From reading your reviews of the non LE versions I don’t think I’d wear a lipstick with this. They look lovely on their own. Thanks for this exciting giveaway, would love to try a Chanel lip gloss!

Crystal Avatar

I’d pair this beautiful lip gloss with she who dares and bite of an apple blush from the mac venomous villains collection for a really nice evening look!

Oh, this is my favorite color from the new gloss line and I’d love to have it. I’d pair it with a played down cheek, maybe MAC Blushbaby or Tenderling, a nude eye and dramatic full lashes.

lia Avatar

oo, this is one of my favorite colors! I think it would look great without any lipstick underneath (it’s sooo pigmented), or maybe a darker red? Edward Bess’s Deep Lust is the only one that I have that fits the bill.

I’d wear the gloss by itself! I find dark lipsticks look too heavy on me, but dark glosses work! They add color but are translucent enough. I love the brown-red glaze of this gloss.

thank you Christine for giving us the chance to win thsi product. Personally I will pair impertinence extrait de gloss with the Rouge cocco rose chintz from Chanel fall collection… twe two shades of peach will complement each other fairly well.

Extrait de Gloss is so wonderful product. I’m big fun of Chanel but I didn’t use glosses a lot. That one is just perfect. It has more pigment than some lipsticks. Frankly I would wear it alone but if it needed I would pair in with Chanel Lipliner in Carmin or lipstick Rouge Coco rouge noir.

Oh come on… Having a Chanel gloss is far enough as a beauty routine!!! Or as a gorgeous blonde once said: I only wear a drop of no. 5 when I go to bed…

Shanna Avatar

I’m not sure I own a lipstick that would go well with that gloss. I don’t have a lot of darker colored lip products; I think the darkest one I own is On Hold or maybe By Degrees slimshine. I’d try it with one of those, but assuming a probable fail, I’d just wear it alone 😀

I would let this be the star, keep everything else neutral/muted. R&R Spank on the cheeks and a neutral eye, probably using the Naked palette. Maybe Naked as a wash, Buck in the crease and Virgin as a brow highlight. And Benefit Highbeams for that glowly look, really glamorous!

Priscilla Avatar

I’m into sheer amounts of color on my lips. I’m still in school so a lip might not be the best option. But this is a beautiful color that just adds the right amount of color, and is fashionable enough for fall!
So I would wear this alone.

Thanks for hosting this!

Cindy Avatar

I think this is a color I would wear by itself. It looks like its rich in color. I’ve never tried Chanel makeup so id like to experience it on its own.

Rabiya Avatar

I would probably either wear it alone or with macs russian red or sinister from the venomous villains collection
The russian red so it would be a deep red similar to dark deed from the villains collection or with sinister to make the brown hue pop more

Janet Avatar

I’d definitely just wear it alone!
Oooh, I really hope I win this… I’m on of the crazy, crazy few who’ve never owned anything from Chanel.

Valerie Avatar

I feel you would simply have to pair a CHANEL lipstick with a CHANEL gloss! After first trying Impertinence on its own, I would pair it with CHANEL Rouge Coco Gabrielle to bring out the red in the gloss and then try it with CHANEL Rouge Coco Mademoiselle to enhance the deeper brown tones.

Michelle Avatar

I rarely wear both lipstick and lipgloss. This color also looks dark enough to for me to wear alone. So I’d be a purist and wear it alone 🙂

Susan Avatar

I want to win this product so that I can try a Chanel lip product! The color looks amazing I would not pair it with anything else. I’d let it shine on it’s own!

Maria Jouravleva Avatar

I just bought Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Stain in Wink of Pink thinking it would come out more pink. I discovered, however, that it was a really unique red and would go perfect with this lip gloss. Its gorgeous on its own, or with this lip stain. I think you could also wear it on top of MAC’s Heartless (Venomous Villains Collection)

Petra Avatar

I’d wear it alone – I usually dislike the feeling of too many product on my lips. And I have allergies, so I end up blowing my nose a lot, leading to whiping off the product from my lips. 🙁

Su Ann Avatar

I’ll wear it on its own, or over a deep red lipstick (which I still haven’t found a perfect one for me), so looks like I’ll have to wear it on its own haha

Susan Avatar

This looks like it would be beautiful on it’s own–I’d like to wear it with a neutral lip-coloured liner [MAC Dervish, on me] then blot the gloss to give a stained look. Love it!

Jessica Avatar

this is so pretty by itself….but if I had to wear something else, I’d go for an iridescent blue-ish tint, like the hot pink color with iridescent shimmer (NYC blue rose) dabbed on the inner part the lips

Kelly Avatar

Going out I’d wear it over Lancome Rouge Velour. But to work I’d wear it alone. Although, if I wore it to work the lady in accounting will give me her “well well, aren’t we a sophisticated heathen!” look.

Laila Avatar

It’s so beautiful, I wouldn’t mind wearing it by itself, but since the rules say that I have to pair it up with something, mine would be Mac’s Russian Red.

Liz Avatar

Because of how it was described, I’d try it with something like LQ Medieval, and maybe a red-brown (I can’t recall, I have a Chanel lipstick that’d work well), and also alone. (What? I like the idea of it working well in many ways!)

Anne Akers Avatar

Wow … what a perfect beautiful/sexy red for the upcoming holidays.I could wear this so many ways.By itself or layered over top a beautiful golden lipstick or with Chanel Galactic glossimer over top this beauty for some bling !!!
