I’ve been lusting after this palette for ages! would be an everyday go to, for a daytime neutral eye or even a dramatic smokey eye. It’s perfect.
Such a lovely palette! I would wear it every day, I find it very versatile.
I’d use the bottom left shade as a “smoothing base” all over my lid and up to the brow bone before applying the taupe-y shade (bottom row, 2nd from right) allover my lid and then the top right brown into the crease and under my lower lashes. A light shade again for inner corner/inner lower lid and one of the more deep skin toned shades to blend out the crease.
I don’t actually have a lot of matte eyeshadows so I’d be able to experiment with those and create different looks.
I would wear this every day for work! I would make soft, neutral looks. Could also do darker looks for going out with friends and family.
i’d wear a jeweled smokey eye. Those purples are calling to me!
I love natural makeup, so that’s what I would use it for. This looks perfect.

I’d wear this for a classy daytime “interview” type look, or use darker colors for an evening smokey eye. So many possibilities!
I’m not very good at applying a look with all matte shades, to be honest. So this would be the perfect complementary palette for me. This palette has all the great transitions shades and a great range to create a great shadow in the crease or smudged under the eyes. It’s totally gorgeous, and lucky me, it totally compliments my hazel eyes! 🙂
Totally in love with the middle row! Especially ‘Best Friend’ and ‘Bombshell’. I’m also all for that gorgeous ‘Power Player’!
Right now im really into combining purples, taupes and nudes. The combination of Force of Natura on the lid, Best Friend in the Crease and Bombshell to define te outer V is calling my name.
I would LOVE this pallette! I feel like it would pair really well with shades from the Naked3. 🙂
I would use this palette everyday! Smoky purple, neutral Browns, and a wash of soft pink.

I would wear a purple smokey eye.
I’d do a neutral day look that I can add some drama too at night by adding one of the darker colors in the crease.
I don’t usually do smokey eyes, but this palette changes everything. I would create a mauvey purple smokey eye, with some warm brown blended on the lower lid!

Im 62 and i love trying everything new and follow all the latest blogs in makeup. It seems like everything is shimmer, front and just creates an older look to my face with all the sparkle. I would love to use a complete matte look to enhance hazel eyes. Im looking forward to trying the new tartes palatte so much!! Its exciting to know that mattes are now coming back!! And i love colors not just neutrals!

A matte palette would fit into a whole new niche in my makeup collection! I particularly love the slightly unique middle row- I’d definitely enjoy using the darker two shades in the crease/outer corner in the evenings and the lighter pinky shades in the day time (lightest all over then lid, second lightest in crease)
From what I’ve seen, this is a great quality palette of mattes. I’d wind up using it for work looks and going out looks!
I would use the lighter colors (a blend of the pink hues in the crease and blend into the inner corner, outer, and deepen with with the softer brown colors) to create soft natural looks for the day time and use the darker colors for a smokey cut crease for going out at night. I would pair the first look with a nude color like nyx matte lip cream in Stockholm or velvet teddy by Mac.

In the autumn, with blazers and as the leafs fall, and during the winter – as the winds blow.
I love matte neutrals, I think it’s so classy! I’d wear a light colour all over my lid and then I’d add a mid tone brown in my crease.

This palette would be great for me to use everyday. I prefer mattes, and this is a nice collection of them, and I have a few other Tarte matte shadows that I like quite well. I see a few colors that I could use to make some nice evening looks as well, and the darker shades I could use as liners. Very nice palette.

I received the Vice 3 few days ago, and honestly, I’m finding hard to use it because I don’t have a lot of neutrals mattes to match it! … I wish this palette was still in stock at my Sephora… Wish I could win it, hihi!

Since all of these shadows are matte and there are a number of mid tones, I think this would be a great palette for a day look when I want something pretty but subdued for going to class!

