Wow, that’s like a 20 minute look for me! (I can’t apply foundation in less than 10, eyebrows are five at least)

My five minute look is mascara and loose powder over moisturizer. Guess I’m just slow, lol.

This is my go-to-in-a-rush makeup look: Nars Radiant Creamy concealer, UD Naked skin foundation mixed with moisturizer, Mac Espresso for brows, UD Juju eyeshadow pencil, UD Zero eyeliner, Buxom mascara, Tarte Exposed blush and Jack Black lip balm.

Sarah Liz Avatar

For me, it’s foundation, the Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Shadow in “Barely Branded”, some winged black gel liner, mascara, blush and whichever lip product I pull out first.

Jade Avatar

BB cream (Garnier BB cream for Oily/Combo skin, AWESOME product!!), concealer (Garnier underye tinted roll on and anti-spots tinted roll-on), brows (MAC Eyebrows in Lingering), eyeliner (Covergirl Liquiline Blast in Brown Blaze), mascara (a tubing formula like Eyeko as I’m skipping eyelid primer), powder (ALWAYS MAC MSF Natural, I can’t go past it) blush (often MAC Supercontinental) and whatever lip product is floating in my handbag.

Hannah Avatar

Foundation (Armani Designer Lift)
Concealer (Shiseido Natural Finish)
Bronzer (Guerlain Terracotta nb. 3)
Mascara (Noir Guerlain)
Lipgloss (Chantecaille Myrth)!

Five minutes for me means products I can use quickly by applying with fingers for this quick glowy summer look. Guerlain terracotta teint joli as a base, NARS matte multi in altai for sculpting cheeks, pat and blend Becca beach tint shimmer in Fig/Opal on top. Eyes are Chanel illusion d’ombre cream shadow in New Moon all over lid and into crease , push brush Bobbi Brown shadow in Steel on upper lid as a hint of liner. Mascara. Fill in brows a bit with Anastasia pencil in Brunette. Lips are MAC Impassioned ..a cheery bright pinky red. I always get compliments when I wear this lip. Done

My five minute look (which is every work morning for me ) is BB cream, blush, a quick wash of shadow on my eyes, usually brûlée or retrospeck by MAC, a quick pop of color on my lower lash line which varies everyday but I love a teal or purple shade , mascara and some gloss.

Michelle Avatar

Dr. Jart Beauty Balm, blush and lipstick, maybe mascara but if I’m in a huge rush I’ll skip it. Can’t leave the house without lipstick or gloss, I need it to brighten up my pasty Irish complexion lol.

Brenda Avatar

BB Cream, conceal eye circles, set w/ HD powder under eyes and on lids (both for oiliness and creasing), quick swipe of skin tone shadow (again to prevent oil on lids), curl lashes, 3 coats mascara, tightline w/brown liner! I am using a tan/plum blush as a contour right now, to slim my puffy pregnancy face, but I can do this face very quickly!! I add highlighter if I have time as well, again to give my face some brightness and shape. Lips are whatever I have in my purse when I get in the car.

Nina Avatar

Concealer (Mac Pro longwear), powder (mac pressed blot powder), transparent eyebrow gel, simple eyeshadow (urban decay w.o.s in the eyelid and naked2 in the crease), mascara and lip balm 🙂

Ha! Timely question. I had five minutes notice to put myself together and get out the door yesterday morning. This is what I did (and always do when I have such short notice) : a tinted and moisturizing sunscreen (Bobbi Brown Extra), a quick brush of the brows with a flick or two of eyebrow pencil for the worst of the empty spots, a soft swipe of a neutral blush (NYX) and a tinted lip balm. I have a few from Alima which work well for me. And that is that. Not much fun to do but it works and gets me out that door so DH is not kept waiting. 🙂

Amy Avatar

BB Cream (Revlon PhotoReady BB Cream), mascara (Benefit They’re Real mascara layered under CoverGirl Clump Crusher), one of Revlon’s Lip Butters, then top it off with finishing powder (Essence Mattifying Compact Powder)

Nesita Avatar

It’s nice to see what other people focus on when pressed for time. My main concern is usually looking awake so for me it’s concealer under the eyes and on the eyelids, curled lashes with mascara, a nude eyeliner on the waterline, filled in eyebrows and a tinted lipbalm or a gloss.

