Chanel Orient Extreme Collection for Summer 2010
Lushious Beauty shared an ultra-divine collection by Chanel recently, and The Cut confirmed we’ll be seeing it stateside!
The products were created for the Paris-Shanghai show that took place last December. This collection will be exclusive to Chanel boutiques (of which there are not too many).
Le Vernis ($25.00)
- Illusion D’or (450) Clear with gold sparkle
- Gold Lame (440) Copper gold
- Black Velvet (430) Matte black
Ligne et Ombre de Chanel ($45.00)
- Jet-Gold Matte black eyeliner / gold eyeshadow
Availability: April 1st at Chanel (15 E. 57th St., nr. Fifth Ave.; 212-355-5050).

Boutiques only as far as I know! I know distribution seems to be very, very exclusive/limited.

This look is 100% re-creatable with previous Chanel products except for Illusion D’Or polish. Have at it girls!

But, my god, I’m loving that gold eyeshadow and black eyeliner combo that those models are rocking. Going to have to find a cheaper alternative though. >_< I already splurged on a Guerlain palette that you reviewed. Any chance you've got a dupe in mind for the gold eyeshadow?

I don’t know of anything off hand, but I think something with a creamier finish would probably be a must. NARS’ Cream Eyeshadows might do the trick!
I like the gold color from Urban Decay, it is called “Honey”.
i’d think a paler gold shade would be prettier than this yellow-gold… I guess I should wait until the swatches roll out but didn’t chanel release a gold a year or so back too?

It sounds like mostly Chanel Boutiques will be getting them, but I don’t have word on exactly where.
