Benefit 10 Powder for Highlighting & Bronzing

Benefit 10 Powder ($28.00) is a combination highlighter and bronzing duo. If you’ve seen Benefit’s other powders like CORALista or Dandelion, it’s the same idea, but the powder is split in half — half is a bronzer, half is a highlighter. The highlighter is a light, milky silvery-pink with soft sheen but no real glitter particles (that’s a good thing, by the way). The bronzer is similar in texture and sheen, except it’s a peachy-bronze color with gold sheen. You can see how I used it in a look here.
10 is one of those products that takes some trial and error before you can appreciate its genius. Once you do get the hang of it, though, it is a grab-and-go kind of experience. I personally used the 168 and 169 respectively for this product, and I found it worked just right for me. I do suggest using a light hand initially, so you don’t over-do it or get a ruddy/muddy result. The highlighter is just that–a highlighter–so unless you are extremely fair, don’t go into it expecting to use it as a pink blush!

This is really pretty…where on your face did you use the highlighter/bronzer…and if you could rec. a red lip that looks similar to the one you used as well I’d be very appreciative!
I used the highlighter on cheeks, bronzer more to contour
You could try New York Apple
Thank you very much!
I bought this actually 3 weeks ago and returned it because i couldn’t get it to work for me. Also, the pink highlighter didn’t look exactly right on me. It is probably because i have more gold in my skin, so i use a gold highlighter instead. However, I did like the bronzer but a bit much shimmer for my liking.
Great product, just not for me, i guess !
That’s too bad it didn’t work out for you, V! Alas, that is the nature of beauty products sometimes – works for some, doesn’t for others, yeah?
I know this is supposed to be about the Benefit 10 Powder…but just wanted to say I went to Sephora and tried the Coralista powder and it looked GORGEOUS!!!! Would have purchased it had I not filled my little basket with other things. Next time FOR SURE.
LOL!
Hey, it’s still about Benefit at least, right? So you’re on topic
Glad you liked it, and hope you get it soon!
GORGEOUS! I don’t have any highlighter, this looks really pretty! I’m gonna take a look at our mini Sephora in the Netherlands… maybe I can find it!
I hope you can find it, Mikki
Actually today i almost bought it today, but i had doubts concerning the shimmer in the bronzer. My ma at Sephora told me to wait because two faced is going to release a similar product that has not such shimmer to it, i don’t know if it’s new because things always take so long to come to Portugal. Oh well… at least i bought Boiing and i love it, even better then studio finish concealer
Do let us know what you think about the Too Faced one when you get it
the highlighting powder looks gorgeous!
Think you’ll take a look at it next time you’re near a Benefit counter?
hi christine,do you think the bronzer is too shimmery and too light to be used for contouring?
someone suggested me to get MAC’s blush in harmony for contouring.
benefit’s 10 looks like 2 different highlight tones for me, not a bronzer+highlight. maybe you could give me your 2 cents on this…XO
I think it’s too shimmery for contouring myself! You might try MAC MSFN in a shade 1-2 darker than you.
