What's your favorite fragrance for summer?
I will have to figure it out! I don’t have seasonal go-tos since I am indoors for the most part, so even if it gets hot, I’ll wear scents that some might associate as too heavy for the heat!

I tend to lean a little more aquatic in the summer, or go for a bit more citrus that I usually do. Like you, I spend a lot of time in doors, so I don’t worry too much about what might be “too heavy” for summer. Lately I’ve been enjoying Solstice Scent’s Chiffon – vanilla, white musk, white amber, and lemon myrtle – sometimes layered with petrichor note.
I’m debating between Guerlain’s terracotta and jour d’Hermes. To be honest, I use most of my fragrances, included those two, basically all year long, aka also in winter. But I assume that they are both not heavy fragrances, suited for summer.
Either beachy scents with a touch of coconut and seafoam like Maison Margiela Beach Walk, or citrus with some light floral notes like Fresh Life. Being someone who primarily relies on either public transportation or rides from friends, I don’t want to wear anything too potent or off-putting. Plus, I LOVE smelling like the beach or like a walk through the citrus garden!
Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic has been my favorite for the past few years, and it’s still my #1, but I just bought Tiffany & Love. They’re both spicy, fresh, green, citrus scents, perfect for warm weather.
I love Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic too! 🙂
I guess I’ll have to try Tiffany&Love…
Tiffany & Love is a really nice fragrance. It goes on very bright citrus/basil, then eventually warms up to a soft citrus/green/woody/slightly floral finish.
Replica Sailing Day
I like wearing citrus, fruity, beachy ,and light gourmands in hot temperatures . Today its’ pretty hot and I’m wearing Xerjoff’s” Lira”. I also love wearing Tom Ford’s Soleil Blanc and Fragrance Du Bois “Santal Complet” . Recently brought Tiziana Terenzi Orza it has fruits, coconut, magnolia and caramel and lots of other notes it’s a long lasting fruity floral that I waited on a sale to buy.
For summer I love Fidji by Guy La Roche and my perenial Clinique’s Aronmatics Elixir.
I absolutely love Aromatics Elixir in the summer. There’ s something with heat that makes the scent bloom in a way that I don’t get in colder months. My other summer scents are Annick Goutal’s Eau D’Hadrien and Estee Lauder’s Azuree.
Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Intense or Jo Malone English Pear and Freesia
Ahhhh, Jean Nate🤍🤍
I love light sunny citrusy scents for the summer.
It has to be “Acqua di Giò” from Giorgio Armani for me. An oldie but goodie… Never goes out of fashion and always makes me happy to wear it.
Until recently, I wore Mugler’s Alien all year but in the last 2 years, I bought a few lighter fragrances and in spring/summer I go for Dior’s Blooming Bouquet, Aerin’s Ikat Jasmine or Nest’s Wisteria Blue. All are jasmine based but much softer and greener, especially compared to the heavy, almost narcotic jasmine of Alien. I only wear these during the day, however, as Alien is still my go to at night, and I switch to using it day and night during the fall and winter.
I don’t really do fragrances by season, but I like to bring out Juicy Couture Couture Couture in spring and summer. I get tons of compliments every time I wear it. It’s not too floral or sweet.
Oh, and Thierry Mugler Alien is another one.
