I wear liquid foundation, set with Guerlain Wulong, Tom Ford Lovelust blush (or Korres Natural), fill in brows, a couple coats of mascara, Tarina Tarantino Spark of Envy eyeliner, and then whatever Bobbi Brown High Shimmer Lipgloss I have in my purse (probably Pink Sequin or Naked Plum).

Woah, no eyeshadow?? :O If it’s a casual date, then I usually just use tinted moisturizer or bb cream, conceal any bigger blemishes, then set with translucent powder. Thennn I wear UD Half Baked on my lids + black eyeliner + one of my Revlon just bitten balm stains. It’s not super fancy but nobody’s complained lol
always a light smokey eye and never lipproducts. one must be able to do a little kissing without full catastrophe right!?
My go to look is : KAOIR COSMETICS LIPSTICK in: NEW HARLEM BY TEANNA TAYLOR AND SHOW OFF by Rapper TRINA AND(a BRIGHTER NARS DRAGON GIRL)WITH loreal volume mascara.urban decay tinted moist in bulletproof and mac fix powder in deep and bareminerals eyeshadow saturday (A SOFT creme white beige..with soft sparkle..mac eyeliner feline.and a touch mac fix spray.!
I spritz my face with MAC Fix+, apply primer, Guerlain Parure de Lumiere, and I set it with either Mythic or MAC Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder, apply NARS Deep Throat on my cheeks, do brown smokey eyes, line my lower lash line with MAC Lord It Up, use clear mascara, and set my eyebrows with MAC Beguile. Guerlain Rouge Automatique in Apres L’Ondee is my go-to for the lips.
By the way, you should definitely do the side-swept hair on your next date night, Christine. 🙂

Lately it has been, Guerlain Meteorites Perles Primer,Chanel Vita Aqua Fndtn, Chanel Pink Explosion Blush or TF Narcissist, Cheek Highlighter in Guerlain Cruel de Gardenia & Cupid bow, Eyes Chanel Illusoire cream shadow all over the lid & MAC Embark outer V & dab Chanel Fantasme cream shadow in the middle of eyelid & inner corner, Brow bone Burberry Trench Benefit They’re Real mascara, Liner inside the eye either Chanel in Beryl or MAC Chromographic in NC15, Lips loving YSL’s Lip Stain in #29.
Normally whatever I feel comfortable in. I also take the guy that I’m dating into account. I’ll put some effort into my look if I actually feel attracted to the person that I’m seeing.
If I care about looking good, then I wear a coral red lip and a neutral eye.
If I don’t care about the guy, then I’ll put on cheap lipgloss (which I dislike) and a semi-dramatic eye.
Date night, huh? Well since my husband hates makeup I try to keep it to a minimum. Liner and mascara is pretty much it. I wear more formal makeup to work!
I use a lightweight foundation like giorgio armani lasting silk and armani concealer. I set it with chanel loose powder. Then I use mac spiked pencil lightly on my eyebrows. For eyeshadow i just use giorgio armani eyes to kill #2 and smoke it up. Then mac feline pencil in the waterline and smudged on top and bottom lash line. lancome hypnose drama mascara. tom ford blush in wicked. mac angel lipstick w/underage lipglass over it. my husband hates heavy foundation but likes dark smokey eyes, this is his favorite way of doing my makeup so i wear it when i go on dates with him.
Obviously, it really depends on where I’m going. I’m not going to wear the same makeup to the theatre or ballet as I would to a club or concert. I don’t really have a “go-to”, since these are relatively infrequent occurences, and as such, I always make sure I have plenty of time to really indulge on my look. Sometimes, I like to just grab a random palette (that’s appropriate for the event), and start from there, but I always end up pulling in other shadows to “complete” the look. Once I figure out the eyes, the rest just falls into place.

Studio fix powder, MAC Cubic blush, and MAC Cultured lipglass… wow I sound like a bit of a MAC wh*re.
Date night? That’s usually a trip to the home depot with a romantic dinner at the take-out bbq place… we’ve been married a *long* time… but I do get dressed up for company receptions and conference banquets. Right now I’m loving a wash of gold eyeshadow (Maybelline color tattoo in bold gold) with a lovely black cateye and mascara. Skin is always easy with a bit of bb cream and a smidge of peachy-pink blush. Neutral lips. My current fave is Eternally Nude by L’Oreal in the new Shine Caresse (?) glossy lipstain.
Neutral smoky eye with all that glitters on inner half of eyelid, folie in outer half and blended into crease and under eye. Ricepaper on inner corners and browbone. Feline eyeliner smudged into upper lashline and on waterline, mascara. Blunt to contour cheekbones, give me sun msf as blush, by candlelight to highlight. Pale lips…….either blankety or siss lipstick topped off with a pale cremesheen gloss……either boy bait or fashion scoop. (All mac) i’m nc 42.
I will just use lip liner and one of my favorite lipsticks, either Ysl Rouge Volupte Caress Pink or Chanel Rouge Coco Legende. I will use some coats of black mascara, lash queen feline extravaganza, this one is really amazing. Concelear on undereye circles, rose initiale Chanel blush. Finally one of my favorite perfumes maybe D&G The One. 😀
My go to date night look is dewy foundation with lots of bronzer and an orange matte blush. I will usually contour my eye area to change the depth and put on a black liquid winged liner with a black mascara and sometimes false lashes. I usually keep the lips shiny with a gloss but no real intense color.
I would probably just wear neutral eyes like MAC vanilla and soft brown in the crease, then do a small cat eye, a little pink blush and a pink lip. Lot’s of lashes. It really depends on where the date is, but I would always play up my eyes because one way or another, I have a feeling my lipstick would come off ;).
For a date night I usually go with the following:
– foundation powder (Sephora Microsmooth)
– a subtle black and brown smokey eye with black eyeliner
– a bold pink lip (usually MAC Girl About Town lipglass)
– blush (lightly applied and that coordinates with my lip color)

It honestly depends on the guy and the situation. I saw someone else say this but I agree that if Im not totally into the guy I put in less effort. If its a typical drinks and dinner I will do a natural brown based smokey eye with a little naked lunch and cork, wedge and swiss chocolate smoked out. I always do thin upper lid eyeliner (loreal linear intense) and macs bronze shadow on the bottom lash line with a good curled eyelash and mascara. For face I do a light foundation but make sure to troubleshoot any blemishes. I conceal my under eyes well and focus on glowing skin. I usually sweep setting powder lightly over my skin, lightly bronze with Tarte Park Ave. Princess and love my Nars Madly blush with a bit of bareMinerals The Shining Moment Luminizer
