Celebrating Labor Day with Ebates!

The first giveaway was so successful, we have another fantastic one lined up with Ebates!

If you’re not familar with Ebates, it’s a program that allows you to earn cash back on your online purchases whenever you shop through Ebates. For example, if you sign-up, click-through their Sephora link, then you would get 8% cash back on any purchase made at Sephora. Every three months, Ebates pays you (via check or PayPal) any cash back you’ve earned.  You can either sign-up through Temptalia (which is a referral link), or you can simply go to Ebates.com directly to sign-up.

From Labor Day, Ebates is offering extra cash back on the following retailers:

  • Athleta, Banana Republic, GAP (10%)
  • JCPenney (5%)
  • Sears (4%)
  • The Body Shop (10%)
  • Walmart (2%)

The Prize

To celebrate the Labor Day weekend, we have a fabulous giveaway featuring everyone’s favorite–cold hard cash–with three winners (U.S. residents only).  One (1) grand prize winner will receive $100, while two runner-ups will each receive $50!

For official rules… 

The approximate value of the grand prize is $100.00, runner-up prizes are $50.00 each. This prize is non-transferable. There are no substitutes of prizes by winner. Temptalia reserves the right to substitute similar prizes of equal or greater value in the event the above prize is unavailable for any reason. Individual, parent, or legal guardian of the winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes with respect to the grand prize. Prize will be mailed to the winner’s physical mailing address. Please allow six (6) to eight (8) weeks for delivery.

By entering or accepting the prize in this contest, winner agrees  to be bound by these Official Rules, Terms, and Conditions and to conform to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.

No purchase necessary to enter or win. This contest runs from September 2nd, 2011 through September 5th, 2011 at 11:59PM PST.

Eligibility

This contest is open to U.S. residents only unless prohibited by their local state/country. Prizes won by minors will be awarded to their parent or legal guardian on their behalf. For reference, the age of majority is 18 years old in the United States, with the exception of Alabama (19), Delaware (19), Mississippi (21), and Nebraska (19). The number of eligible entries received determines the odds of winning. Eligible participants are allowed to enter up to one (1) time, as per the section below.

How to Win

One (1) grand prize winner and (2) runner-ups will be selected through a random drawing from all eligible entries after contest closes. In the event that the original winner does not meet eligibility requirements or he/she forfeits the prize, the prize may be awarded to the next randomly drawn eligible participant. All entries must be received on or before September 5th, 2011 at 11:59PM PST. The winners will be notified via e-mail. Winners will have 48 hours to claim prize after initial notification. If winner fails to claim within 48 hours, an alternative winner may be selected.

sephora is definitely my fav! 😀 i love the free shipping over $50 and there return policy is fantastic! and the have wonderful customer service. and i just love the way there website is set up! so easy to use and i can see everything and there are good descriptions and ratings. and i love how you can always get free samples!

My favorite online retail store hands down is Sephora.com because they have such a great selection. I can never find the items I want in the store and I also get 4%-8% cash back from Ebates for shopping online. Although, I will say that I recently purchased my first couple of MAC brushes from Nordstroms.com and they were great. I called to add a back up 226 brush to my order, but it had already shipped. They were nice enough to ship me out the back up with no additional shipping charges. I will now make all of my upcoming MAC purchases from Nordstrom. com and get 5% cash back from Ebates =).

I love shopping at Nordstrom.com! I always use Ebates to make my online purchase and use their pick up in store option. Its the best of both worlds because I get the cash back and I get my item within a couple of hours!!

I like Sephora because I can buy makeup from my favorite brands, as well as brushes, hair products, and hair tools. I like that they always give three samples and free shipping for $50+ orders.I have never had a bad experience with them!

Hands down Sephora. It has (almost) everything you are looking for from makeup to skincare to hair products. I’ve used Ebates to get cash back from my recent Sephora purchase!

Sephora because:

1) They offer free shipping for making a purchase at a reasonable price ($50).

2) They have a good (but not all sadly) selection of high end brands. I can combine my purchase from various brands, a YSL mascara, a Too Faced eye shadow palette, a Dior eyeliner, etc. as opposed to buying just Dior products from Dior website in which I have to buy a lot in order to get free shipping.

3) They offer samples. I like this because I have discovered many good beauty items just from trying samples given in the past.

4) They have a very good return policy and I can conveniently return items that don’t work for me in stores.

5) The company has good customer service whether online or in store, thus I’m supporting their business.

I love shopping at Sephora.com! It makes it so easy for me to buy my goodies without having to drive to the mall and risk having my items be out of stock. Getting some Ebates cash back doesn’t hurt at all either!

sephora/MAC however mac doesn’t have ebates which makes me sad, however nordstom does… and now its always free shipping soooo it’s definatly moving up.

I think based on website design, I love Benefit’s website. It’s kitschy fun, but for actually products I have to remain loyal to Sephora. Sephora has just about ever non-MAC product I could ever desire <3.

My favorite beauty online retailer would definitely have to be Sephora. They carry so many brands, it’s endless. Whatever i’m looking for, they have it. What I like about Sephora is that they have free samples, a point program, and always have free shipping if you spend $50 or more.

I love online shopping since it is so convenient and easy and, most times, alot cheaper than from physical stores. My most favorite place to shop has to be Drugstore.com/Beauty.com. It’s a total one-stop shop for me since I can do my regular drugstore haul along with all the high-end products I’m faithful to1 I simply love it! And the free-shipping offer for all $25+ orders is the best deal ever!

I can’t pick one 🙁 I do about 80% of my cosmetics shopping from Sephora and Nordstrom. Ulta comes behind them. Some of the places I use do not use Ebates … So, if yall shop with someone who does not use Ebates. Email that company and email Ebates.

If I HAVE to pick just one, (lol) I would say Sephora. I like to shop there because you get to earn points to use for those extra perks. It is all about saving money these days. I try to shop when the retailer has sales, I ALWAYS use Ebates, and on top of that, I earn the point perks, and recieve samples. You really can’t beat that. I also love that Sephora always has those great codes to get deluxe-size samples on top of the three free samples. I think Sephora is one of the best for that. Oh, and let us not forget the hassle-free, FREE returns.

You would think my favorite online beauty retailer would be Chanel, since that is my first name as I was named after Chanel N 5, but my favorite beauty online retailer by far is Laura Mercier. With every order she graciously includes 3 fabulous deluxe samples of your choice which always makes my a happy camper!
