavour come to mind) but I really dislike when it’s unscented but smells and tastes horrible: Clinique, I’m looking at you.

I love mint and cinnamon oils in my gloss for plumping and taste. Sweet glosses are ok too as long as they don’t have saccharin in them. Candy Kisses makes the most delicious glosses of all time!

I also don’t lick my lips. I’m more on the scent side. If it smells too sweet I may be able to handle it but if it smells really unpleasant I am likely to not use it.

I don’t care so much about the flavour as I do about the fragrance.
If it smells great and tastes great, that’s fine. But if it smells great and has no flavour, that’s fine too. I hate when it smells great and tastes like crap though.
But overall, I don’t really care if it has a good taste or even if it has a fragrance.
