Nude year round! I love Tom Ford Blush Nude and use it everyday. Right now, I’m layering it with Bobbi Brown Bellini lipgloss on top for a slightly pinker lip, but if I wanted a peachier/more coral look, I love it with Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Evasion!
This definetely hast to be “watch me simmer” by Mac! I love it!
Coral and Nude. Actually I prefer Nude, so I can use neon colors on my eyes and be happy *-*

MAC See Sheer and Lipglass Morange. Strangely enough, Morange doesn’t look as “loudmouth orange” on me as it does in swatch pictures.
MAC’s Vegas Volt, Viva Glam GaGa II or – most recently – Spice. Don’t know why I wear MAC more frequently in the summer than any other time.
I actually wear a variety of colors year round, though I do lean toward a lighter color spectrum in the summer. Pinks and fuschias rather than vampy reds and purples, etc.
The shades that probably get the most rotation – Covergirl Lip Perfection in Darling, Soulmate, and Eternal, Dior Lip Addict in Rose Shocking, and Bobbi Brown’s Party Alice.
I have three: Nude, Bright Pink and Orange… I base my lipstick on what I wear on my eyes.
I don’t change my lipstick colours for the summer. There are no seasons here except for Hot, Hotter & Hell, so I just stick to wearing whatever my mood dictates for that day or look.
Peach, Coral, Orange, Pinks of the bright variety, and Yellow/Orange Reds.

Anything that’s bright and fun! Fuchsia, watermelon pink, and orange come to mind!
Corals and bright pinks! Current coral fave is either Korres Mango Butter Lipstick in Coral or Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Kiss me Coral. Two brighter pinks that are in the rotation are MAC’s Speak Louder (cremesheen) and Revlon’s Persian Melon. Pair any of those with a shimmery gold eye, black mascara and some bronzer and that’s me every day in the summer!
Bright hot pinks! I actually wear them all year round but I guess I do have more opportunities to wear them during the summer.
Pink, pink coral or plum or red or sheer lipsticks in many shades. ( Roman Holiday, Niagara, Vendanges from NARS, Charme, Paradis, Magnolia, Candeur Coco Shine, Chance Coco Shine from Chanel, Pour troubler or Jardins de Bagatelle from Guerlain, Offshoot from M.A.C, and others !
I love Illamasqua Brick lipstick with a little gloss on top.
ooooh i love pinks! i just got Chanel Romance Rouge Coco Shine for this summer. It’s really well pigmented and just bright enough! So lovely.
i would say a bright pink lipstick or lipgloss, a la MAC show orchid or NYX’s dolly pink lipgloss =)
For work I stick with soft peaches and pinks. But otherwise, I like Fuschi for summer. I can do minimal make up otherwise and I’m done. Looking to get So Chaud this summer as well for another bright lip.
MAC – Quick Sizzle, Pink Pigeon, Hibiscious, Roman Holiday, Morange. I go to MAC first. Then a Revlon Coral and a few magenta/pink shades from Mabaly…..

Ohh I’m awful, I love dark lipsticks so red all the way and maybe some hot pinks like Illamasqua’s Atomic and sometimes Scandal!
I am loving Bobbi Brown lipstick in “Guava” which I saw on you Christine and right after that I went to Nordstrom and bought it. It was the last one there and so happy with my purchase. Thank you for your wonderful reviews and swatches. It makes me detail out my shopping list and be more diligent in my spending. 🙂

For summer, I like a sheer true red, or pinky-red.I also love some shimmer on top!
Me, too, Christine! MAC Cockney and MAC Lady Bug come to mind. But any coral/orange from any brand will satisfy.
A combination of MAC’s Asian Flower sheen supreme lipstick, Magenta lip liner & dazzleglass in Funtabulous! Makes for the perfect lilac color on me. Love it!

I love corals and orangey hues too for the summer! One of my favourites is a Paul & Joe from last summer’s collection. I also love light, moisturizing formulas so I go for my Chubby Sticks by Clinique, and this year the Colorburst Lip Butter by Revlon.
Mac See Sheer along with a touch of hover lip liner to prep my pigmented lips. Its such a pretty color and absolutely perfect with the minimal makeup I use in the face melting summer heat!
at the moment, revlon lip butters. don’t like the feeling of full lipstick when it’s hot out. any sheer red-pink just bitten color

I don’t have one specific go to color, but I love corals and oranges in the summer. Mac Morange and Vegas Volt are two of my favorites.And this year I’ve really been loving Mac Speed Dial for my go to bright pink. I just got Sail La Vie at Mac and I’m really excited to try it out!
Rouge Coco Shine in Aventure by Chanel is my favorite color for this summer. It’s bright, but light enough and feels really smooth on the lips.

Lately, Chanel Mademoiselle. It’s just perfect for dressing up my stupidly pigmented lips without being bright (since I’ve been very neutral all over, or bright eyes lately).
