A very LOOOOONG time ago, Lancome did their mattes in a slender tube. I use to wear the red on top of Prescriptives fudge liner religiously for that epic 90′s brown red look. I must have gotten traumatized by MAC’s matte lipsticks because I refuse to wear them but if these are truly moisturizing I may give it a go!
Posh Pink is truly lovely but I have a feeling Plum Show would be better suited for my skin tone.

They don’t look very matte, but they still look really pretty for what they are. I’m looking forward to trying them. I’m still on the hunt for a great true matte lipstick though.

Light rosy scent – it’s kind of the Lancome signature scent but it’s as subtle as I’ve ever smelled from Lancome.
Stylista and Posh Pink are right down my alley.

Hi Christine! Do these lipsticks have good MAC (or other) dupes that you can think of. I LOVE the look of Sylista, Posh Pink, Corset, Lucky Kiss, Pink Preview and Red Haute! I’m in Canada so I don’t have access to them but I just think that 6 of these are gorgeous! It must be the finish or something that is making these look so amazing to me. Thanks!
You might try the Cremesheen line – it is a little more of a sheen and not as creamy, but they have a slightly satin-y, semi-matte feel. I don’t think MAC has anything quite like Corset or Stylista, though!
Which shade of Chanel Rouge Coco closest to Lancome’s Red Haute? Or a similar true, bright red lipstick.

do you think stylista would be good as a nude/natural lip for a bolder eye look, I’m an NC42/43 and I’m not too sure about velvet teddy, or maybe bobbi brown pink? it seems to look pretty natural on you!