Love the matte purple toned shades in this palette. I’d use power player all over the lid as a base, intensifying the outer and inner corner with best friend. I’d then put bombshell in the crease and intensify the outer v even further with just a little touch of fashionista. To highlight my brow bone and inner corner I’d use super mom 🙂

I would used this one to give more depth to my daily looks
I really like the way this neutral matte palette has light, medium-light, medium-dark, and dark shades of yellowish, pinkish, and beige shades. For each row, I’d use the lightest shade from lashline to eyebrows, contour my crease with the two mid-tone shades, and line my eyes with the darkest shade. Sometimes I would add some shimmery colors to my mobile lids — a bright, shimmery look needs these kinds of neutral mattes to ground it, in my opinion!
With a bold red lipstick!

This looks like the perfect everyday eyeshadow palette! I’d get most use from the lighter colours for sure. I’d apply the darker colours from the third vertical row in the outer third and crease, and use the darkest shades to create a liner.

This would be great for work travel. I often have to do 1-2 day trips for work, this looks compact, totally work appropriate and could still give me a variety of looks. Omg you always have the best give aways? Well, I just assume all of them are international (and I really hope so), and you often give away US only items! I’d probably do a dramatic cool toned cut crease with this using the middle row! But it’s very versatile and would be the perfect palette for everyday wear as well!

I have hooded eyes and find mattes draw less attention to it, so this would definitely be my go to palette daily. I love the middle row – I’d use the light pink shade as a matte brow bone highlight, the beige shade all over the lid, the rosy mauve in the crease and the deep plum as a liner. Cool browns and plums compliment my pale pink toned skin.

This is such a everyday go to palette! Great for daytime eyewear when I’m at work since they are neutral colors but also for night time when I want a nice smokey eye. This is my first ever entry here, and the first time I have ever wanted a palette… Most palettes are too warm toned, too shimmery or too meh, or too my goodness, a parrot has lost its feathers… No palettes ever matches my weird skin tone of partly neutral partly olive with cooler undertones… But when I saw this palette, my jaw frankly dropped!!! My my my, I want to worship you!!! And then… Typical it is a brand that is pretty impossible to get hold of in my cold northern part of the arctic hemisphere… But Thanks to beautiful Christine and the Temptalia team, I at least now know it exists!!!

I love the shades, lots of taupy/purpely undertones, right up my street ! Since these are matte shadows, I’d wear them to work, since you can achieve very sophisticated looks with this palette !
I’d definitely use this palette for wearable, everyday looks – from going to work, to having lunch with friends. I’d also transition it to night, using the dark colors to make my look deeper and smokier. I think it’d be great to play with pinkier nude tones, which I don’t have any of!

I would use the matte eyeshadows as part of a bold, striking smokey eye. Whilst matte eyeshadows can be less forgiving and harder to blend than shimmery ones, i feel they are more effective when trying to achieve an impactive look.

I call myself an Eyeshadow Enthusiast (some might say addict) but the colours I will reach for again and again are always the purples, pinks, maroons & peaches.
My eyes look like a weird mishmash of colors but with these colored shadows, they glisten the most seductive green.
So, yes I have piles of palettes in these colours, what I don’t have is these colors in matte shades (they are notoriously hard to find) so what would I do with this palette? What WOULDNT. I do with this palette is probably the better question!

This pallete is gorgeous! The colors are perfect for a natural makeup, which I would do as a part of my daily routine. I can also darken things up a bit and use the dark colors as liners!
I don’t have a lot of matte eye shadows and I think this would be a great addition for daytime makeup. I’m going to start working in a hospital soon and sadly wearing sparkly makeup isn’t really an option anymore. I’d also use it when my mom asks me to do her makeup because she loves the matte look.

What’s great about this palette is the colors are perfect for year round use. If I want to go out and spend the day with my husband just exploring, I would do a beautiful minimalist look that made me stand out but might make others just what it was about me. For nice events I could go for a smokey look if I’m trying to charm and mildly seduce my husbands clients. Though it’s the knife community so maybe a more edgy look for that. Family gatherings I’d see what I was wearing and use the colors as a bit of added glow and warmth since I got very lucky with them. Honestly, this palette has some of my favorite colors that I’ve been searching for. It would end up being my goto palette for sure. It would help me feel more confident in trying to advance my skills as a hopeful licensed artist one day but mainly this one is pure indulgence that I could really use right now.

