I love the feeling of a freshly cleansed face! Even more if it’s freshly exfoliated. It’s a lot like when you first lay down in your bed after you’ve been out all day long.

I shower at night. It’s a great way to unwind, I love the scent of my shower gel (yay Korres), and I always get out of the shower feeling so much better than before. My bathroom has a skylight in it so sometimes I just turn on the smaller light and shower in the dark, and it’s really relaxing especially if I have a headache.
If I skip the shower for whatever reason, I like the routine of washing my face: oil cleanser, regular cleanser, exfoliant (depending on day; I only do that about three times a week unless I’m really flaky) and moisturizer. I love how my skin feels after I use ExfoliKate and moisturize!
After I’m done moisturizing. I love cleaning everything off, but moisturizing feels SO good and I am finally done with it all and can crash for the night.
To match my previous answer: Beauty sleep of course! 😛
None! I just want to go to sleep and taking off my makeup gets in the way.
I second. My evening beauty routine is so obnoxious. I don’t like it at all.
Hot bath and tuck myself in for sleep. I love to sleep. Couldnt even answer the question about the “morning beauty routine”. Getting ready in the morning is a chore for me.
Taking off my makeup with something fresh and cleansing-like a scrub or fruity smelling gel. I love the way my face feels when it’s a little tight and super clean!
I like to shower right before bed and snuggle under the sheets while I’m still slightly damp. It’s a refreshing, relaxing feeling of being clean and slightly cool and a little sleepy.
I don’t have a set evening “routine”, but the one thing that remains a constant is washing my face, and moisturizing. Sometimes I shower, sometimes it’s just at the sink, but I always use the same cleanser, toner, and moisturizer; however, I do use an exfoliating brush as needed. Nothing feels better than a fully clean face.
There is nothing like a hot bath to “take the day off.” I do a dry body scrub while the hot water is running, and then I get in the tub and just close my eyes and relax for a few minutes. Next, I grab a mildly scented, but super moisturizing shower gel and a loofah and wash up. Wow, I feel like a new person, relaxed and ready to lounge as I drift off to sleep.
I love, love, love getting ready for bed! It takes forever, but I am such a perfectionist that I have to follow every step, to a T, every night (always!!!) The only part I could do without is eye makeup removal. I have 20 different brands of removers, but it still takes a ton of effort! I love thinking about which combo of products to use and how clean I feel when I am finished. The absolute best part though is my husband’s face when I walk to my side of the bed. He loves a clean scrubbed face and undone hair, so I always get a huge smile when I am done! 🙂
I’m with Christine on this one – I LOVE the feeling of a freshly cleansed and exfoliated face! Ahhh.
Oh, and a nice hot bath. Wonderful!
I do an evening yoga routine before sleep in order to help me feel relaxed. So soaking in a bath is my absolute favorite part of the night. Feeling clean, hydrated, and letting my muscles relax. It’s the loveliest part of the night for me.
I enjoy using my clarisonic. I don’t use it every night. However, I enjoy those nights when I use it.
I love being finished with my evening skincare routine. It feels good to have a nice, clean face.
Keeping your smile bright is part of your beauty routine, right? Weird, but I love the feeling after I’ve brushed my teeth and climb into bed minty fresh.
I loveee the whole showering and washing-my-face process. I just adore that whole fresh-and-clean feeling especially after using an exfoliator on my body and on my face. I just can’t sleep properly unless I’m clean. Even if I fall asleep, ill still wake up and find myself showering at 2am and going back to bed haha (my sister thinks I’m weird!)
Slathering on some body cream is another favourite (currently loving the Peter Thomas Roth moisturiser after trying the sample at Hilton) 🙂
i dont know if this sounds weird or not, but my face looks more clearer and more better in the evening. I wash my face twice a day, prior to applying makeup and then when im in the shower, but for some reason in the evening after washing it just looks so good, if it looked that good in the morning i wouldnt have worn foundation!
Clarisonic, of course!
Freshly washed hair, body and sheets.
Nothing better than washing my face and getting rid of the daily grime at the end of a hot spring or summer day. So refreshing!
Slathering on luxurious anti aging treatments. Now that I’m “older” (okay, early 40’s, but still feel 25 and still obsessed with makeup, obviously) my skin just drinks it up. I never have to buy anything because I’ve always got samples form Sephora or Ulta to use, so it’s something different every few nights. They always smell good too.
Using my Clarisonic and maybe doing an extra step some nights of a fast mask/scrub. I like ExfoliKate but I like a few others too.
Showering! Showering at night helps me “wash” away all the stresses of the day and clears my mind to prepare myself for beauty rest!
I take a shower every night. I love going to bed squeeky clean. I think my favorite part is scrubbing my face with my Olay Pro-X Cleansing Brush and using my lemon sugar body scrub. I love how they both leave my skin feeling. I don’t use Face oil every night but when I do, it feels really luxurious.
I try to keep it simple, not many products and no special eye creams. The Clarisonic brush is an important part of my evening routine. Since I have a more mature skin, I use an anti-aging moisturizer with Vitamine A + anti oxidants (Peter Thomas Roth Unwrinkle Night). This makes me wake up without looking like a shar-pei. Once a week I use the PMD (personal microdermabrasion device) since a couple of months. Another beauty device I really love. I am currently experimenting with some hyaluronic serums, but so far didn’t found one I am exited about.
I absolutely agree – there is nothing better than feeling a CLEAN face. When all the makeup, dust, whatever it is on the streets in the air is wiped off, the skin feels like it has just been born again! Unbelievably great!
