Since I started using smaller bags again, I actually don’t carry a separate makeup bag anymore. I just bring whatever lip colour I’m wearing that day.
Mac gloss in dreamy, mac blot powder, a clinique eye liner in chocolate luster, rosebud lip balm and NYX. Lip liner in forever.
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero (travel size), Physicians Formula translucent pressed powder, Sephora travel brush set, Burt’s Bees lip balm, whatever eye shadow & lipstick I’m wearing that day.

I’ve had to take out all my lipsticks so they don’t melt in the hot weather, so it’s looking a bit bare.
Two mascaras (Guerlain Noir G and Rimmel Scandaleyes ‘Retro’), a few eyeliners (Rimmel, Bourjois, Savvy and Urban Decay), three eyeshadow primers (theBalm, Bare Minerals (both of which I should throw away because they make my eyes water) and Too Faced (which is sadly nearly empty)), tweezers, cotton buds, Rimmel concealer and an ancient lipliner (which probably needs to go) and a mirror. I’ve also got a few lip glosses in my handbag, because they don’t melt.
I tend to swap stuff out and add in whatever I’m wearing that day for touch ups. I think it’s time I emptied it out and threw stuff away.
Not my make-up bag, per se, but in my purse, I always have a compact mirror, sunscreen (liquid and powder), moisturizer decant, an SPF lip balm (both stick and tube), 1 or 2 tinted lip balms (Epically Epic or Maybelline Baby Lips), and Palladio Rice Paper (blotting paper with powder on one side). When I’m actually wearing make-up I’d add a retractable black eyeliner, a travel-sized eyeshadow brush, a small sample baggie of my (loose) eyeshadow and my lip color of the day. Depending on what lip product I use, I might add a retractable lip liner (in clear and/or corresponding color) as well as a travel-sized lip brush. Sometimes I add a concealer pen as well. Sounds like a lot but in reality it’s rather minimalist.
Guerlain Les Voilettes compact powder in Dore, Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Bare Beige, MUFE Liquid Lip Color in 13 (mauvey pink shade), an MLBB Aveda lip liner, Clarins repairing lip balm, blotting papers, a small nail file, tweezers, a hand cleansing gel and a mirror.
These were yesterday’s, but I haven’t taken them out of my bag yet, so I guess they still count… 😀

Two lip pies. One is an old Bare Minerals lipgloss in a deep wine color. Gorgeous on, a little thick and not very long lasting at all. I use it in the evening. By day, I am most likely to have a CG lipstick in a barely there mauve shade.
And that’s about it.
I just have Carmex lip balm and wipes and hand sanitizer. I am one of the few people who changes what’s in their makeup bag everyday. I put different makeup stuff in my bag based on what I am wearing for the day.
I repacked mine last night, actually (going away for the holidays).

I’m nearly out of the BB cream so I’m taking a foundation to mix with the ones I have in the UK since they’re way too dark for me lmao. The rest is just a basic look that I don’t have to think about – I have a few palettes and lip colours in the UK which I can grab if I feel like mixing it up.
Thank God for having a stash spread across countries haha.

I carry two travel size makeup bags in my purse. One for face/eye makeup and one for lippies. I used to keep all my lippies in the zippered pickets inside my purse (which is typically used for cell phones) and keep my cell phone in a pocket outside my purse, but my current purse doesn’t have a pocket on the outside, just a small zippered one inside so I use that for my phone and have a whole separate bag for lippies because I need a lot with me at all times!
My face/eye make up bag is a black and pink one from Hard Candy with hearts and swallows on it. it’s very pretty and the perfect size. In there I have:
1. Benefit’s The POREfessional mini size
2. NYX Concealer in a Jar in “Light”
3. Rimmel Stay Matte powder in “Translucent”
4. Jordana Best Last Extreme Volumizing Mascara in “Black”

1. Purple jewel travel compact mirror (got it in my stocking a few years ago. I love it! It has two mirrors, one regular and one zoomed in. Perfect size, fits in the palm of my hand, easy to hold and pretty. It’s what I use to apply my make up, even at home.)

I don’t generally carry a makeup bag with me, but I keep one at work for days when I hit the gym before my shift. Its contents include:

LOL I currently have 2 small makeup bags in my purse and a third full-face travel bag in the car because I’ve had to do may makeup on the go repeatedly this week to accommodate all the Christmas craziness.
I took a pic of the 2 bag stash (mostly lips) and posted it to my Instagram 2 weeks ago for a December Makeup Challenge.
In Short – I always keep a little something for eyes, concealer, cheeks, Brows and lippies – and a full Eco Tools Brush set. I tend to have a ridiculous assortment of lip stuffies because I rarely do the same lip twice and I always throw in what I am wearing – and then there are the standard lips. I keep more drugstore stuffies in my purse just in case (like Salma Hayek brow pencil and Milani brow kit – lots of Milani and NYX lippies) but there’s high end in there too. I like options 🙂
