What's your go-to sunscreen when you head to the beach/pool?

What’s your go-to sunscreen when you head to the beach/pool? When you know you’ll be outdoors for awhile?

Shiseido’s lotion for face & body is usually what I grab! OR Neutrogena’s Dry Touch.

My absolute favorite go-to sunscreen is Fotoprotector Solar Fusion Fluid by a Spanish “cosmeceuticals” brand called ISDIN.

On my face lately I’ve been liking Kiss My Face for Face & Neck (but I’m always open to trying out the perfect sunscreen for my face). But on my body I use Coppertone for babies. I have to use a baby sunscreen on my body because I have a sun allergy and get really itchy otherwise.

I have a closet full of different types and strengths of spf- I love Neutrogena products. We go through it so quickly, I tend to buy whatever is on sale. On my face I like to use a bb cream or tinted moisturizer that has a 15 or 30 spf. I find that regular sunscreen on my face makes me break out and also ends up running in my eyes and stinging.

I have super sensitive skin and have a hard time finding sunscreen I can put on my face. I bought Hypoallergenic Face Lotion by Aruba Aloe while in Aruba and will never use anything else. It’s nice and moisturizing for my dryyyyy skin too!

I haven’t found a body one I really like (though Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch is one I don’t hate fwiw), but for my face I love Peter Thomas Roth Uber Dry SPF 30. Yes, it’s meant for the body, but it’s never broken me out and the 4 oz size plus price (~$26) make it hard to justify use on my body. It’s very matte and sweat/water resistant so it’s great for my oily skin and our humid summers.

Neutrogena is the best. Their spf product line has something for everyone. I am very pale and burn easily. I like dry touch and their face moisturizer. Their products do not irritate the skin.

For the beach or pool I use Vanicream SPF 60. No need for vanity – i’m trying not to get burned! For around town or under makeup it’s Elta MD or SunBears (if I can get it).

Hi,
As someone who lives in Queensland, Australia, which has the highest rate of melanoma in the world, I know the importance of a good sunscreen. I need to inform you that any sunscreen that you purchase that does not have listed in its active ingredients either zinc or titanium is a waste of money. It will not protect you from sunburn and cancer. Only purchase sunscreen products which have either zinc or titanium in them.

Thanks.

I swear by VMV Armada line of sunscreens, they’re all hypo-allergenic and really protects so well. Dr Hauschka used to be my favorite but it was phased out already.