Laura_Lou Avatar

Bobbi Brown tinted moisturiser
Lancome mascara
Dior lipglow
MAC cream blush

I don’t use brushes, just put the tinted moisturiser and blush on with my fingers. This literally takes me 5 minutes.

Sonia Avatar

CC cream, Loose powder, paint pot, eyeliner, lipstick.
To be honest I don’t even know why i use these 5 products. It’s like 40 degrees Celsius in Dubai and the makeup just melts off in an hour =[

Lisa Avatar

Omorvicza BB, Armani Maestro concealer, Makeup up Fovever creme blush, Laura Mercier “tightline” cake liner. Chanel Volume mascara, Tom Ford Lipstick

Michelle R Avatar

Naturally I have good/great skin so I don’t do anything to it other than moisturize and spf. I use an under eye concealer (laura mercier) & under eye cream (bobbi brown) then set it w/bare escentuals mineral veil which i might put on my entire face for shine control. throw on some mascara (l’oreal but looking for a non animal testing alternative as i’m trying ot get away from cosmetic co who do that), some gloss or lipstick and liquid eyeliner (forgot the brand…love it tho). 5 min (give or take a few min here and there) and i’m out the door. easy peasy

1- Foundation : either True Match by L’oreal or the BB Sublime Occitane if I woke up with “good skin” and a quick 8 hour lip balm E Arden to hydrate lips 1 minute +
2- Eyebrows: just the Speed Brow by Benefit that defines and “tames” in one go. Less than 1 minute
3- Blush: Either blush cream 2 by Bourjois with fingers or the duo Orgasm/ Laguna Nars with brushes. 1 minute
4- Mascara: A new discovery from Cosmetics a la Carte..Divine something, just 1 minute.( If on weekend I put the khol by Guerlain eastern style..5 seconds each eye in the waterline.
5- Lips: Quik balm with a hint of colour, either Revlon Honey or Jordana’s Honey Love. 10 seconds.

Ah…and a ditz of perfume…lately either Jo Malone Dark Amber Ginger Lily or Fico di Amalfi Acqua di Parma….to rush out the door.

Chi-Chi Avatar

Moisturizer, a swipe of shimmery bronze or gold eyeshadow on the lid and blended into the crease, black liquid eyeliner on the top lid only, mascara, and lipstick or lip gloss.
So quick and easy I could do it in my sleep, but it really makes a difference in how I look and feel.

AudreyNZ Avatar

Well, um…takes me longer than five minutes to just apply foundation. I may be able to powder, eyeliner and lipstick in five minutes.

Stephanie Avatar

My current five minute look is sunscreen, primer, a little tinted moisturizer and a lip balm or gloss, with a coat of mascara.

Gabriela Avatar

Moisturizer with SPF 30, concealer under the eyes (Revlon Coloustay in Pale) set with loose powder (MAC Prep+Prime Transparent Finishing Powder), concealer on blemishes (MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NC 15), curl lashes, mascara (Max Factor 2000 Calories, I don’t like it at all), powder foundation (MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus in NW 15), blush (MAC Desert Rose, LOVE IT) and lipstick (L’Oreal Color Riche in Velvet Rose, lovely rosy pink).

Michelle Avatar

I can’t manage all that much in 5 mins…so, it’s tinted sunscreen (Biore for its wonderful weightless formula), Garnier roll-on undereye concealer, quick dusting of powder, The Body honey sun bronzer (because it’s so natural), Becca blush or Hourglass ambient lighting blush (again, because they’re so natural), and that’s it! If I have 2 mins more, then I’ll add mascara and do my brows (which are quite defined on their own, thankfully). So, a no-makeup look is about all I can manage in 5.

Jan Kelley Avatar

Lancome Visionnaire, foundation, light dusting of powder, blush. For my eyes, I use a ton of Fairy Drops mascara. Then a little eyebrow pencil and lip gloss. Less than 5 minutes!

Lotus Avatar

Moisturizer mixed with MAC Strobe Cream, Becca Moonstone & Pearl liquid Shimmering Skin Perfector, Laura Gellar sugar free Raspberry Blush n Brighten used as blush, on eyes as well, just squeezing the brush smaller and sweeping through, then Guerlain Max-Lash Mascara, Hourglass Ambient Lightening, whatever it is, Powder in Ethereal to highlight and bring light under eyes, soften face, then Bite Agave Lip Mask, and I’m done! YaY! 😀

* Clinique Super City Block Broad Spectrum SPF 40 — I consider this the first step in my makeup because I MUST have SPF on my face before I head out. It has a slightly tacky texture that really helps the mineral foundation adhere to my skin, but it doesn’t make my skin overproduce oil.

* Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation — Quick and easy and flawless. I take a Sonia Kashuk No. 130 synthetic brush (which is basically the Tarte Airbuki with a long handle) to press it into my skin.

* NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard — Covers both undereyes and imperfections. Custard is a bit dark for my NC15 skin tone, but I find that a darker, more yellow-toned concealer helps to cancel out the blueishness of dark circles and conceal the redness of blemishes, not highlight them.

*Benefit Gimme Brown in Medium/ Dark — Quickest brow routine in one product ever. I swipe it on where my brows are a bit sparse and it fills them in and helps keep my brow hairs in place.

* Physician’s Formula Eye Booster Liquid Liner in Ultra Black — My HG liquid eyeliner. I use this every single day and I can get a kitten/ cat eye done in about 15 seconds.

* CoverGirl Clump Crusher Mascara in Very Black — Foolproof. It separates, lengthens, and volumizes my lashes and stays put all day without smudging or flaking. I use it on both top and bottom lashes. It’s perfect.

* Becca Mineral Blush in Bolero — A go-to during the summertime for me. The bronze/ rose shade makes for a bronzer/ blush in one. I swipe it on and blend it into my cheeks with the NARS Ita brush to give my face definition and color. It’s highly pigmented and buttery and easy to work with.

* Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm in Natural Rose — A recent favorite of mine! This is the perfect MLBB for me. It smells good, feels amazing, and has a decent amount of pigmentation. It’s been living in my handbag all month long.

I know this seems like quite a bunch of products, but I swear it takes me 5 minutes or less to get it all on my face. 😀

Wow I think I am completely incapable of doing a 5 minute look. I can barely finish putting on some mascara and one eyeshadow, let alone anything else. My respect to anyone that manages to pull off a full face. I see sometimes on Youtube those 2 min challenges and shake my head….I can’t even imagine what my face would look like if I attempt it lol.

Bryana Avatar

I do this almost every morning: Black eyeliner, 2 mascaras, lipstick and go
(I can’t do my foundation well in five minutes but if I could i would totally add that)

Lila Avatar

A very liquid foundation that spreads easily (Chanel perfection lumiere velvet), cream eyeshadow, mascara, blush and lipstick. DONE.

Mari Avatar

Concealer, black eyeliner, mascara, blush, any sheer lipstick (or colored lipbalm). But it depends where I’m going to, I can also use more eyeliner or some darker lipstick instead.

Alison Avatar

Powder, brows, mascara, a bit of smokey coppery/neutral eyeshadow and eyeliner!

Hmmm… Face powder, lip balm and the rest of the emphasis on the eyes: natural, neutral/subtle (or coppery/slightly smoky) eyeshadow, eyeliner, a bit of brow pencil and mascara.

my 5 minute look is – spf moisturizer (i usually get whatever’s on sale at the drugstore., though i used to love clinique’s lighter moisturizer, not the yellow one.. it was in a green bottle)…. then some MUFE HD foundation (very lightly and only on problem areas, blended out) .. the MAC blot powder, then UDPP, a slightly shimmery shadow (like MAC vanilla pigment), and a soft grey shadow for the crease. finish off with MAC fluidline in blacktrack, diorshow blackest black mascara, fill in my brows with a dark dark brown shadow and an angled brush (my hair is blonde on one side and black on the other side, so i dont go crazy on trying to match that nonsense..) and a bright or strong lip. this is my go to when i have to go to work and do my makeup on the 7 train from flushing to manhattan! 🙂

– Wake up

– Done

Avon CC SPF 50, Nars eyebrow pencil in Kalamata, Rimmel Stay Blushed cheek tint in peach and Hush Cream Colour Base on lids and as highlighter.

Vanessa Avatar

I don’t like to rush. I feel hassled and bothered. I’d rather go without.

In five minutes, I could probably do a tight line. If I had a few more minutes, I’d probably do brows, but then it would probably be 7 minutes total.
