Thanks to Beauty.com, one (1) lucky Temptalia reader will win an Amika Trio in giraffe print that features a mini hair dryer, curling iron, and flat iron ($199 value).  This giveaway is for U.S. readers only.

The approximate value of the grand prize is $199.00. This prize is non-transferable. There are no cash or other substitutes of prizes by winner. Temptalia reserves the right to substitute similar prizes of equal or greater value in the event the above prize is unavailable for any reason. Individual, parent, or legal guardian of the winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes with respect to the grand prize. Prize will be mailed to the winner’s physical mailing address. Please allow six (6) to eight (8) weeks for delivery.

By entering or accepting the prize in this contest, winner agrees  to be bound by these Official Rules, Terms, and Conditions and to conform to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.

No purchase necessary to enter or win. This contest runs from September 30th, 2011 through October 5th, 2011 at 12:01AM EST.

Eligibility

This contest is open to U.S. readers only unless prohibited by their local state/country. Prizes won by minors will be awarded to their parent or legal guardian on their behalf. For reference, the age of majority is 18 years old in the United States, with the exception of Alabama (19), Delaware (19), Mississippi (21), and Nebraska (19). The number of eligible entries received determines the odds of winning. Eligible participants are allowed to enter up to one (1) time, as per the section below.

How to Win

One (1) winner will be selected through a random drawing from all eligible entries after contest closes. In the event that the original winner does not meet eligibility requirements or he/she forfeits the prize, the prize may be awarded to the next randomly drawn eligible participant. All entries must be received on or before October 5th, 2011 at 12:01AM EST. The winners will be notified via e-mail or message (as applicable). Winners will have 48 hours to claim prize after initial notification. If winner fails to claim within 48 hours, an alternative winner may be selected.

My expensive flat iron recently stopped working after only 6 months! Instead of using the warranty to have a new one sent to me, I’ve been shopping around for another (hopefully more reliable) brand. It’d be great to try out Amika’s flat iron for the first time.

I’d love to check out the curling iron! I’ve got very fine hair and it’s quite hard to get it to hold a curl ,though part of it may be that I use my chi straightener to curl it. IT always takes tons of hair spray and styling products and it will still fall out by the end of the evening.

How crazy?! I was just looking at this set online the other night and fell completely in love with it. <3 However, the price (eek!) I cant afford at this time so it would be awesome to win! I’d love to try (like everyone else) the curling iron. I bought one for my BFF for last Christmas bc she wanted it and I never really know about it until then but once I saw her hair done I was in shock how pretty it was! I just haven’t had the time nor the resources to by myself one 🙁 but I know it works And it does a darn good Job on it! Can’t wait to try it on my own hair!!! Can u believe I haven’t even thought about asking her to let me borrow it until now lol

That giraffe print is to die for! I’d start with the curling iron for sure since mine is one of the old ones with a clip–wrapping hair around the barrel instead of using the clip creates a much prettier look, in my opinion.

Ahhh i love giraffe print and giraffes! Have you ever seen that commercial with the mini giraffe on a treadmill and the guy with the russian accent saying “i love savings the money!”….? My boyfriend says he’ll find me a mini giraffe LOL but i think this trio might be better!

I’m most excited for the hair dryer. It’s not every day you see a mini defuser on a mini hair dryer. Last week the airport lost my luggage so I was forced to go out and buy a new flat iron. I bought an Amika iron, and now I’m a huge fan.

Def the flat iron. I have typical Asian hair (meaning kinda wavy but mostly straight) so I never bothered dishing out for a good flat iron. Have always been curious though! Esp since they supposedly can be used as a curling!

I am most excited for the clip-less iron! I don’t have any clip-less ones but use them as so, and sometimes I get a couple kinks because of the clip, so to have an actual clip-less would be fantastic!

I’m most excited about the flat iron! Lately i’ve been really loving my Remington flat iron that I just bought BUT…i have super fine hair and that thing, even at lowest heat setting, is a little too hot for my hair. :\ Not to mention I just want to try a high end flat iron to see how different it is from a cheaper drugstore type. 😀