I would wear this out to lunch or dinner using the matte plummy brown on the lid with the warm brown in the crease blended well and the darker brown in the outer v. I would highlight with the pinkier color, line with the black on the top lash line and the dark purple on the bottom.

This would just be so great for everyday looks as well as more dramatic ones. Awesome for traveling because you can do solo many looks from this. Personally I like Matte Palettes much better than shiny ones as they don’t limit the looks so much. Shiny/Shimmery shades tend to reflect light too much so doing a matte look and highlighting it with something more light reflecting where you want it or need it is my go to.

I’ve been waiting for a large, all-matte palette like this!! I’m very fair-skinned, so I would apply Free Spirit all over the lid. Then I would apply Wanderer in my crease. For the outer corners, I would use Dreamer. To finish, I would line with Multi-Tasker. I would highlight the inner corners of my eyes using Super Mom (cute name). Love this palette! This palette is very versatile, so I would probably put some looks together only using the shades here, but in all honesty I think I would use it mainly as a compliment for other looks (for transitioning, highlighting and darkening), since I normally use some kind of shimmer eyeshadow on most of my looks.

It’s maaaatte!!!! Love it! It’s like a bigger better version of my trusty Naked2Basics. I’d use this every single day, for all kinds of smokey looks. I could create a very subtle classic smokey eye for the day and make it stronger for the night time.
This is definitely one of those palettes you can use on its own without adding anything from another one but since I love glitter so much I could add a little extra with a soft glitter line on the lower lash line for example.

I would wear quite a subtle eye with marsala coloured lipstick. This is perfect subtle matte eye palette.
I would wear this a lot, I think it can be combined with most of the palettes I already own, especially the Naked 3!

I would use this palette for everything! haha It has some gorgeous dark shades for a night look and neutral tones for a daily look. The shade I like most is Best friend, I would apply it all over my lid, put on the crease Multi tasker and highlight the inner corner and brow with Super mom. Then eyeline with Fashionista 🙂

Not much experience with matte eyeshadows. But since everyone seems to love them, I’d like to try. Maybe it’s the perfect everyday pallette?
I would a very basic natural and neutral eye.
I gravitate towards earthy, matte eyeshadows so I would use a warm light brown for transition and a light shade on the lid for a neutral look. At night, I would darken the crease and outer corner, then add a mid brown or taupe on the bottom lash line for a sultry look.
Such a gorgeous palette, I’ve been lusting after it since it came out. I’m a sucker for matte shadows. I’d probably find a way to incorporate in every look since it’s so versatile !

I love matte eye shadows for it’s ability to hide wrinkle that starts develop on my eyelids 🙁 Regardless it’s blending quality (compared to most shimmers eye shadow), in my personal opinion, I think matte eye shadows looks can give a “mysterious” impression. The light color are perfect for daytime and the dark ones are perfect to create smoky look for a night time.

I would use this palette to create a neutral look with the pink (#1 on the 2nd row), then use color that’s 3rd over on the bottom row on my lid, & use the color 3rd over on the 2nd row on my crease & wear this for a neutral daytime look.

I’d wear the softer, muted colors for an everyday, natural look and then darken it up and make it more smokey by adding the darker/plum colors to the crease, outer v and lower lash line for more of a night time, going out look. 🙂

Gee, I’m such a sucker for eyeshadow palettes especially this one. I heard pigmentation is good on this palette. The bottom right 4 are the ones I really have my eye on. I also have been wanting the blush that comes with the Tartlette collection.
This would be my first experimenting with a matte palette. But very excited cuz I think matte would look even better for the natural look which I go for my everyday look.
First thing I do with matte..neutrals is I find my eyebrow color. Then I usually find a good dark color for liner. I use my brushes wet when applying to brows..and for liner.
I like how this is set up by row. The top row is a nice day eye, the middle a sweet romantic look and the bottom a smoky nightime. And of course you can mix and match. I love Tarte’s shadows and I’m excited to try mattes!

I’d start with a slight dark shade and then work up the lid to a very light shade, possibly the one on the top left. That is usually how I apply shadow. 🙂
