Zoya Luna Nail Lacquer Review, Photos, Swatches
Winter Wonderland: Zoya Luna Nail Lacquer
Zoya Luna Nail Lacquer ($7.00) is the third shade in Zoya’s Ultra Glitter winter collection (which also featured Nova, a raspberry pink, and Astra, a reddish pink, reviewed previously). Luna is a sheer silver shimmered base with bright and dark silver small glitter particles. It’s a very wintry, holiday-esque kind of color. It wears well, and it’s not too difficult to remove (certainly not any more so than the average glitter polish). I used Zoya’s Color Lock System for this and got a week’s wear with very minor tip wear–but considering I type all day, I was pleasantly surprised at just how minimal it was.

While I loved Astra and Nova, I hated Luna! I love silver glitter, but the gray base made my nails look dirty/dusty. 🙁 I only kept it to wear at my (totally geeky) BF’s annual Moon Landing Day party, haha!
I wasn’t all that interested in Zoya’s glitters before this… but I might need this one for my glitter tips. I did my first glitter tips NOTW this week using loose glitter and it was 1) really hard and 2) a huge mess, LOL, but it looks like I could achieve those kind of results using this polish since it’s such a dense glitter! Now if only they made glitters in all colors of the rainbow too.
I ordered this, can’t wait for it to come! Love the holiday look in this.
I must confess I’m jealous of your perfect cuticles, Christine 🙂
